I used to listen to listen to Bled for Days & Push It on a loop as a teen along with Type O Negative. Soundtrack of my teens....I miss those days so much. RIP Wayne & Peter. 💜💚
I’m a new Static-X fan. I had no idea Wayne died in 2014. I was really bummed to find that out. I literally became a fan after the death of the frontman. Whoever this dude is, he’s pretty good.
I seen them back in 2000 and they were unreal. In a lot of ways I feel like they stole the show at Ozzfest because they put on a hell of a show and I was an instant fan. It's sad that Wayne is no longer with us, but this dude is doing it right and doing Static-X and Wayne justice. I would absolutely see this show
He sounds amazing and i pray they stay together and make new music cause i so believe they can,RIP Wayne u where the best but we know you be proud of your band
for all who dont know Edsel Dope leave band dope and join to static x everyone can see news that Edsel Dope left band and join as i say to static x band so for who dont know this masked guy is Edsel Dope lead singer of dope band
I like it. They're keeping it about Wayne. And Xero is the man for setting his ego aside. He's got the voice for it, and could easily be getting himself attention. I got to grow up with WDT and know the history of the band, but for kids now being introduced to Static-X they'll inevitably ask about the mask and learn about Wayne. Despite his issues with drugs everyone around him seemed to love him and I've never heard a negative thing said about him. If it keeps his legacy and memory alive I see it as a net positive. Not to mention... We get to still watch Static-X
I think it's fine because xero isn't making the thing about himself. We wouldn't even know who is behind the mask if fans didn't dig trying to find out. He is filling the role and honoring Wayne. If they start putting out whole original music though I'd want him to take off the mask and just become a regular member of the band. The mask is to celebrate Wayne and his music, and shouldn't become just the gimmick for the band.
It's Edsel Dope dubbed XeroI. They auditioned a few famous voices but picked him as the best voice to sing for Wayne. It is a ode/tribute to Wayne. I'm blown away on how similar sounding it is. Not a lot of bands can pull this off. Actually, I don't think any bands could but Static X

He missed the me me me me before meaningless. Actually missed all the echoes. The echoes are part of what makes this song so good.

Is he wearing gloves while playing guitar?
Yes but it's cut on the side with his fingers so he can actually play, they made a post on Instagram about it if you wanna see
@@honkyman2869 nice i just saw the picture. Thanks man
he looks straight up taken from borderlands.
Years later I'm still not sure how I feel about the whole "wearing Wayne as an avatar" thing.
I think Wayne would dig the way they are paying homage.

I like it, and we all know the band needs a Wayne Static character, it's the best tribute to him after all.

Yeah Xero is a OG out there doing that shit for real.. the shows are sick also
Is it just me or does he sound alot like Wayne
That's the point
I feel like they use Wayne’s vocals in background, I’ve heard they use backing tracks.
We may find out the ai created his voice for the new record to fix the bad tapes they had found.

I appreciate what they're doing but it's not Static-X anymore just like Alice in Chains isn't AiC.
WTF is this??? All recorded in the background. Just listen. Dont support this crap. Live on Wayne!!!!!!!
