I dig the format you've been doing lately.. the educational videos on equipment, the funny meme videos, and insight on the youtube world of what you do; It keeps everything fresh, preventing viewer burnout. You're creating an inspiring and unique legacy, and I appreciate that I'm able to be around to witness it in real-time. Keep it up, keep it up, keep it up!
This track is an absolute banger! It sounds like the best outcome of crossing Four Tet with The Chemical Brothers. It's warm, chill, optimistic, grooving - great stuff!
I will never get over how well you make every sound blend together, while simultaneously bringing out the unique qualities of every individual sound with mixing, filters, and effects. These tracks make my day, and inspire me to write on my OP-1 more. :)

Hey, I just realised you are one of my strongest inspirations on how to work with daws that op-1 workflow looks like very produktive fun. While I don't own one I am more trying to build up templates and samples to make live music. I have a strong feeling that all the puzzle pieces will fall into place one day. Also very nice this one.

Brian Eno .. the literal godfather of ambient. I honestly didn't know of Passengers, will need to check some of that out. Wonder if he'd love a bit of the Sonic Butts and Throaty Warbs!?
Oh this is great, I'm a huge U2 fan, and like you, I rank the Passengers album pretty high on the list. It came out a few years before I started making music and I think it influenced me a lot, most of the music I make sounds like movie soundtrack music. A lot of U2 fans don't hold this album in too high regard, it's a little too different from what U2 usually puts out. Brian Eno is actually listed ahead of Larry Mullen Jnr. as who are the "Passengers" on the album, and over the years Mullen has talked some trash about this album, his drumming is kind of muted on the album in favor of more electronic sources. It is perhaps because of this that "Passengers Vol. 1" never saw a "Vol. 2" in the quarter century since it's come out. But perhaps "Passengers" itself is already "Vol. 2" with the real Volume 1 being "The Unforgettable Fire", which is itself a very unique U2 album. That was the first time U2 and Brian Eno collaborated together and I think you can hear a common thread running through the two albums. That first album was one of the first with an actual U2 instrumental. Both albums even had songs with "Elvis" in the title. Thanks for making this track and celebrating this great, but mostly unknown U2 album. I hope people here take the time to check out the original, there's a lot of great and strange tracks on that album. P.S. the liner notes of the album had descriptions for the movies each song was for, but it turns out most of the movies don't actually exist! Some of the descriptions sounded great and I wish they had made them into movies in the long run. I wish I could find the liner notes and post what the description for "An Ordinary Day" was!
@@RedMeansRecording Yeah, only three of the movies are real! Imagine back when this album came out, when information like that wasn't as readily available, trying to chase down on of these movies! I vaguely remember being most intrigued by the synopsis of "Slug" the most and being disappointed years later when I found out that no such movie existed.
