Mmm in France there officially were a white White and a green Abbey. Probably around 1978. Have to check it on discogs. Love your videos and enthusiasm ! Keep on, please !
Great news Tone ! The rest of the information should be out by tomorrow! Hopefully a box set on the way with this white vinyl! When it rains it pours!!! Thanks Tone for keeping up all the exciting Beatles news!!! Stay excited!
You're welcome John. I have more info since making the video . It seems at the moment it is available only in the UK on National album day 19th October. So not available online but like RSD only available in record shops taking part - I hate this approach. I expect if it doesnt sell out, it will be available online after that date
I am seriously concerned they are taking fans for a ride .Who is going to press this album modern day pressings leave a lot to be desired .The albums were of their time,is white vinyl going to sound better ? Some of the remastering is very suspect .
@@Sharkbite1970 I dont understand your concern. I get it that this is something you're not interested in but there are plenty of people who collect coloured vinyl who will be. Anyone who desires this album on White vinyl for whatever reason, will not consider themselves taken for a ride because it's something they want to buy, so not need to worry about it
OMG Tone! 100% go-to for new Beatles info. I'm at work and just saw this... Had to take the time to comment - COOL. I'll have figure out how to get it in the USA -if it's not super expensive :). Hopefully analogue masters, too. Thanks for the scoop!

