As always, thank you for sharing your views on this topic. 😊 Same as you, I enjoy relearning things that I learned almost 50 years ago with my granddaughter. Reading new chapter books to her is also fun, and brings back memories of reading to her mommy. ❤ I love listening to her perspective and that she bounces her own ideas off of me. I also like seeing a sometimes hard concept finally click and she now understands. I do not like how she drags her feet at times about doing her work rather than trying to finish it and move on with my day. For that, I have adopted a weekly schedule and planner for her so she knows ahead of time what she needs to do for her learning that week. I see it does well for you and a couple of others. Now that my granddaughter is 10, I believe she will benefit from this. 🤞
I love seeing my daughters progress in learning. When looking back it’s so exciting to see how much she has learned and how much more independent she has become.
Yes yes yes! More time together, enjoyjng public places without crowds, more rest, meeting educational needs!

Thank you for sharing! Yes I think having a schedule really helps the kids be prepared for what comes next and makes transitions easier.

Thank you for sharing! I don’t think we realize in the moment how much we’re doing, but when we look back it really is amazing
Love this! I agree with all of the amazing benefits you mentioned
We are working on improper fractions. I have a love hate relationship with them.
