Static-X is making music again with a new vocalist. Ed Dope from the band DOPE is an old friend of theirs and is doing an excellent job. They did a tour and have released a new album.
Is he singing tho? I heard the new album is actually wayne singing cuz he recorded alot of stuff before he passed but i could be wrong haha
That album is Wayne's past projects with the band. They are not writing music with Edsel.
Awesome band to review Hun. Just a shame that Wayne Static is no longer with us. Although I've seen the Static X tribute band. Seen both. But the tribute band are an awesome likeness. Wayne had a very unique voice. Like Chester Bennington. So hard to replicate.
I was lucky enough to see Static-X back on the day! Wayne was a great front man.

Wayne passed away in 2014, but the band has Endso Dope singing for them now, they're still touring!!
Saw the original.lineup about 11 times. Best live shows ever. Reason I kept going. Saw Xero Static X recently still an amazing show. I'll die a Static X fan

Seen static x 5 times before Wayne died and nonce with zero and honestly the atmosphere is still the same this is a metal band every alternative needs to know and listen to and respect
The world lost Wayne Static's hair too early, I'm so glad they were able to get enough old recordings from Wayne's sessions so he was the only voice on the 2020 album Regeneration Part 1

The vibe your feeling is early 2000's kids that got beaten ad hurt for being different, I grew up in that world and was victim, so pretend as much as you want and try to listen and enjoy, but I bet you don't even know what the song is about without looking it up
One of the none-cringe bands from the nu metal era. Their "industrial" tint made them stand out. RIP Wayne, one of the coolest dudes ever. Shame Tripp Eisen ended up being a nonce, cos he's an amazing guitarist (especially with Murderdolls). Tony Campos the bassist is a really nice dude, and he's in tonnnes of bands including Nailbomb, Fear Factory, Ministry, Possessed, Soulfly and Asesino

Big fan of Static-X. This is, unfortunately, one of their worst songs. Death Trip is lights years better than anything else they did but Machine is a FANTASTIC album. It just sucks that for every "Get to The Gone", they did a "Black and White".
I disagree heavily. WDT, Machine, and Cannibal are there best work. Their latest release is up there for me. I don't mind this song. It's not as heavy as the rest of the album but it's really catchy.
Cannibal was good, yes. WDT stands out not only for the unique sound of the album, a sound which no other album replicated, but also because there is not a single mediocre, bad or otherwise shit track on the entire thing.. Machine and Cannibal are mostly good but still have some very subpar songs.
