Sorry for dropping off the face of the earth these past months. I’ve been struggling a lot with my mental health and it got to a bad point. Sometimes it just gets to be too much and hard to put a face on for the camera so needed to take some time for myself and find a new happiness and figure myself out. Kinda cliché to say but everything is just so much brighter now. I haven’t been this Happy in so long I forgot what it felt like. It’s not easy to reach out and talk about mental health but it is so worth it. Luckily I was able to reach out to close friends of mine and they helped me through it. Please make an effort if you’re ever in a dark spot in life. You are never a burden, you are worth a lot in someone heart even if it doesn’t feel like it in the moment. ❤️ Thank you all! More videos to come and a whole new Zach that I’m excited about 🤙🏼 Love you all!
Glad you are starting to feel better. I think you are lowballing yourself. $49,999 is probably closer to the right price. Your time is more valuable than that.
I agree with this group. That a $50k boat. Don’t under estimate your time you have in the boat. You should be paying yourself a fair amount for the time and effort you have in it. Love the boat man! Thanks for keeping us entertained.
Reiterating what everyone's saying, practically new and entirely one-of-a-kind, $50k is a legitimate starting point. Especially knowing prices recently! The buyer can also watch its construction from start to finish, qualming any worries they may have about quality.
So nice to hear your back . I am a 55 year old that is just in awww of your work . who came acrossed your channel and love what you do so keep up the great work you do! there are more people out here like me that love what you do just remember that.
have missed your videos but am glad to hear you took time for yourself...we will all be here when you're ready. hope you're on the mend and look forward to seeing more of your content as and when..
Zach, so glad you're back - but more importantly, that so glad that you're taking care of yourself. Thanks for the courage in sharing your struggles, and know that you are not alone. Keep using your talents and being an inspiration to many, young and old!
So glad you're back and and even happier you're feeling better. Your channel is by far my favorite one. Me and my friends often discuss your builds around the campfire. Appreciate the content, keep up the great work you do. Us Canadians need this content to watch during the cold winters while we wait and dream of the pending summer. Cheers
Love the build! I agree with the comments below. You're lowballing your work. That boat is worth at least 50K. Glad your feeling better. Really enjoy your videos. Your skills are impressive.
Hang in there, I did when I was your age and I am still around in my sixties. I am sometimes happy, sometimes sad but always looking forward to what tomorrow brings.
I recently bout a pontoon and decided to go tri-toon as well..I decided to go with carbon fiber instead of aluminum, that way I can add some things to increase the overall appearance of the boat while keeping it lighter in the process.. I'm also doing a 2/3 length canopy top in which half of it would be solor panels that charges the solor generator and the other half of the canopy is for sunbathing and for a slide.... A floorboard compartment in the middle pontoon will house the solar generator that will help keep the battery charged and well power a 32in TV, a custom made ceiling fan, some LEDs, light bars/headlights and taillights equipped with signal lights...It's gonna be epic 😂 Oh by the way I admire the hard work you put into your build it turned out amazing..The black probably really pops in the sunlight
45'000 would be a nice listing price. This is a great boat, would love to have it, but I have other stuff to care about :) You are a really great person, great to see you back.
It is a year later now. I would guess the value at 45 to 50K. I appreciate the work you put into your builds, and your humility. I’m in SoCal, we don’t have lakes. The closest decent lake is Lake Mead, 5 hours away. But I would love to do a project like this. Very distressed pontoons start at 15K out here.
That boat is worth 40k I've followed the build and am currently rebuilding my 27ft Sweetwater. I've used your videos for ideas and motivation. Keep up the good work. 👍
I was glad to see this pop up! I purchased a 1999 pontoon, my first boat, and it needs a re-fresh. I have learned a lot watching you work on yours and helped me understand the scope of work, resources for parts, and rough cost estimates. I have seen other comments on your videos about how you inspire, take on and finish cool projects, and help others along the way. Many people will say all the wrong things, but you are a brave soul to put it out there on YT and show what you like and what you are capable of. Good job my friend, and carry on.
