My name is Rod Jones. I'm a 5th generation farmer and KC-135 pilot in the Ohio Air National Guard.
I was Active Duty Air Force for 16 years and have been with the Ohio Air National Guard for 4 years.

I'm a GA pilot myself with friends who fly for the Nebraska 155th ARW so the aviation part is what drew me in. But I am absolutely fascinated by the farming videos and love that as well. You have found a great balance that doesn't seem right, but certainly works! Great job, great videos and a great American family!! Keep 'em comin'!

Great harvest and some nice yields for a normal year, hopefully the inflationary pressures on fuel and chemicals don’t eat into it too bad. Enjoyed the video, takes me back to my youth working harvest.
Yeah, we are fortunate to have a decent crop to help absorb the increased input costs!
You gave your son and nephew a great object lesson putting them in the grain cart and combine. You allowed them the opportunity to understand in a fashion how when you are flying a KC135 and transferring fuel to another aircraft at 30,000 ft flying in extremely close formation

Ha! Were you still trucking when they built the "new" 4-lane portion of RT35?
If you remember, it went down to two lanes just past that bridge. It is pretty much all 4-lane now all the way to Charleston, WVa!

Our corn here is going to be probably the best corn.. sorry, no we are confident that this will be the best corn harvest ever. We sprayed for fungus and so were getting the full ear of corn this time. And the results are outstanding. We took a 1 row cut and we were full. That was remarkable. So we're excited. Today were harvesting

hmm, I'm thinking, by your title, there most likely will be some farming in your videos. The flying part is just a bonus. Your boys done good. I won't get into how I did the first time I pulled up to the combine but, the old man wasn't happy with how the auger looked when I was done. You keep putting out those videos and teaching those young men how to be the best at whatever they do.

We've only had a grain cart for a couple years, so everyone here is learning how to operate it efficiently.
The way I see it, one of the reasons you fly is so you and your fellow farmers can do what you do in peace. Both pursuits are as American as apple pie. Keep on keepin' on!

The best part was that they had already made up their minds that they were going to do it. Didn't ask Van or me.The only reason I knew to get the camera out was because Luke told me to get the drone out!

It's harvest time on the farm so I guess there's going to be quite a few more farming videos. I can't speak for everyone else but I love anything that has an engine in it. I'm actually subscribed to a few other farming channels and love them. As always thanks for taking the time to bring us along because I know it's a whole lot of extra work on you.
