My brother swerved into a dumpster while in my car. He paid for the replacement and this video taught me all I needed to fix that lil blunder. Sadly, nothing can teach my older brother not to swerve into the sidewalks.

I have a 1979 El Camino that needs both side mirrors replaced. There are no visible screws on the outside and it looks like the only way to replace the mirrors is to remove the interior panel like you did in the video. I want to make sure this is the only way to access the mirror housing in order to remove and replace them.
Hoping this will help me learn how to put towing mirrors on my truck

Silly question but legitimately curious - can you replace your current car's side mirrors with those from a completely different model? If not, what are the complications that prevents it?
+Wirrrishere We recommend only replacing mirrors on an option-to-option basis to ensure the parts are able to fit correctly. The parts may not be able to bolt into place or not work due to the different pins.

The heading was how to replace a wing mirror, it seems some cars have more complicated process than the other. My case is a mirror itself is broken to avoid all this work can’t I just take off the wing mirror and replace it?
I just bought one for my 2018 Rav 4. I hope it's the same concept.
I just installed the mirror. ND it worked like a charm. Popped out the side Inside door panel, then screwed a few screw off and the unplugged the old mirror put the new one. N all back together. In less than 15 minutes
i have a small car and think that the side mirror are way too tiny. i have to choose between seeing the ground and seeing behind me. is it possible to replace them with bigger mirrors?

I purchased a used side mirror for my 2004 Ford Freestar..I installed it but when I press the up button the mirror goes down and when I press the right button the mirror goes down...any idea why?
I did this and it worked, but my controls are mirrored. like when I press up it goes right and when I press down it goes left. I have an 2012 Nissan Altima

My vehicle is silver with silver mirror "housings" but all the ones from your website are black, is that just for the pictures or will I have to go through the painting process before installing?

Can you just replace the mirror itself and keep the case attached to the door ?
Just the mirror was broke everything else works.

Im scared to do it myself because I feel like I’d break something. I have a 2013 Ford Fusion hybrid SE so you can imagine how different these two are. But would that change anything I would have to do?? Are the steps the same?