It does seem a little random to release A Hard Days Night in the fall for the 60th anniversary….curious to see if it’s mono or stereo and analog or digital. Let’s wait and see, thanks so much for sharing this Tone!
You're welcome Bill - yes very random and I think last minute too. I think it will be the 2009 stereo remaster which came out in 2012 on vinyl. I have more info since making the video . Great news Tony! But I have so many copies now, do I need a white one? I’ll say no. But happy for those who desire it. You look great my friend! Glad to see you feeling better! Cheers, Matt ❤️🎶🎵🍻🎼
Hi Tone, I'm glad to see that the UK has their own exclusive. It seems that on several occasions that the Beatles countrymen have gotten the short end of the stick on some of their releases. A white vinyl release of a HDN is going to be a collector's item.
Yes it definitely makes a change for their to be something exclusively for the UK although I believe that Beatles music should be for everyone always. It's a limited edition so will definitely become a collectors item in time
Do Apple 🍏 know what they’re doing? Apple 🍎 bonkers clearly on the loose! Will I buy one? If price is right, possibly… Now if it was AHDN deluxe CD / Blu-ray boxset I’d be all over it!
Well me too Andy but sadly this isnt going to be usual box set. I have more info since making the video . It seems at the moment it is available only in the UK on National album day 19th October. @@beatleytonesbeatleschannel Thanks for the additional info beatleytone. I dislike the sales approach to this release as where I live the nearest record retailer would be HMV in Edinburgh or Dundee and it’s a minimum 50 miles round trip with absolutely no guarantee of obtaining one.
In 1978 the following albums were issued, officially, for the US market the following albums from EMI (APPLE), Magical Mystery Tour parlophone label yellow vinyl, Abbey Road Apple label green vinyl, the white album white vinyl Apple label and Let it be white vinyl Apple label.
Hi Tone i saw this vid at 6am the morning after it was posted then had to go do a few things then at 9am i went on the fabs website and couldn't find anything about. as for national album day i never heard of it none the less i'll give it a miss but a boxset of all studio albums coloured i'd do my best to save for that, take care. P.S. at 10 30 today i decided to see what national album day was exactly and it started in 2018 just for uk based groups and singers, on the website there's nothing about AHDN the big album this year maybe Jeff Wayne's war of the world, Jeff's at HMV oxford street that day, but nothing about a fab's album release, now that could mean it's not a definite release or it's been cancelled altogether. Take care.
Hi mate, it's on the beatles website (UK page only) got to the STORIES tab and it's there. It's not on the NAD website yet as only announced yesterday so I guess they havent updated it yet. Id also never heard of NAD and had to look it up. I have more info since making the video . It seems at the moment it is available only in the UK on National album day 19th October. Hi Tone nice vedio clip ,glad you are looking so well ,plus nice information on white vynal A hard days night, but do you think it's like UK buses, you dont see one than you see more than one all at once ,that's how I feel this year has been 😂 with Beatles and solo Beatles related material hope to get this...plus I gave in and ordered John Lennon mind games medication. 🙄🙂keep up the good work 👍
Thanks very much Gary. im doing ok and glad you liked the video. Yes exactly like the buses here lol. Enjoy the meditation exes when they arrive my friend
Hi Tone & wow it's getting a bit crazy now with these releases & something new & unexpected is always welcome but i'd love to see a full box set of different coloured vinyl of all the UK albums & in Mono would be even better..... I know the Stones did it a couple of years ago but it is the Beatles we are talking about here & it would be a sensation if they did it!! I live in hope.
Yes I agree there would be a big market including me for a box set of coloured vinyl Stevie.I have more info since making the video . Hiya Tone, I saw this on Facebook earlier today, I actually thought it was a Mickey take, but maybe not as it turns out, think they have left it very late to announce this, but it looks nice on white vinyl, by the way a few Beatles albums have been sent on colour vinyl before magical mystery tour up to let it be in 1978, although they were classed as UK export pressing, great video as always,,, and like you say do Apple know what they are doing, Lol😊, take care my friend, cheers, Dave
Thanks for the info Dave - I dont remember these being available in the UK apart from red and blue which I have, but back then I wouldn't have wasted money on albums that I already had just because they were coloured vinyl - today is a different story lol. Anyway I have more info since making the video . It seems at the moment it is available only in the UK on National album day 19th October. Tony, cheers mate, you are looking good! As far as colored vinyl goes, The White album was released on white vinyl in the late 70s in the US. It was also released on white vinyl in Germany in the 80s. Abbey Road was released on green vinyl in the late 70s as well in the UK. Magical Mystery Tour was released on yellow vinyl in the UK, but I can't remember when exactly, but Ithink it was around the time the US lp was finally released in the UK. Sgt. Pepper was released on Grey marble vinyl in the late 70s as well in Canada. Also Sgt. Pepper was released on at least 5 different color lps In the late 70s in France. Japan issued every Beatles lp on red vinyl throughout the 60s through 80s. Initially they were 60s first pressings, but they issued two mono boxed sets of Beatles lps in '82 and again in '86 on red vinyl. There are others, but I am not on my pc, where my spreadsheets are, so I can't get more info just now. Anyway, thanks for the update, cheers me mate!
Cheers Rich , yes so many people are telling me about all the albums that have come out on colours vinyl - I am the Mayor of Wrong Town ! I was only talking about the Uk though. Im doing well thanks. you have a spreadsheet for these things? I admire this sort of geekiness 😂
@beatleytonesbeatleschannel I do indeed, it catalogs all the beatles/solo releases/bootlegs, etc. It has vinyl and digital and it includes values and release dates to the best of my ability. And don't worry if you are Mayor of Wrongtown, then I am head Selectman! I will send you a copy of my lists, you will get a kick I think, ahh the geekiness!
There were 4 U.K. albums that came out in 1978 on coloured vinyl Magical Mystery tour on Yellow , Let it Be and the white album on white and Abbey Road on Green vinyl.
Beatley and everyone, it's now on the HMV UK site National Album Day section with a notification for pre-order at a steep £39.99 and no text to say it's the existing Stereo 2012 Remaster, but it in all certainty is. The new blue US 'Meet The Beatles' vinyl LP version is also on their normal pre-order page, also at £39.99.
Yes I called my nearest HMV store to check whether they were getting it in with a view to popping along and picking it up. Got through to a central line that said its too early to know yet so call back later in the week !!
Tone just saw your video thank you for the heads up mate ! I’m in the States I’ll be upset if we don’t get an option to buy it here . Especially if it’s a 60s or 70s Mono . Since I have a UK Stereo from the 70s would love a Mono . White looks nice too but I’ll take black as well. 😊thanks Tone be well too!!!
Thanks very much Louissa. I think this is going to the 2009 stereo remaster version although mono would have made more sense. If you still want it, keep an eye on the HMV website in the UK as there should be an option to order this online from the UK. Hopefully they will ship to the States but of course that will be fairly expensive

