If you're waiting for others to validate your feelings, you've already lost. Stoicism says it straight: seeking approval makes you weak.
Try to detach from your Ego self and allow space to focus within the Stoic mind.
Relationships have their own personal agendas which may require constant capitulation and compromise giving the word Love another lexicon.
