    I was smoking and vaping at the same time (I know great combination...LOL!). I quit the cigarettes 6 weeks ago, then quit the vaping a week ago. Obviously they are both very bad for your health, but I think that the combination of the two compounds itself. I feel like a totally different person since I quit. I was getting winded going up stairs, now I can run up them.

      @@CBQMethod I have noticed my urine has slowed down drastically over the past 5 days since I quit. My body is giving me a false sense to go to the restroom which confused me at first. Smoking dehydrates the body and when you are no longer exposing the body to nicotine it going to modify it. Have you done any research on this topic or a video that I might have over looked? Thanks your all your insight and awareness.

    I've been chewing about 10-12 4mg peices of nicotine gum for the last 5 years. it's been 2 days not chewing gum and my blood pressure is still high. Blood pressure should have dropped back to 127/70. Last 4 weeks it's been 145/85 no weight gain,nothing changed and doc did akg and Blood test and she said I'm fine. I think the nicotine gum is causing it.

    • @CBQMethod
      @CBQMethod  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, congratulations on being 2 days nicotine-free! 👏 Considering the blood pressure, nicotine increases your blood pressure, and quitting nicotine gum decreases it. If you're experiencing high blood pressure, it may not have been because of quitting nicotine gum. Have you had a stressful day, or did anything else happen? If this persists, we recommend talking to your doctor about it again.
      This video below will show you the complete list of nicotine withdrawal, how long they last and how to cope with them:

      Hi KS, congratulations on quitting smoking! Smoking affects your skin. The decrease in blood flow means that your skin isn’t receiving as much oxygen and as many nutrients as it needs to stay healthy. It can begin to look gray and dull.
      Some of the chemicals in cigarette smoke damage collagen and elastin. They’re important for your skin’s strength and elasticity. When they’re damaged, your skin begins to sag, and wrinkles become deeper.
      If you quit smoking, your health will improve. You will slow down facial aging and the appearance of wrinkles, and you will start reversing the effects smoking has on your appearance. Your skin will get more nutrients and oxygen, so you will look younger.
      This article will show you a detailed timeline of what happens to your body when you quit smoking: cbqmethod.com/what-happens-when-you-quit-smoking-timeline/

    • @CBQMethod
      @CBQMethod  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, congratulations on being 9 days vape-free! 🎉 When you stop vaping, you experience nicotine withdrawal. Withdrawal is the healing and adjusting process where nicotine and toxins leave your body, and it doesn't have to be a painful process! How you experience the withdrawal depends on your overall health, mindset, and nutrition, and it can actually be a good thing because it's a sign that your mind and body are healing. This video below explains the 6 ways you can embrace, even enjoy, the withdrawal:
      th-cam.com/video/aU2ih52nM88/w-d-xo.html
      You experience tingling in your feet/toes because more oxygen is going to your blood. This is a positive sign your blood flow is improving. However, if it persists, ask your doctor.
      If your face feels numb and you feel cold, this may not be because of quitting vaping. If you're worried about the cause of your face feeling numb and your body feeling cold, we recommend talking to your doctor about it.

      If you smoked for many hears or decades it will take a few years or a full decade to get it out of your body. Eating super healthy and working out every day will speed up the cleaning process. Any up dates would be help full ✌🏾

    It's very scary what a ciggarete, of 5 minutes of pleasure can do to your body.

    Love your videos but when saying what has "thousands of chemicals" please do not lump vaping into that. Science knows exactly what chemicals are in vaping. Many tests have been done. PG, VG, Nicotine (if it has nicotine), flavors. Vaping was the only thing that worked for me when it came to quitting smoking. Since that time I have lowered my nicotine to 0mg per ML. The other chemicals while are best to not breath in at all are food grade and have not shown any evidence of harm outside of some dehydration. My point is to be accurate in statements and not just lump vaping in with smoking as science itself doesn't back that claim up.

      @@CBQMethod Outside of the fact that those are 10 listed not thousands have you done any research as to how they got those? For example they had to heat the vape up to 300 degrees to get trace amounts of heavy metals and carcinogens. No one vapes anywhere near 300 degrees as it would fry your lungs. Diacetyl was removed from vape juice years ago and is not longer sold or used in juice. Acrolein is found in THC vape oil not nicotine ejuice and just like our veggies are sprayed with stuff you can get the oil that isnt sprayed with that stuff just like you can buy organic veggies. Again what matters is what did they have to do to the vape to produce these chemicals. Great example is a steak can be healthy, but if you char and burn that steak on a grill you now will be eating carcinogens. These details matter. Outside of ALL that again, you linked 10 chemicals found, not thousands.

      @@Gnorde Not sure what you’re showing us. The guy in the video links to two studies none of which say vaping is healthy.
      The resources linked under the video you referenced talk about 1) vaping appears to be safer than smoking - without of course regarding the decades-long studies we have about smoking compared to the very few we have about vaping: www.rcplondon.ac.uk/projects/outputs/nicotine-without-smoke-tobacco-harm-reduction and 2) vaping is a smoking cessation method: www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa1808779?query=psychiatry . Of course it is because vaping is an addiction that is physically, behaviorally and mentally identical to smoking.
      Logic says that inhaling vapor with chemicals - however many- is not the best. At the end of the day is each person’s choice on what to do but the purpose of this channel is to help those who want to be healthy and free from addiction.

      @@CBQMethod i never said vaping is healthy. My point is its irresponsible to put cigarette smoking and vaping in the same category. They both use nicotine and that's about where the similarities end. Many people have used vaping to get off cigarettes and while doing nothing is always better for some its just not in the cards to go cold turkey. I think this all or nothing approach is silly and you will get FAR fewer people off cigarettes with that mindset. Nicotine is not whats dangerous about smoking, its everything else and those things are not in vape juice.

    One must ask why? Why would cigarette manufacturers put all of those carcinogens in the cigarette? Why don't they make them without all of that?