National Album Day (NAD) is a UK only event. This year they are celebrating British Bands from All Saints to The Animals and now the Bestles. For the third year in a row Stereophonics are re-releasing one their studio albums on coloured vinyl. Most of the albums released on NAD are on coloured vinyl. Some of the NAD releases are available for pre-order, but not all of them. The other NAD release I am interested in is also not available to pre-order. In Australia the NAD albums are usually released exclusively to a particular group of chain stores. How often do you have an Aussie telling a Brit about a British record store event. I have a couple of NAD releases in my record collection. Also, I don't know if you know that on RSD Black Friday, the Beatles are re-releasing 10,000 copies of the US version of the I Want To Hold/I Saw Her Standing There 7" single to go with the Beatles 1964 US album re-releases. All My Loving is going to be released in a 3" disc version with carry case to go with miniature turntable and 4 other 3" discs released on RSD. In 1987 Australia officially released "The Beatles (White Album)" on white vinyl, "Yellow Submarine" on yellow vinyl and "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" on red vinyl. When I was 14 I bought the coloured vinyl versions of "The White Album" and "Yellow Submarine". I am kicking myself for not buying the coloured vinyl version Sgt. Pepper's, it is worth big dollars these days. I also have a feeling that Magical Mystery Tour was also released on coloured vinyl in Australia. I am not sure about the Yellow Submarine albums, but The White Album and the Sgt. Pepper's albums have also been released on coloured vinyl in other countries other than Australia. France released multiple coloured vinyl versions of Sgt. Pepper's in 1978. Japan has released all the stereo and mono albums on red vinyl multiple times over the years.
yes I knew about the RDS single - Im not interested in that. Thanks for the Aussie coloured vinyl info.Never seen any of those here. I do RSD but ive never taken part in NAD.I have more info since making the video Matthew. It seems at the moment it is available only in the UK on National album day 19th October. This really seems like someone at Apple is throwing darts at a board, and it just hit on AHDN this time. And then someone said lets make it white vinyl. The Capitol box vinyls was the last dart to hit. The Red and Blue with extra songs was out of left field dart hit. Wow! Anyway, I do love the Beatles, and any release is great...but it seems like someone has told them to release as much as possible and as soon as possible. 😮 Tone, you're looking good. Keep doing what you are doing. Thanks for the great video, and I can't wait to see your "Does Apple know what they are doing" video. 😊
Tone, National Album Day has been around for a while, its a bit of a poor mans RSD - I have picked up most of the Kirsty McColl back catalogue on vinyl through NAD releases. I assume the reason you can't pre-order the Beatles LP on line and there is no price, is because one has to buy it from a participating shop on the day and the shop will set the price too. I stand to be corrected, but I think NAD is only a British thing as it is linked to the BBC as they link some of their programming to it. Good to see you looking well. Keep up the good work. Russell.
Yeah I had to look it up Russell - it has completely passed me by up until now (not a big fan of RSD either) . Love Kirsty - I think I have pretty much everything but all on CD. Yes you are right about why you cant pre-order . I have more info since making the video . It seems at the moment it is available only in the UK on National album day 19th October. Hi Tone Saw the announcement. Interesting. Also there is a Black Friday 7” single I want to hold your hand with I saw her standing there. I believe the white album was released on white vinyl at some point . Have seen copies
Hi Edward , I saw the RSD single news too - Im not really interested in that as those tracks will be on the UK albums Ive ordered. Yes people have mentioned the white, white album as well as yellow MMt and red Pepper . Ive never seen any of those in all these years here - they must be rare
Late 70s coloured vinyl limited editions happened...now uber rare and sought after...Yellow MMT album/ Green Abbey Road/ White Let It Be/ White -white album/ Red (Double red 62-66 -not so rare)/Blue 67-70 - also not as rare....were all official releases...Why didn't I buy them at the time!!! I remember seeing them...saw a Yellow MMT in a record Fayre 20 years ago for £65...so would expect them to be in the £400 area now

Brilliant video Tone (You're looking very well), I'd of preferred A Hard Days Night box set or even A Hard Days Night/Long Tall Sally/Beatles For Sale box set. It has been a disappointing year with this announcement and US Mono 1964 albums set and all on vinyl only.
Hi there my friend... You know I did her about this one .... mmmm lol now I do need to give a think how I am going to get this :). And as you know I do love colored vinyl :)!!! Let it Be was issued by EMI on white vinyl and Magical Mystery tour was issued by EMI on Yellow vinyl many years ago, both in the UK. EMI in France released Sgt Pepper and Help both in various colored vinyl editions.
I believe all of The Beatles’ albums were released on color vinyl in France in the 70s. Either way, I do have a Dutch pressing of Sgt. Pepper’s on yellow vinyl from around 1979. I believe it used the same stampers as the Dutch Blue Box and sounds really nice.
It might be legal issues on expiring copyrights on recordings or publishings which can be renewed by re-releasing the music. In the US theres the 50 year rule which is supposed to be within a year before or after.
The 50 year copyright rule applies in the Uk and US but AHDN has been issued several times within the last 50 years, the last time in 2012 so I doubt that is the reason.
I got Deirdre's 60th Anniversary Hard Day's Night stereo remix and where it isn't all that revealing, it sounds excellent. I've always wanted a stereo remix of George Martin's extended edit of I'll Cry Instead, however.

