- Self-Realization Fellowship monk Brother Sevananda shares wisdom from Paramahansa Yogananda on how we can unite our individual will with that infinite power of the Divine which flows through us and all living things.
By doing this, we will be able to “use the instrument of our will to not only accomplish what is practical and necessary in our lives, but most importantly…to realize and know ourselves as an almighty spark of that same infinite Power.”
This talk was recorded at the SRF Glendale Temple in California.

Thank you for your words of encouragement. I needed to hear this, I keep fasting and praying still no break threw. I feel like a failure. I lost my job for declining the vaccine. I declined due to my pre existing health conditions (Lupus) and (heart disease) I’ve been struggling to pay bills and keep food on the table since. I’m so ashamed of my situation. I’ve been mocked and laughed at because of my circumstances. It hasn’t been easy especially as a single mother with two autistic sons both are non verbal. My husband passed away years ago. I’m all alone. I’m sick of struggling and feeling like a burden. I’m sick of crying out asking for help. My cries go on deaf ears. I want to give up on life. But my faith in God is too strong. I still have faith God will change my living situation. Even though I’m facing homelessness this month with two young children. I will continue to keep FAITH. FAITH OVER FEAR!
Visualize yourself living the life you want.
Do it at least 6 times per day, preferably after meditation.
And visualize Gurudeva at the point between the eyebrows.
It helps.
