just use tape for your flat bottom letters and avoid the trouble of re-matching your round edges after tape removal

you be needing a second coat on your green there. here in the States we put a drop of black in your green and it gives you a better coverage.

If you mean like with the letter 'C', I would have removed a little bit of the tape for this. Then have the 'C' go slightly higher and than usual. This is normal - you can see this when you look at fonts in Microsoft word for example or any other software using fonts.