Im 'assuming' here the national album day could be like record store day which only releases editions for that day in limited quantities. So that means that ahdn white vinyl would not be offered on the website.

The " white Album" definitely came out on white vinyl. Apparently the sound quality was excellent. And of course the Japanese pressed LPs on red vinyl. ps, if it's the stereo version of the UK HDN it will include Paul's vocal gaff unless it's been fixed somehow for this release.
@@beatleytonesbeatleschannel The white album was indeed released on white vinyl. I think it was in the late 70s. I still have my copy. Maybe it was only released in the US. They sound ok, but I wouldn’t say they’re any better than black vinyl. I’ve got a purple Capitol label from ‘78 and a German DMM variant from ‘85, too. There’s UK and French white vinyl pressings from ‘78, as well.
That day might be the Record Store Day over here in the US. On Record Store Day the record companies release various new titles or old releases that are new again. That is the only thing I can think of.
National album day is something that HMV do as a response to record store day black friday you will only get this from hmv, there is no pre order it will prob cost about 40 quid

Thanks for passing on the announcement, Tone! Also, it's great having you doing regular videos again!! Regarding your belief that, up until this announced LP, there has never been an original Beatles catalog (1963-1970) album released on coloured vinyl: I have a legit British STEREO White Album reissue that was pressed (appropriately!) on white vinyl. The package does NOT indicate a year on it, other than the original 1968 release. I will snoop around to try to determine what year it may have come out.
Thanks for the info Mike - others have also corrected me and if they are right, the white, white album came out in 1978.I have more info since making the video . The Beatles were recording on 4-track tape by 1964, so there were legitimate stereo mixes. A 60th Anniversary re-issue of the "A Hard Day's Night" sounds great, especially in stereo. In the U.S., United Artists chopped up the original U.K. version and turned the album into a traditional movie soundtrack album. None of the Beatles songs were in stereo and only George Martin's score was in stereo. Maybe if they wanted to do a deluxe 60th anniversary release they might make it a 2-LP set with both stereo and mono versions of the album.
National Album Day is a thing in UK only where albums are released with colour variants or maybe an album that hasn’t been on vinyl for some time. If I remember right, it’s normally only British/Irish artists 🤔🤔🤔

Hi Beatley Tone hope you are doing well, thanks for the news, I’m not sure about this HDN launch if they are not remixing it and it’s a relaunch of an existing mix but on coloured vinyl smells like a bit of a money grab to me and taking advantage of the enthusiastic fan base. We will have to wait and see but if they launch a set of the remixed mono and stereo versions on coloured vinyl then that would be really cool and I would be very interested. Take care 🙂
Im doing well thanks Andrew. No new music here or any difference musically from the 2009 remasters on Cd or 2012 vinyl remaster issue. So really this is just for anyone who likes collecting coloured vinyl issues
No I used to be a big fan in the mid 90s but their decline was sharp after morning Glory and stoped buying their stuff after Heathen chemistry. I do like Pretty Green stuff though. Well done for nabbing a ticket, Im sure it will be brilliant (as long as they stick to the early stuff lol)
Tone, I have Abbey Road on green vinyl. Bought it when it came out in about 1978. Official UK release. I seem to remember a Sergeant Pepper picture disc coming out at about the same time but I'm not 100% sure on that.

