I love Bowman Lake. Only been once as part of a trail run with @4loscompas and about 30 other rigs. Was where you guys camped on the other side of Bowman or was that Sawmill Lake. Can't wait to return.
Awesome video! I’m hoping to get up to Bowman next week for my Dads bday. Can I ask, if you had the choice between a Subaru forester with AWD and normal clearance, OR a Ford F-150 with RWD (but better clearance obviously)? Thank you for posting!
I know it's tempting, but you should keep to the beaten paths and campgrounds with your vehicles. It's not too cool to drive off the beaten paths, or into the lake. The idea is to leave as small a footprint as possible, so others can enjoy nature and not a new 4x4 track on the beach.
Basic trail etiquette. Tread Lightly: Stay on marked trails, don’t drive over vegetation, cross streams only at designated fording points where the trail crosses the stream, drive over (not around) obstacles to avoid widening the trail, and respect all signage and barriers.
That portion of the lake is commonly used as a water crossing, hundreds of not thousands of vehicles cross it yearly. So he was not off the beaten path. Just an FYI 😁
Great video, I've been camping in this areas since the early 90's, it is much more crowded these days. Maybe you can not label exactly where you are going and have other find their own adventures.
Not my best work! Just trying to shoot what I can but hope you enjoy anyway!
Yo this is great. More vids like this and actually going in the water

Did you come in from Jackson Meadows or from the west end of the lake? Trying to gauge the road between Bowman and Jackson Meadows.
Came from west end

you'll be better off with the f150 but you might need to bump it in some places. the Subaru will also make it but roughh
Great video
Always!
Sorry for the dumb question, but is that kdss or a sway bar in the rear?
It’s the kdss sway bar
Greetings , did you have to air down tires ? And do you need a 4x4 rig ? Respect
I always air down if i expect to spend more than 30 mins on dirt. 4wd is not needed but clearance is needed
@@wheeltogetouttherehow far do you typically air down to
@@Regal1999 with my setup I typically go 17
