- Self-Realization Fellowship monk Brother Sevananda shares wisdom from Paramahansa Yogananda on learning to see the Divine Presence in every person and every situation.
Brother Sevananda points out that the more we are able to do this, the more we will meet all circumstances of life with kindness, strength, courage, and understanding - until we eventually behold God’s beauty, joy, and love behind everything in our lives.
This talk was recorded at the 2018 SRF World Convocation in Los Angeles.

I truly needed to hear this because I’m so discouraged waiting on God to bless me and my children. As a single mom with two children with special needs. I’m so tired of struggling to provide every month not knowing if I’m going to have my rent money is so exhausting. Struggling to buy groceries I’m overwhelmed I keep faith but honestly I’m losing hope. Jesus hear my prayers and heal my lupus and heart disease.

Divine Mother, I know whatever conditions confront me, I know that they represent the next step in my spiritual unfoldment. I will welcome all the tests. I know that within me is the intelligence to understand and the power to come.
I will will, I will act, I will reason, but guide Thou my will, activity and reason.

I find it difficult to love an individual, especially one who has leveled numerous subtle attacks against me for years. How can I love such a one?
It struck me to love this individual with the internal mantra of "l love all my neighbors unconditionally including the most difficult ones" Using the word "all" has made it exponentially easier to 'love my neighbor as myself'.

Ultimately hasn't God become everything as He is the sole reality so all people and all conditions are nothing other than God? This was presented, if I'm not wrong, in the quotes/prayers from Master.
I'm sorry to say that, but I prefer not to have relationship with human beings, except just a few people. I prefer the animals.
Love both internally. That's what Christ consciousness is. It means all.
But you have to be able in time to see God and serve God in all where He dwells and feel connected to them as part of the sole Reality. I'm not pretending like I'm there yet, but it is the ultimate goal of life.
@@mysticwineI love every living being. But, as Yogananda taught, I don't want intimacy with all people. Yogananda said that we have to love everyone, but not that have intimacy with people. And to search for friends that are on the same quest for God. He said that in " Sayings of Paramahansa Yogananda". Thanks for your words. One day everyone will be one here on Earth. 🙏