A little weird, but i'm not 100% sure the Beatles site showing its the stereo version on the graphic will actually be the stereo version... The Help 180g vinyl Album graphic on the Beatles UK site shows a picture of the album with a compact disc logo on it, so you never know what it might be until theres some blurb on it!
good spot but I think the graphic comes from the National album day web site rather than beatles.com - they've just used it, so not sure what to read into that Paul .I have more info since making the video . I may go for it Tone as I stupidly got rid of most of my Beatle vinyl and only have started to buy it again. As an unrelated matter, do you thing the old Beatle monthly magazine will be reissued ? Maybe put together into a coffee table tome.
I dont know about the Beatles Monthly. I collected them all when they started reprinting them in 1976 but I havent heard of any plans to reprint them again, sorry. Maybe have a look on ebay maybe someone is selling the whole collection or ones that you are missing
So cool a UK reissue Would love to get a copy Yea - no rhyme or reason for this release- not Rubber Soul not Capitol 1964 - zero consistently Thanks for sharing reaction

Well that's a surprise! Hopefully it's the stereo version, so I won't feel bad about giving it a miss. I mean, it's almost certainly the same pressing as the currently available vinyl release, just in white instead of black.
Let it be and the white album were both released on white vinyl by EMI in the UK in the 70's, and a lot of the records were released on red vinyl in japan in the 60's
@beatleytonesbeatleschannel not particularly, they always come up on discogs but aren't cheap.. I just want to know why the fascination with white... let it be, was white, as was the white album (although I can understand that).. but I think AHDN should have Been blue
@@suffolkaudiophile They are not really something im interested in because vintage coloured vinyl generally sounds terrible. Agree navy blue would be the right colour for this
Tony whats really strange is no pre order links and its out in 2 weeks! What id like to know is it proper stereo or mono ( i know it says stereo on the picture but we cant trust stock photos...is it from the master analogue tapes or just digital stereo mix to vinyl like the 2009 release. Has giles had his hands on it? Many questions! Hope we get answers!
I believe it will just be the 2009 stereo remastered vinyl that we got in 2012 just on white vinyl this time but this is not confirmed. Im not sure that is a stock photo because it shows the white vinyl with parolophone label (could be photoshopped of course) . I have more info since making the video . It seems at the moment it is available only in the UK on National album day 19th October. So not available online yet but like RSD only available in record shops taking part - I hate this approach. I expect if it doesnt sell out, it will be available online after that date and maybe available online at HMV to pre-order as they are connected in some way to NAD.

Aw damn, from the headline I thought we were going to get a remixed box set. It's ridiculous that they have let the 60th anniversary to A Hard Day's Night slide past without fanfare but the 60th anniversary of their first visit to the USA gets a re-release of the first batch of substandard US compilations.
I agree with you except the American releases are an important part of history..if you weren’t a kid in 1964..it would be hard to understand the importance of releasing these capital albums..keep in mind we had cheap record players and wore out those albums listening to substandard recordings but for the time we didn’t know any different and it was so exciting..but in today’s world of modern technology..you are right in wanting a top remix of ADHD…happy listening my friend 😊
@@DouglasMoreland-qd5cz Fair comment. Except that here in the UK, they mean very little to us and certainly have little historical value, so they're really not an essential purchase in the way that a box set of A Hard Day's Night would be. And a point of pedantry: the US did not get substandard recordings - they got the same recordings and mostly the same mixes as the UK got. But it was Dave Dexter's shonky mastering that makes the Capitol releases substandard. He mastered everything between Meet The Beatles and the US Rubber Soul - basically what appeared on the Capitol Albums Volumes 1 and 2 CD sets which came out a decade or so ago. I understand that these are the sound of American Beatlemania, but they really only have curiosity value here.
@@DouglasMoreland-qd5cz I didnt grow up with the US albums but are getting them next month because Ive never owned them but a continuation of the remix project would have been better
I have a legitimate white vinyl version of the white album that was released in the US around the same time as the original red and blue albums were released in colored vinyl.
So that would be 1978 I guess Susan. Ive also been told there was a Yellow MMT, a red Pepper and a green Abbey Road. Ive never seen any of these here - they must be very rare these days
Tone I hope this is not instead of a future boxset ? I'm on the fence with this one , luckily my mate a few months ago gifted me a original mint copy mono pressing he bought back in the 60s, I couldn't believe my luck 60 year old vinyl and you think it was bought yesterday, but a white vinyl I may get it , as long it doesn't go for stupid money like 60 or 70 pounds.

Take care.

Tone,
National Album Day has been around for a while, its a bit of a poor mans RSD - I have picked up most of the Kirsty McColl back catalogue on vinyl through NAD releases.
Russell.

