    I used to think that stoicism was for pretentious individuals who had given up on expressing emotions and was just another way bottling up emotions. I was wrong. Stoicism is about becoming one with your emotions, accepting them, and not letting them control your actions.
    It's kind of poetic that we are more perceptive to change once we are more vulnerable. If you are reading this, then I hope your journey is less painful than mine, and that you become a better man than you used to be yesterday. Stay strong king.

      I love how this video emphasizes living in the present and practicing gratitude. It’s so easy to get caught up in worrying about the future or dwelling on the past, but being mindful and grateful for the present moment can truly transform your life. The Stoics had it right all along - happiness really does come from appreciating what we have right now. Great content!

      Thankyou. I am trying to rebuild my life. I have not used any drugs or alcohol on almost 90 days without going to any support groups. I have a case in superior court,and I am really freaked out. I am going to start my own business next month, I've been planning it for a while. I have gone through so many changes in the past 10 years. I overcame being homwless,and got back on my feet. I don't look at people the same anymore. I don't trust most people. I have seen a lot of bad things in this world . I don't have much faith in the human race. I get long with animals better than I get along with people.

    Best break through I ever had is, is that love is self cultivated and shared when in excess. Love that us given in this manner is never in need of reciprocation and depends on noone. It is a pure complete love and doesn't secretly beg to be returned in order to a fill a void in ourselves. There is no void to fill. It is real love. It is cultivated, through humility, positive change, self trust, accomplishment, acceptance, compassion, positivity, once you fill your own love tank. Then u can share it

    • @TheStoicPath-t9r
      @TheStoicPath-t9r 19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Absolutely! That perspective on love resonates deeply. It's so empowering to recognize that genuine love comes from within and isn't contingent on others. I explore similar themes of personal growth and self-love in my content as well. It's amazing how cultivating that inner joy lets us connect with others more meaningfully!

    I know it is not so important, but the word is ‘MEMENTO’ not momento: it is an imperative verb in Latin, which means : ‘REMEMBER’ I think it is a remnant form, only used in the imperative: for other tenses and modes, Latin makes recourse to other verbs maybe derivative from ‘memoria’, like ‘memorare’ to remember, to reminisce. ‘Momentum’ and your version in its case flexi on, means ‘moment’.

    I was once told by a teacher that I had the mind, and I embodied that of a Stoic and that I would live a long life because of it. I didn't fully understand what that meant until I was much older.
    This video and many like it put it into a much better perspective and teaches us to grow in a more harmonious life with ourselves. I'm so grateful for this video! I'm proud to live an authentic Stoic life.

    Your thoughts and actions can put you in hell or take you out of it... It's a matter of how you look at the circumstances....

    I used to believe that vulnerability was a sign of weakness, something to avoid at all costs. But I’ve learned that embracing vulnerability is one of the most courageous things we can do. It’s not about being fragile-it’s about being authentic and allowing ourselves to grow.
    Change often comes when we open ourselves up, even if it feels uncomfortable or uncertain. If you’re reading this, I hope your path is filled with lessons that strengthen you and moments that inspire growth. Keep striving, and remember-you’re already stronger than you think, king. 👑

    I suppose compassion and empathy have their place and time, but realize it will not just be taken advantage of but heartily abused by evil. I think we are at a point where good, strong men can no longer passively live in society. We must begin to stand back up for the evil among us has abused our virtue for too long.