Hey man, just finished completely rebuilding my pontoon and want to thank you for the inspiration and confidence to get it done. Even on cold and rainy days, I'd watch your videos to keep me driven. Lol.
Based on the materials and labor hours I would value this at closer to $50,000 but ultimately it is what the customer is offering and you agree to for the price. Nice video series. I was hooked from the first episode and binged all of the episodes in a row.
Hi brother I agree with the the one 55 yr old guy I'm 54 and I'm amazed at you skills, hard work, and designs !! Great work young man I'm proud of you keep up the great work !!
Glad to have you back. Sometimes you need a break from yourself let alone the pressure of having to deliver to a waiting audience. I hope you find joy in your projects. Though your friends are the first people you instinctively turn to, please consider reveiving (continuing to receive) professional counseling.
Awesome job on this boat as always with your builds. $40,000 is a bargain for this boat. Boats are crazy high right now and a newish boat with all of these features would be $60 - $80 K. Cant wait to see what you will do next!
Zach, I think the boat came out fantastic and considering that it's like 85% new, your ask in right in line compared to market. Glad you took some time for yourself and that you have friends that were able to help you through the fog. Glad your back!
So glad to see you making videos again! But more happy that you are in a better spot now. It's definitely a process, and I'm glad you were able to take some time for yourself.
I have followed this project from the beginning. It was a large undertaking for one person. You did a steller job. Are there things I disagree with? Sure but you know what? iT WASN'T MY PROJECT IT WAS YOURS! Awsome job all the way around. When I hear about the negative comments it always surprises me a little bit as I don't read what other people say. Plus I am not on the other media outlets. I suspect they are mostly viewed by a younger, ruder, and less educated people. Sorry to hear about the mental difficulties. I suspect it was pushed along by the media you were reading and taking to heart. That is a problem with the platforms. When you ask for comments you will not always get the comments you are looking for. To be honest here I have been guilty of some negative comments on your channel as well. I apoligize. You see we all carry around demons that get the better of us. I hope to see you on more in the future. I have missed your honest work ethic and your sensabile style of your projects. The VW wasn't my cup of tea but again, it was your project and your finnished product turned out splendid! Keep up the good work and I hope to see you around again real soon!
I think you are being WAY more than fair in your pricing Zack. You put a lot of your sweat and heart into it and that's worth something! If you were out west here, you'd EASILY get over $50K for it. Keep up the great work! Always look forward to your projects/vids! And thank goodness you were able to lean on those around you for help. It is priceless!!! ❤
We can tell from your videos that you put a lot of pride in your rebuilds and your videos. That sort of passion (from my experience) requires one to be very critical of yourself, eventually never accepting less than 110% in everything you do. Eventually all that energy and self examination will wear you down. You were right to step away for a bit and find your new emotional center.
I love from the bottom of my heart everything you do from your own soul, from your own heart. Keep up what you are doing, you are an inspiration to many, even those who are 53 years old like me, or younger or older than me.. Greetings from Romania. Dearfully. 💯❤
Nice job on the pontoon. You are very talented and you love what your doing and it really shows through your work and your vids. Kudos to you for standing up for your friends. It's amazing to me how people can make an opinion about something when they only see a small fraction of what they are voicing their opinions on. You have amazing friends and you are an amazing friend yourself. Keep the positive energy flowing and it will cancel out the negative. I really enjoyed your vid. My father once told me something, he said "you can't look inner peace from without. You can only find inner peace from within. Sometimes you just gotta take the phone off the hook and let everyone get a busy signal." I think your dad will understand the reference. lol Thank you for sharing your talent and always take care of yourself.
I think you could have gone at least 45k, however if you are happy with 39k then I am positive you will it. Well worth it. Welcome back, you are one of my favorite channels and creators. You encouraged me to buy a welder and repair my utility trailer in the spring.
I love this build but I thought this one was going to be a keeper from what you said when you started it. I figured that is why you had such a high budget since it was going to yours and not a flip. It did turn out beautiful. Good luck on the sale of it.