It might be legal issues on expiring copyrights on recordings or publishings which can be renewed by re-releasing the music. In the US theres the 50 year rule which is supposed to be within a year before or after.
That's a good point!
The 50 year copyright rule applies in the Uk and US but AHDN has been issued several times within the last 50 years, the last time in 2012 so I doubt that is the reason.

The Beatles are turning into Paul McCartney MPL. Having all these color vinyl and variants 😂. Whatever Beatles related I’ll get man. I love them. They bring me happiness. I pre ordered the Meet The Beatles Color Vinyl exclusively from Target! Hopefully they have it here in the US! Take care!
Thanks Rick .
@@beatleytonesbeatleschannel Thanks for the info. Hope they make plenty.
@@BeatleRick84 you're welcome
The " white Album" definitely came out on white vinyl. Apparently the sound quality was excellent.
And of course the Japanese pressed LPs on red vinyl.
ps, if it's the stereo version of the UK HDN it will include Paul's vocal gaff unless it's been fixed somehow for this release.
yes so everyone keeps telling me. Ive never seen any Beatles albums on colour vinyl here except the red and blue. Cheers Philip
@@beatleytonesbeatleschannel The white album was indeed released on white vinyl. I think it was in the late 70s. I still have my copy. Maybe it was only released in the US.
You're looking better with every video, Tone! More energy, more colour in your cheeks. Stay on the path to recovery, we're all with you!!
@@alanlinfield8207 Thanks Alan. Im feeling very good at the moment.
RSD this year I believe is November 30th Richard
Thanks for explaining what Record Store Day is 😂
National album day is something that HMV do as a response to record store day black friday you will only get this from hmv, there is no pre order it will prob cost about 40 quid
It's not just HMV My local indie shop will have 50 copies
Not just HMV but they are attached- the BBC are also a sponsor. I have more info since making the video . It seems at the moment it is available only in the UK on National album day 19th October. A very odd release too and thank you for telling us about this Tone. If it is right and depending on the price I may get this one as the white vinyl looks nice. Also my nephew has given me his record deck as he has bought a new one. So now I can play vinyl through my sound bar in the living room and turn up the volume 😅😅😅😅

@beatleytonesbeatleschannel thanks for the update and that is a disappointment only available at records stores. I am sure i will be able to get then but will see what record stores stock it. Like you say if it doesn't sell well it could be offered online 🤞🤞🤞🤞
Great! More songs we already have! Where is Waterspout... the world wonders.
No just the Uk wonders. it's not available anywhere else
A mi me parece un disco fundamental en la historia de los Beatles.
Hi Tone , will you be getting the 60th Anniversary reissue of a hard days night on 180g white vinyl
For National Album Day ? I hope to purchase it , but it’s available to buy from 08.00 am on Saturday 19th October , that’s when I start work .
Yeah I managed to get one - went down to HMV this morning before they opened. Hope you manage to get one John despite work.
Maybe if they wanted to do a deluxe 60th anniversary release they might make it a 2-LP set with both stereo and mono versions of the album.
and some out takes would be nice for the deluxe too
National Album Day is a thing in UK only where albums are released with colour variants or maybe an album that hasn’t been on vinyl for some time. If I remember right, it’s normally only British/Irish artists 🤔🤔🤔
yes I had to look it up Matthew. Im not sure if its always just Uk bands but this year it's promoting British bands only. I have more info since making the video . There was a red Sgt Pepper once back in the day
National Album Day is much promoted on HMV's website (I think it's a bit of a "RSD? What's RSD?" response). If this _is_ coming out, it isn't on the list of releases there yet.

i have a white White Album, Blue Blue and Red Red all from 1978. I believe there were also color versions of Let It Be and Abbey Road
None of these were available in the Uk except red and blue
I hope you do a stream with Larry Graves from Canada.
I havent done one will Larry for a while but when he invites me I will David
The original Yellow Submarine was released on yellow vinyl in the 90s in Australia. White album on white vinyl. Sgt pepper on red all 90s in Australia
Yeah, and? Gimmix mate, nothing but gimmix and not worth aa toss.
These were actually released in the 80s to coincide with their 20th anniversaries and first release on CD
That's great 👍 Hope it will be like Revolver box set with mono album. BFS deserves box set treatment with mono album!
yes both deserve the box set treatment but sadly this is not that
Love the Pretty Green top Tone. Are you going to any of the Oasis gigs? I'll be going to Wembley
I have both of those on picture disc from around that time but I've never seen the coloured vinyl versions here- probably not looking hard enough
Another unexpected release but this is my favorite early album so will pick this up.

