Above all else Jesus taught us to be humble and because I'm humble I admit to our Lord that I am not perfect and because I am not perfect I need Jesus, without Jesus I am nothing. Since the holy spirit came into me I have made huge strives towards sanctification however I still stumble. I do not claim nor will I claim that I am perfect because those are the people who act like Pharisees.
Are you calling me a pharisee? Do you hate me because I tell you the truth. Listen, I lived the fake christian life for years, it's miserable. I found the love of my life (God) and I would rather die than sin against Him. What you lack is faith and love. Let me give you some scriptures to show "the way" taught in the Bible. Christians must hate their life and give it up in order to follow Jesus. Jesus said you cannot be my disciple unless you forsake all that you have. Christians must be crucified with Christ that they might live by the faith of Christ (Galatians 2:20). Pastors (Bishops) have to be blameless/perfect (1 Timothy 3:2). Do you believe the Bible? Think about it. So you need to be discipled by a holy man. Can you be holy and be in sin? No, look up the definition for holy. David said he was holy. Was He a pharisee? Psalms 86:2 Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee. 1 John 3:5-8 5And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 6Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 7Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8He that committeth sin is of the devil; Noah was a preacher of righteousness. You can only preach righteousness if you are righteous, otherwise you would be a hypocrite and be condemned by your own judgment. The true church is few and they are the holy remnant. It was prophesied we would be hated by all for His namesake and that we would be persecuted for righteousness sake, that means for being righteous, but we are blessed. I write this not to justify myself but because I pity those who grow up in this degenerate church world. But you will still be without excuse on judgment day. Being religious will not save you. You have to believe every word of the King James Bible and be born again. 1 John 5:18 He that is born of God sinneth not, and he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked toucheth him not. You have no power. Repent in sackcloth and ashes. We are commanded to live like Christ. Be Holy or Be damned. Said in love! I would be happy to help you if you're humble. I'm a true pastor, not a hireling. Don't fight against the people of God. Find out how they got the victory in Jesus!
@@DaytonStreetPreachers I do not hate you brother in Christ I love you. I however see salvation through a different lense. The lense of our Lord Christ Jesus. He brought me out of sin out of 28 years of Atheism and hatred towards God and his believers. I now follow the way. I had a super natural experience with our Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit this last June. My view of salvation is this: 23 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cumin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness. These you ought to have done, without neglecting the others. 24 You blind guides, straining out a gnat and swallowing a camel! Justice and faithfulness and mercy.
@@The_Way_Ministries How does that that contradict the command to be holy? Does the Bible contradict itself. He commands you to live Holy. We cannot depend on an experience with the Lord. We must depend on His written word. I too have had experiences but everything He shows us is backed up in His Word. If you are His sheep you will hear His voice and will not follow another. 1 Thess 4:7 He hath not called us to uncleanness, but unto holiness. Through faith and dependance on Him you can live righteously. That what grace is for. Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared unto all men, teaching us that denying unGodliness, and worldly lust, we should live soberly, righteously, and Godly in this present age. Paul taught us to only sow to the Spirit, and not to the flesh and we will reap everlasting life. His way is the way of holiness. the Bible says without holiness no man shall see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14). We are commanded to abide in Jesus and if we abide in Jesus we will not sin because there is no sin in Jesus. So we are not good. But He is good and we are dependent on Him. Believing Him and trusting in His Words to the death.
@@DaytonStreetPreacherswhat if you do sin. James says if you stumble at the law at least one point you've been the whole law. The wages of sin any sin is death. The Bible also says you are sealed with spirit unto the day of redemption once you believe so you can't lose it. You are also dead to the law and also alive in faith. By his obedience we are made righteous not our own. The seed that remains in him cannot sin at all. You must be perfect as your heavenly father is perfect. Are you as perfect as your heavenly father?
@@yeshuasaves217 James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. I agree with this verse. Do you? Jesus said if your hand causes you to offend cut it off because it would be profitable for you to enter into life with one hand, than to enter into hell fire with both hands. Do you believe this teaching? What sin is Jesus not able to deliver and keep you from? And what did Jesus come to save His people from? Matthew 1:21 For you shall name Him Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sin. If you are still in sin then you still walk in darkness and the Bible says the truth isn't in you. 1 John 2:3-4 By this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He that says I know Him and doesn't keep His commandments. Jesus said, you can tell a tree by its fruit. A good tree cannot bear corrupt fruit, and evil tree cannot bear good fruit. Therefore, make the tree good and its fruit will be good. I have believed in Jesus Words for 9 years ago when He sanctified my soul to the truth. And yes, by the grace of God I am perfect in Christ, which is what the Bible commands. the Bible says: Mark the perfect man, behold the upright, for the end of that man is peace. @@peterblackburn272 Sin is not an accident. It's a deliberate choice to rebel against a holy God. If you do that you are not a real christian. Holiness is the standard and that is very reasonable and only possible if you give up your life. Jesus said to go and sin no more. That means go and sin no more. Be a man of honor and preach and teach what Jesus did, which is "be perfect". Otherwise you are not the messenger of Christ. Because messengers give the message, not their thoughts about the message. Repent of your unbelief and believe every word that proceeds from His mouth. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. It's called the grace of God. Nobody's trying to be justified by the letter, we just aren't taking the grace of God in vain. Grace is power to live holy. Get a good understanding and never fight against holiness and perfection because God is true and everyone else is a liar. You have to die in order to live and you must be born again and live a life in service to Christ everyday. Because He hath not called us unto cleanness, but unto holiness (1 thess 4:7) . Have faith!
Jesus Christ is the author of eternal salvation to those who obey Him (Hebrews 5:9). The Holy Spirit is given to all those who obey Him (Acts 5:32). So God gets all ruffled up about our mundane little sins, makes a huge deal about killing himself in human form to save us, only for us to still be judged?!? Doesn't sound like a divine plan to me.
I don't think the Christian God is good if he condemns people for just one small sin. It's like his holiness is deranging his thinking in the same way a mother who has a cleanliness disorder and punishes her toddler severely if he gets even a small stain or spill at meal time. That is not right.
Would you call a glass of water with one drop of poison, pure - then consume it? Such as it is with God. He's not going to bring unholy things into His Holy place.
@@TheDeathInTheAir It’s more like calling a glass of cold, clean water unclean and throwing it out because it has some harmless impurity that no one in their right mind is concerned about.