You are under selling your worth man. Im aful at doing that to myself as well. We are our own worst critic. You are talented and creative. You shocked me when you said how much you want for your pontoon boat. I was honestly thinking between $55,000 for what you built would be more then fair but you could get an assessment done on it. It's nice to see a video from you. Congratulations on all your hard work. Whoever buys your boat is going to have years of fun with it.
Well done Zach! Been hoping that you were ok. Don’t underplay your achievements … what you have done is amazing. Try not to be so hard on yourself … best wishes from all your friends in Oz
Hang in there Zach, you have more folks who appreciate you than you know and wish you only the best. We love your projects and creative thinking but most of all it is about you and your creative mind and work ethic. I enjoy the videos and remember what Monty Python said, always look on the bright side of life .
Dude… You are sickly talented! I don’t know how you were able to invest like you did for this project. Just the time alone, let alone the money. I bet you’re living on this bad boy now. I have nothing but respect for you man. Great work. You could make a good living customizing these for high end customers.
Glad you are back, you've got some mad skills, and I love learning from you. I too went into a not so happy time. I found some projects to pull me out and am in a much happier place. Keep moving forward and know you are great at what you do and are highly valued! Much love, my guy!
I enjoy your channel. You are a creative person. Lots of creative people struggle with the mental health aspect so I am glad to hear you have found support to get you through to the bright side. I hope you keep building these interesting projects.
I was extatic to see you posted a video Zack. I have been checking weekly just in case I missed a notification. I know it seems weird to hear a stranger say they were worried from your absence but understand your content inspires and entertains others. You establish connections to people through your work and dont even realize it. Mental health is imperative and its good you took the time to help yourself (with the help of others). Im glad to see you are back and keep up the great work. Can't wait to see what is coming next.
We have certainly missed you Zach! But certainly take care of yourself first. We will all still be here. I think this is a great recap of the project and you are asking a very fair price for it considering it is almost all new. Almost like a fully restored classic Mustang with 90% new sheet metal! Lol! Good luck with the sale, and we are looking forward to the next rebuild adventures ahead for you!
Your super talented. I’m thinking of taking on a pontoon project and in researching came across your channel. Your inspiration has swayed me to take it on. I’m not as talented as you are with the tools but I’m going to give it a shot. Thanks, appreciate you, and I’m glad your feeling better.
Excited for you man. You inspired my boat restoration. I get so many compliments and alot of it was from watching you. I know what it's like to go through that. I do as well. Keep up the positivity.
Really glad to see you again bro. Love the videos. Glad you are feeling better. Mental health issues are no joke. Been struggling with it my whole life.
I’m so glad ur getting back to a happy place for urself… there is such a stigma around mental health and I’m so very proud u have talked about ur struggle in a public way, it may help others to understand they aren’t alone and can get the help needed. I NEVER email anyone from TH-cam, I just feel like there is some boundaries that shldnt be broken.. however I will admit I did email u a cpl of wks ago… I was really concerned, I felt like the last video u uploaded u was sick with a cold/Covid or something and then u just dropped off.. thankfully ur ok!! Just please if something was to ever happen to u can u maybe have ur sister or someone update the page so we can pray for u and the family? 😂
Hi Zack so glad u you are feeling better I can understand what you have been going through my self over that last year or so been up against Mental health issues. My family and friends been great . All I want to say if you wake up breathing everything else is a bonus your videos and work ethic’s are amazing respect to you and your family All the best Andy
$40K for this boat compared to others out there. Well, worth and very fair. He forgot to mention the trailer and upgrades on it. Look at other trailers in comparison. Personally, I would have set the price higher. Great video and well done build. 1st time on this channel. Found due to searching rebuild boats. ReBuilding a 91 Larson fish and ski with 3 liter inboard. Making just a family boat out of it and removing fishing deck. Found some great information and websites for this build here. Thanks for sharing it all.
I think you are awesome! You are smart , talented, handsome and very nice. Can’t believe you don’t have dates lined up. Anyway, I’m fascinated with your skill and talent. I’ve watched most of your projects. What a lucrative business you will have for the rest of your life with all you’ve got going for you!! Continue to be your own boss! I live on Lake Norman in NC. I bought a new , very plain 22’ Bentley cruiser last year for about $35,000 It has a 140 hp Suzuki motor(I know that’s a weird size). It’s very simple, only a pontoon, nothing fancy. Your boats are works of art!!!! They are worth MUCH more than an ordinary factory build! I also think your price is low. And your comps were really not anywhere near comparable to your boat. In my humble opinion. People up here love party boats and are willing to pay big bucks for them! I wish you much success!
