Thanks mate, it's way harder to play these kinds of clean games than people realise because I understand the ideas quite well - it's very easy to adopt the wrong plan or misplace a few pieces and get a very different kind of game
Clean game! At 16:08 (you were totally winning with any move not blundering a piece) instead of Ne5, maybe Be5 would have triggered a quicker resignation.
Potentially mate, that one did take a while to prepare and record so we will see in the future. I am considering making a very in depth paid course for it to do it full justice though
you said him playing h3 on the first game was a waste of a move or a slow move words to that extent but how was your a6 not the same? both prophylactic moves??
That can definitely be argued yes. My counterargument would be that time is more of the essence for white to develop quickly and make something happen before I get all my pieces out because I should be slightly better structurally due to his knight on c3 being misplaced
@ChessCenturion thanks man makes sense i had never considered that. i'm 1450 so just learning the caro now before i try and push on. cheers great content
For Naroditsky sure, he's an incredibly good player. I think most people would play Be2 and the bishop would remain passive though whereas Danya would activate it properly later on
Thanks man, at some point I will make some really targeted courses but for now I want to focus on giving as much value for free as I possibly can because I know what it's like to crave that knowledge and information on TH-cam
Well would it help you to know my hearing didn't work properly when I was young so I didn't process sounds properly and therefore didn't say them properly? Speech therapy is great but isn't gonna fix subtle things like that. It's not lazy and I'm trying to work on it so mind your own business?
Love the Caro and you explain it well
Thanks man, make sure you check out the other videos in the Caro Kann playlist for more!
Very nice, uncomplicated, common sense game! The type of game I can never reproduce for some reason.

Need a video about tactis and calculations
Like a puzzles video?

Yeah maybe actually. Of course it didn't matter loads at that point but always good to be more precise
Which is better
Vienna gambit or london system for 1200 rated player
I'd say Vienna but I'm definitely biased lol
I'd love to see a opening course for caro kann from you, sorta like the vienna course you posted recently
Potentially mate, that one did take a while to prepare and record so we will see in the future. I am considering making a very in depth paid course for it to do it full justice though
@ChessCenturion ooo all power to you for it
Cheers man, it'll have to be mad good though ofc
@ChessCenturion I reckon you could it, make it worth the value n that

Chess is a debate in many ways so sometimes it can be useful to think of it like that :)
Ah at last the perfect game. Smashing Alex. ✨⭐🌟Chess Centurion🌟⭐✨
Haha finally bro
Nice game! 96% accuracy completely unsurprising for how clean it was
Yeah that whole Nh4 thing felt completely wrong and had to be punished somehow, the fact that knight back to f3 was the only move was pretty funny
Congrats you are almost 1700
300 to go! Been a blast so far
Great vid again mate, sorry not watched in a while been busy. I reckon you could take on sadisticTushi if you have heard of him.
That's cool bro, life is just a busy thing. I may be able to play him to be fair, my thumbnail designer actually also works for him coincidentally
@ChessCenturion What a coincidence. I think he's good but I honestly reckon you would wipe the floor with him
Haha you think? I kinda assumed he was 2200ish
@ChessCenturion he is 2200 ELO but don't mean you can't beat him mate👍 I think you could outsmart him, he tends to forget how pieces work sometimes🤣
Hahaha that seems a little hopeful XD
One suggestion is to reverse the playlist on TH-cam so that we can naturally follow your progression
Good shout I'll try to figure out how to do that lol
ur near my rapid rating rn but i usually play 10mins maybe i gotta try 15/10 to match up with you
I'm a big fan of 15/10 because it takes flagging out of the equation
theres a spelling mistake in your video "the mos educational video" must be - most
Yeah someone pointed it out in the discord, whoops 😅 fixed now
FYI be2 is not passive
Why not?
@ cuz at the end of the day the bishop will eventually have an opportunity to be active that’s what naroditsky said
For Naroditsky sure, he's an incredibly good player. I think most people would play Be2 and the bishop would remain passive though whereas Danya would activate it properly later on
you should get paid for your knowledge via courses
Thanks man, at some point I will make some really targeted courses but for now I want to focus on giving as much value for free as I possibly can because I know what it's like to crave that knowledge and information on TH-cam
@ChessCenturion🐐
I appreciate you making these videos but it does my head in when you pronounce three. It is THREE not free. It is just appallingly lazy speech.

I'm all for constructive criticism but word it a bit more politely next time
