Sometimes milos raps just sound like babbling to me because his use of language is so advanced and every bar is abstract so I really can't understand what he's saying, yet it's so satisfying and it puts me in a space where I'm simply content
I NEED MORE OF HIS SHIT!!!!!! I wish my brother rob was here, so the flies don't come and milo takes baths are some of the deepest rap albums ever. Wish I could see him live in Canada.
Well, they're both in my top two, with no further exceptions. I'll tell you that much. But So the Flies don't Come has a weird beauty that resonates with me more. Its sound is a lot more sharp and simple, and it's -a shorter- a more succinct project all together . I'll admit, Milo gets pretty heady with a lot of his references, more so than I could claim to get. But there's a sincerity about it that I like. He's been that way and continues to be that philosophizing lyricist on artsy beats. As for TPAB, I think hindsight has shown us all that it was a just a single foray into the unusual for Kendrick, at least sonically. And so, his album now comes off comparatively more contrived, at least to me.
zensei999 As much as I love Milo, I have to press you to expand! Homeboy Sandman, Noname, just a few examples! If you ever feel that way, keep searching!

Just wait till you listen to aesop rock
Alan Dood read more. I promise his songs are way more beautiful when you can understand what he's saying.
I love how you can listen to them over and over again and still little splashes of meaning you never caught before appear within the verses

2:24 track name?
Nom de Rap
whats the song from 2:26?
For me, So the Flies Don't Come was the only rap album last year with replay value.
It is such a beautiful experience, also listen to Do What Thou Wilt by Ab-Soul also dropped last year and is amazing as well :)
Have you heard Atrocity Exhibition? And stfdc didn't come out last year btw.
I just realized what I said. Stfdc was the only rap album I was interested in listening to last year is what I meant.