Dude, price it 10- 15% higher than you'll take for it. $46,900 is the minimum you should list it for. Your time and skills are worth a lot. Beautiful boat.
Thanks for the ideas! I just finished tear down phase, polishing everything now. I’m definitely borrowing the fireplace idea, in Michigan it can get chilly after dark and I love it! My buddy is a welder who’s helping me so I’m hoping we can get a top deck built.
Missed your downloads, glad you are back.👍 You built a beautiful boat that you can be very proud of. I too prefer to work alone, it's a lot less complicated, hang in there.
WOW! I watched all of your build videos, and have to say this turned out NICE! Of course we are all different, and have different Ideas ( reason you like to work alone I bet), Somethings you added I wouldnt have... That said, Your asking price is very fair all things considered (maybe a little low...). Id be up for it myself...but Not that drive or the return with the boat...LOL! Hope you stay Healthy and sell this quick! And make some more much loved Videos! Thank you !
When I turn the volume up so I can hear you and when a advertisers comes on it was so loud It scared me so bad I spit my coffee out everywhere LoL 😂😂😂😂
Zach, glad your doing better. One day at a time my man...cliche yes..But very true. your a talented guy! Do what you love and the rest will fall into place!
I came across your channel while looking at some Seadoo rebuilds you had going. I have to say I'm extremely impressed with your ambition taking on such big projects. You have a great eye for design and great mechanical skills. Keep it up and I'll keep looking for some more projects you have going!!
You did an absolutely amazing job. But better yet taking care of your mental health is as important . Glad you were able to recognize the problem and get help. Keep up the great work on your builds and yourself. You are an amazing individual and take care of yourself. 👍😎🍀
Don't take the bad comments seriously man... just jealous people that have never done anything themselves besides post stupid comments because they are too scared and dumb to do anything. That being said, this boat is awesome! Great job!
Great looking work. A warranty would help you get a full retail market price. With even a limited warranty, local services only, you could get $50k. Having documented the work so extensively will also give buyers more confidence in what they’re getting. You might want to talk to some specialty/custom manufacturers, like cars or choppers (Orange County Choppers), to see how they approach the sales and build confidence in their products.
Sorry for dropping off the face of the earth these past months. I’ve been struggling a lot with my mental health and it got to a bad point. That's why God made zanex.
Got to look after number 1 Zach. Glad to know you’re ok. Take care brother !!
@@kennypool I’m more into permanent fixes 😉😂
Great to see you back 👍 I've missed your builds . Glad you're feeling better 😎
Glad to see your back and everything is good. Love your content and just bought my first boat because of this channel. Thanks for all you do.
Glad you are starting to feel better. I think you are lowballing yourself. $49,999 is probably closer to the right price. Your time is more valuable than that.
honestly it's an all custom job I think it could push a little over $50,000
Agreed
Up here in Michigan I just saw one similar to his build and they were asking $64k no upper deck
I agree with this group. That a $50k boat. Don’t under estimate your time you have in the boat. You should be paying yourself a fair amount for the time and effort you have in it. Love the boat man! Thanks for keeping us entertained.

Looking good Zach! Great to see you back!

Welcome back. Life’s a struggle. Tinkering in the garage is how I deal with it. But we all have our own vises to deal with things. Glad your good.
So good to see a youngster with the drive and ability to do projects like this. Nice job kidd!

I know it’s been a year but I wouldn’t have ask less than 55k . There was a lot of amazing personal touches along with the custom mods . Great work !
Bro if I was in the market for a pontoon around that price i would be more than happy to pay 50k for that. That roof alone adds like 10k to the build.
