i'm really picky about rap, but when i learned about this Milo dude, and he lives in Wisconsin also? that is so cool! i'm so bored with most rap these days, bunch of trappers with nothing to say except boasting about how hard, rich, and sexist they are, but this dude Milo is so heady and artistic, it's awesome.
@@jamilnichols1558 whoa this reply is old, sorry about that, don't know how i missed it long ago, but i'll revive this now. no, it has nothing to do with race, comrade, i just don't care much about unironic displays of promoting abuse and exploitation of others. there's a lot of rap that, while i am not necessarily a fan of, i have a lot of respect for, between the likes of Kendrick Lamar for his ability to create compelling stories with his albums, to people like Juice WRLD (rest in piece), who expanded the hip hop scene with a more R&B inspired melodic trap sound with emotional lyrics. i'm sorry if i sounded too flippant when i originally made my first comment, i don't mean to disrespect hip hop or anything, i just personally gravitate to certain sounds and lyrics when it comes to rap.
@@Utomneian3 years again but important to note that the critique of what you said was not because you don't appreciate other categories of rap, but because the category you described implies that people's experiences can be boiled down to negative "promotion" or "display" of bad things instead of acknowledging expression even in forms that you view as shallow or destructive In this interview when Rory said some people referring to art rap is cool and some people saying it is like "eugh", you referring to his as specifically artistic and pitting it against the kind you can only manage to view as nothing more than the negative aspects you notice is exactly the distinction that is not cool, because you view that kind of rap is nothing but hostile
Diogo Paciência yeah this was my first time using this mic. Milo turned out super quiet so I had to amplify the audio quite a bit. Hence the background noise
Ivan A. H yup, we all have our quirks. There's something about going from one question to the next without some sort of phrase that just feels awkward af. Believe me it makes me cringe more than anyone---- Toasty
Hope you enjoyed the interview, got more great interviews coming. Don't Be A Scrub, Don't Forget to Sub! Also, thoughts on Who Told You to Think?

Owen Bochner Thank you. Appreciate the kind words :)
Milo is amazing! Very underrated, nice interview, you should get a better mic or learn how to control that mic better though, but good shit!
Diogo Paciência yeah this was my first time using this mic. Milo turned out super quiet so I had to amplify the audio quite a bit. Hence the background noise
Hip-Hop Made Me Do It! Oh, ok, good stuff, man, you should definitly interview more underrated rappers!
Diogo Paciência definitely just always trying to give spotlight to any dope MC's. Who else should I check out/try to interview?
Hip-Hop Made Me Do It! Getting them on here would probably be tougher but Id love to see a Homeboy Sandman interview or a Quelle Chris interview
I actually already did a Homeboy Sandman Interview. You can check it out here: th-cam.com/video/tymN9vvWvl8/w-d-xo.html
Milos the shit,Scallops hotel is the better name tho
the way this interviewer says “awesome” and “i’m curious” after everything milo says is frustrating
