Absolutely love this style of video Ben! I can see your creativity shining through the entire video! Thanks for sharing all your adventures! That lake is beautiful!
Amazing shots and cinematography. So much time to setup all those opening shots! Fun seeing something combining your old school tripping videos with something new with the more quiet bits. Well done!
I was there 6/19-21 and passed by a campsite with a Troopy, and I was like, "I wonder if it's that dude?" I was in a Mitsubishi Delica. Hope you had a great time! 🤙
Beautiful place! I just want to say, I appreciate all the work you put in to get some of the shots you do. Can’t imagine how many times you have to drive away just to turn around and go get the camera! Lol. Great video!
First video of yours that I watched was from 4 years ago at Bowman lake in your 4runner. I've watched every video since, cool to see you out there again.
Great vid. Glad to see you and the Troopy have seemingly recovered from the Alaskan “adventure”! Bowman Lake seems need to add to my list. Wondering what are those rear door table brackets? I’m doing a Cargo Trailer conversion and those would be ideal for my rear door.
Thank you! 🙏 definitely add it to your list if you’re ever in the area! The rear table came from GP Factor. Pretty sure you can find similar latches by searching for rotary latches. This is a micro two stage rotary latch.
well, i never thought I'll say this, but i really missed you talking. i sat down in my recliner ( sorry Ben ) with a rum and coke in hand and excitedly watched another great video. without sounding weird, you have such a kind sounding voice. Ok, enough of the mushy stuff 😅 that was one great little camp spot you found. Hope all is well with you, Bandit, and of course, the troopy. Take care and be safe out there
Haha no worries at all John, I appreciate it! Figured I’d try something new with this one, but we’ll get back to our regularly scheduled programming here soon 🙌
Totally agree! Mid-week is the way to go if you can ever swing it. Talked with a ranger on the way out who said they are redoing the trail this summer to make it more passable, so it’s just gonna get even busier
@@BenStinnett Sawmill was incredible, the trail was awesome, the mosquitos, not so awesome 🤣. It was my first time to the area and the roughest trail I've been on, thanks for the inspiration 👍
Hey Jack, it's true, the road has a few spots that are pretty gnarly. I heard from a ranger on this last trip that they are redoing the entire trail this year, and that will likely make it far more accessible.

Thank you so much Vince! It’s fun to try something new and see how it does.
Beautiful!
It really is such a gorgeous place! Thank you!
Awesome video! I thought I was going to be jam packed with all the kiddos off school. We’re going there this Friday!

Thank you so much 🙏
Great video brother!
Thanks bro! I appreciate you 🤙
So when are we doing a Troopy swap? 😜 epic video again Ben!
Haha that would be epic! 🤙

Dude I totally remember your Delica! It was such a great time! Same to you 🤙
@BenStinnett Next time I'll be sure to say "Hi!" Safe travels!

Haha thanks so much Michael. I’m tempted to make a video just from all the shots of me running back to the camera lol 😂
@@BenStinnett definitely need to see a blooper video! 😂
Very beautiful nature! Good luck Ben!
Thank you so much Adolf!

That’s so awesome. It was great to get back there! Thanks for sticking around with me through everything Mike!

@BenStinnett There was something very Zen about this video. The views spoke volumes. Nice job, Ben. 🙂
Looked like another peaceful outing! BTW - now you got me craving some chicken tendies!
Haha there’s never a bad time for some tendies! I just discovered how great they are for some quick camp meals.
Used to be my favorite area when the bridge was washed out! Way too busy since they’ve rebuilt it!

Oh dude I was just there (at sawmill lake) from the 30th to the 1st! So cool you posted a video from the same place a few days later! 🤘
Dude no way? That’s awesome. So much to do over there, I love sawmill and faucherie

Beautiful 🌲🌲🌲
Thank you so much 🙌
Classic rig you got there. Fairly rare I would think?
I’m starting to see more troopys in the states, but still kinda rare! Keeping it on the trails is a labor of love! Thanks John!
@@BenStinnett I just bought a 2024 Land Cruiser 1958. The torque (465 ft/lbs) is amazing. That pop top on your troopy makes me jelly though!
@ oh man, I’m jealous of your modern luxury + legendary Land Cruiser reliability! Enjoy it man! Maybe I’ll see you on a trail one day!
@BenStinnett Been out to Bowman many times (I'm an old climber). Cyu on the trail. :)
Awesome video, how packed was it?
Middle of the week it was pretty empty! Weekends can get super packed though!
I've been wanting to go there to camp, fish and hike but I only have an AWD and people said you need a real off-road 4x4 with high clearance.