I didn't know it was exclusive to UK stores so thanks for that information.
@@MrSailorsam You're welcome mate
A little weird, but i'm not 100% sure the Beatles site showing its the stereo version on the graphic will actually be the stereo version... The Help 180g vinyl Album graphic on the Beatles UK site shows a picture of the album with a compact disc logo on it, so you never know what it might be until theres some blurb on it!
good spot but I think the graphic comes from the National album day web site rather than beatles.com - they've just used it, so not sure what to read into that Paul .I have more info since making the video . Where is the Remixed version of the album for general release?
It's coming but this isnt it . Maybe a couple of years
I may go for it Tone as I stupidly got rid of most of my Beatle vinyl and only have started to buy it again.
I have a White Album on white vinyl from the 1980s. I have Sgt. Pepper's on picture disk.
German White Album? I’ve got one from ‘85.
I have the pepper and abbey road picture discs from the late 70s - awful sounding records aren't they
So cool a UK reissue
Would love to get a copy
Yea - no rhyme or reason for this release- not Rubber Soul not Capitol 1964 - zero consistently
Thanks for sharing reaction

Well that's a surprise! Hopefully it's the stereo version, so I won't feel bad about giving it a miss. I mean, it's almost certainly the same pressing as the currently available vinyl release, just in white instead of black.
Yes im pretty sure it will be the same as the 2012 version but on white vinyl
Let it be and the white album were both released on white vinyl by EMI in the UK in the 70's, and a lot of the records were released on red vinyl in japan in the 60's
Yes so everyone keeps telling me. In all these years I've never seen any so im guessing they must be very rare
I got the ultra rare black vinyl pressing.
😂me too
National album day I believe is like record store day. They had that day only in uk. I could be wrong about this. So be mindful of that.

Tone I just read where hard days night white vinyl is not going to have a preorder and only available to buy on national record day
Aw damn, from the headline I thought we were going to get a remixed box set.
Yes I agree, a 1964 box with AHDn and BFS included would have been perfect this year. I will be doing a video on Apples failings next week Dougie
@@DouglasMoreland-qd5cz I didnt grow up with the US albums but are getting them next month because Ive never owned them but a continuation of the remix project would have been better
Omg. I can’t keep up with all the new releases. Nice problem to have !
I had The White Album on White Vinyl in 1981 Tone was a legit copy on Apple 🍎
People have been telling me this since I posted the video Keith. Ive never seen one here
I have a legitimate white vinyl version of the white album that was released in the US around the same time as the original red and blue albums were released in colored vinyl.
So that would be 1978 I guess Susan. Ive also been told there was a Yellow MMT, a red Pepper and a green Abbey Road. Ive never seen any of these here - they must be very rare these days
There was a white vinyl edition of The White Album in 1978 I believe.
So im told Duncan. never seen one myself
Is this the start of all beatles vinyls coming out in different colours who knows b,f,n, Charles
No I dont think this is instead of the box set - hopefully that will still come at some point. Great stuff re your gifted mono Charles.I have more info since making the video . 10th an of the 'White Album' in white vinyl?
Hey T how you feeling my friend I'm tired of app playing with our heads.
Im feeling good atm thanks Louis . I will be covering Apple's failings in a video coming this week
There is a white vinyl white album. I have it.
White Album was issued on White Vinyl in the 1970s
A Hard Day's Night merrited a boxset with both mono and stereo versions. Outtakes and demos would have been welcome.
And it will get one Robert but this isnt it. Might be a couple of years but it will come

off the top of your head - Oh John you're such a geek 😂 In my defence I did say the UK core albums but clearly I have had my head up my arse as I have never come across any of the core albums in the wild, on coloured vinyl except the red and blue. . Im doing well thanks John. Loving the book btw, struggling to find time to get through it but I will find the time and give you a shout soon mate
My vote would be blue vinyl for A Hard Day's Night. White vinyl for Revolver would have been perfect
I agree Edward . makes sense to keep the coloured vinyl colour in line with the sleeve design like the 2017-19 Paul McCartney coloured vinyl issues
