My son and I just saved $100-$200 depending on which auto repair I talked to. We bought the part and used this video and had the job done in about 30 mins. I am a 52 year old single mom and my son is 16. We enjoyed working together and learning more about auto repair. Thank you for the video!
I bought the mirror, that’s all i thought i needed. Is that round thing the backing plate? I’m not sure if i need a new one but the round thing is on mine
I have just noticed that my mirror vibrates like it is a little loose what can I do to correct this ? Thanks for any help you can give me ,,No electronics it is a manual one !
Tell me about it. I only just read your comment, and felt instant hatred towards you. You know, kind of like the instant love of a mother for her newborn, but only with hate of course. Towards you. One year old comment, still couldn’t leave it be. Beat that😏
thanks for the video, good to learn from the mistakes as well as the basic how. Not sure what the smug patronising voice over is meant to do, maybe I just miss the humour if its intended.
I don't even use the right side mirror, I took mine off. It's actually useless. The only reason to have it is if you are really bad at parking. Why would anyone use it for driving? No wonder why there are so many accidents. Look over your shoulder. You will see exactly where the cars are instead of maybe getting a general idea from the mirror, perhaps. So dangerous, so dangerous.
The you look over your shoulder for a split second to double check instead of having to really look hard over your shoulder to make sure there are no cars. Please nobody listen to this person and take your mirror off.......
@@equilskateboarding7676 talk to any driving teacher. The mirror on the right side is not accurate and can actually cause accidents. You shouldn’t turn your head until you are sure you are far enough away from the car in front of you. You would know the proper distance if you were a good driver. You shouldn’t be close to the driver in front of you, at all. I know this seems alien to you, but good drivers will be at least a car’s length away from the car in front of you, and your head should not be turned for more than a fraction of a second. Matter of fact cars didn’t start having mirrors on the right side until the 70s, and it was to make the car look good. Do some history on it. Do some research. I’ve been driving since the early 90s as a taxi driver, a repo driver, delivery driver, never once have I relied on the right side inaccurate mirror. And never once have I even come close to an accident. I drive in NYC, btw.

Lol the point is so that you can keep your eyes forward in the direction the vehicle is moving