Dude… You are sickly talented! I don’t know how you were able to invest like you did for this project. Just the time alone, let alone the money. I bet you’re living on this bad boy now. Glad to see you are better Zach. Enjoy your life and live it to the fullest. God is love my friend.
Always take time for yourself BEFORE anyone or any thing. You cant help others if you arent right. Huge fan...keep it up brother!
Glad you're back! No shame in taking time out to get better. Looking forward to your next projects.
You did an amazing job! 40K is real cheap! Congratulations!
Your super talented. I’m thinking of taking on a pontoon project and in researching came across your channel. Your inspiration has swayed me to take it on. I’m not as talented as you are with the tools but I’m going to give it a shot. Thanks, appreciate you, and I’m glad your feeling better.
Great to see you post again and give a full recap. That build was truly ultimate and did take a while for you. Great to see you back in action.
That’s an excellent deal for someone ! I wouldn’t go a penny less . There’s a ton of excellent craftsmanship in that boat !
Excited for you man. You inspired my boat restoration. I get so many compliments and alot of it was from watching you. I know what it's like to go through that. I do as well. Keep up the positivity.
Very glad your back. Cant wait for the next project!
WOW !! Your skill set is amazing!! Keep on Keeping on!! You are phenomenal originator!!!!
Keep up the great work you do, your Dad must be proud of you, I wish i had a grand son like you !
Welcome back! I have missed you and your channel. Cheers buddy.
Selling yourself short. This is a brand new boat with features and quality that should easily bring $50k. Excellent work and video.
Hi Zack so glad u you are feeling better I can understand what you have been going through my self over that last year or so been up against Mental health issues.
My family and friends been great . All I want to say if you wake up breathing everything else is a bonus your videos and work ethic’s are amazing respect to you and your family
All the best
Andy
hi. I follow you from Morocco and I like your videos very much And your work is so wonderful. good job👍👍👍👍👍👍
Glad to see you back Zach. Hang in there and keep up the good work.
I loved all of your Pontoon projects,
You're very creative, and have a fantastic eye for detail.
Would love to watch another build!
I'm impressed with your workmanship.
You do some very beautiful work to this boat and you gave an old boat a new life love it 100%
Glad you’re back
Welcome back, glad to have your videos again.
Glad you are back. Really missed your video's. Keep well.
Can’t imagine anyone giving you a hard time, so lame. You’re so cool and honest, totally refreshing:) Keep going my man💪
Been wondering where you went, sure have missed your content. Always take care of yourself first, Welcome back man!
Great video, great editing, your narrating was right on point and just love how much pride you put into your work! Keep it up man.
Man this is crazy i build these at work and why am i enjoying you dling this more then going to work
Missed your downloads, glad you are back.👍 You built a beautiful boat that you can be very proud of.
Thank you !
$45,000 minimum asking price. love the build and thank you for sharing!
Life is amazing. I just thought of your channel a couple days ago and wondering whatsup. So glad you are feeling better.
It’s about time. I’ve missed you!
I came across your channel while looking at some Seadoo rebuilds you had going. I have to say I'm extremely impressed with your ambition taking on such big projects. You have a great eye for design and great mechanical skills. Keep it up and I'll keep looking for some more projects you have going!!
Self regulating is important and the absolute mature thing to do.
Glad to see you back. Enjoy your videos. Ignore the idiots!
You did an absolutely amazing job. But better yet taking care of your mental health is as important . Glad you were able to recognize the problem and get help. Keep up the great work on your builds and yourself. You are an amazing individual and take care of yourself. 👍😎🍀
I suffer a lot Anxiety and depression . And I relax and Kind of forgot about it watching ur vids So keep doing videos I’m sure I’m not the only one
Don't take the bad comments seriously man... just jealous people that have never done anything themselves besides post stupid comments because they are too scared and dumb to do anything. That being said, this boat is awesome! Great job!
Great build! One idea, replace the lava rock in the fireplace with decorative glass. More of a modern look to match the boat.
That’s an awesome boat man. You did a great job on that. I love the fire pit and bar. Nice touch and IMO completely what a pontoon boat was missing
Glad your in a good place now Also I think your price to sell the boat is spot on Awesome build dude Keep it up love your channel
