Realizing that I’ve past your farm many times in the 30 + years that I was trucking. 🚛🚚 The young men did an awesome job and glad they are wanting to try new steps on the farm.
Ha! Were you still trucking when they built the "new" 4-lane portion of RT35? If you remember, it went down to two lanes just past that bridge. It is pretty much all 4-lane now all the way to Charleston, WVa!
Great harvest and some nice yields for a normal year, hopefully the inflationary pressures on fuel and chemicals don’t eat into it too bad. Enjoyed the video, takes me back to my youth working harvest.
You gave your son and nephew a great object lesson putting them in the grain cart and combine. You allowed them the opportunity to understand in a fashion how when you are flying a KC135 and transferring fuel to another aircraft at 30,000 ft flying in extremely close formation
The boys did a great job for there first time. I know your a proud father and uncle seeing them working together. I’m praying your family will have a great harvest with next to no breakdowns. God bless America!
hmm, I'm thinking, by your title, there most likely will be some farming in your videos. The flying part is just a bonus. Your boys done good. I won't get into how I did the first time I pulled up to the combine but, the old man wasn't happy with how the auger looked when I was done. You keep putting out those videos and teaching those young men how to be the best at whatever they do.
It's harvest time on the farm so I guess there's going to be quite a few more farming videos. I can't speak for everyone else but I love anything that has an engine in it. I'm actually subscribed to a few other farming channels and love them. As always thanks for taking the time to bring us along because I know it's a whole lot of extra work on you.
Our corn here is going to be probably the best corn.. sorry, no we are confident that this will be the best corn harvest ever. We sprayed for fungus and so were getting the full ear of corn this time. And the results are outstanding. We took a 1 row cut and we were full. That was remarkable. So we're excited. Today were harvesting
The best part was that they had already made up their minds that they were going to do it. Didn't ask Van or me.The only reason I knew to get the camera out was because Luke told me to get the drone out! I was glad to be able to capture it on video!

Yeah, we are fortunate to have a decent crop to help absorb the increased input costs!

We've only had a grain cart for a couple years, so everyone here is learning how to operate it efficiently.
