- There have been funny moments in DC history where the funniest, craziest, weirdest stuff has happened. The Golden age and the Silver age are the main culprits, however, if you look hard enough you can find many other comedic moments scattered in all era's.

There’s this one comic called “Saved By Belle Reve” or something like that where Tawky Tawny the talking tiger (a minor supporting character in Shazam comics) appears in a panel with an editor footnote that says he has nothing to do with the story, but they thought you’d like to see him anyway, and I find that hilarious.
Some of the Plastic man antics really hilarious 😂😂😂😂
The Captain Boomerang thing is actually something I could imagine DC doing today. It would be most fitting in something like “Teen Titans Go” since that show’s very Toon-Forcey, but I could also see it happening on Harley Quinn.

A time on the Silver age when Barry has a date with Iris and He ends up slipping on one of mirror masters glass shard and knocks him unconscious rendering him late for the date like always.
In regards to the 1st appearance of Doomsday/Supes dead "run".... my brother and I always laughed at this one little panel, to the point where if we ever saw something similar, be it another comic, a quick scene in a movie or show, or even an insane, violent spot in pro wrestling where we "think that guy is friggin dead," we reference this.
So it's been a while, I may be off with one or 2 smaller details, but if u know this, then you'll know exactly what I'm saying and "overlook" small detail mistakes...
Anyway, all that preamble for such a small spot lol.... it's when Doomsday is more or less just recently escaped from his little a billion miles buried underground tomb lol, green suit still covering his face, arm still tied back, and he's just kinda standing there....suddenly a cute little birdie flies by, he puts out his hand and Mr. Bir lands in his palm....
Next thing we know, "chirp chirp"--- DEAD!!
Doomsday simply closes his hand.. but it's not THAT killing, but rather it's the word/sound chosen to describe it...
"BLORCH!!"

Been reading comics for 40 years... I dont think I've seen BLORCH ever since. And def not prior...
So like, movie example, DEEP BLUE SEA, when Windu gets the all time surprise THING (spoilers? Lol), one of us immediately went BLORCH!
When the Rock hit Mankind over the head 116 times in that I QUIT match, after the like 5th shot, I belted out, "BLORCH!"
It may not sound as funny reading it, but u can easily find at least that full page with a quick image search titled DOOMSDAY 1ST APPEARANCE KILLS BIRD....
I hope the comedy stick with yall loke it has with my bro and i--- cuz we still randomly yell BLORCH to this day, with the same suddenness and break of quiet, when it feels necessary; and there's just something about a joke/reference that more or less only u and 1 otjet person on the planet know amd get, and it's even BETTER when u drop it amd some random person knows EXACTLY what you mean 😂😅😂😅

Dude... lol, i may not have laughed like u the Hawking Death Blow, but i DO have tattooed in my brain, what i found funnier than that INSANELY funny jla 38 moment 😂, and it's what Batman says AFTER, and tnen how it's just casually ans callously thrown away and onto tbe next move in the mission:
Someone comes in right after, some chick, whatever, and one of em asks "U OK?," blah blah, nect bubble lol, Batman goes "First time i hit a man with MOTOR NEURON DISEASE," which is funny alone,,but i always thought he said, "..hit a man WITH a motor neuron disease"

I told my brother and we cracked up, but then he looked at it and corrected me, and at that moment, our head canon that with enough planning, batman can WIELD A MOTOR NEURON DISEASE AS A PSEUDO-WEAPON TO STRIKE YOU WITH 😂😂
And since he's Batman, that eventually evolved into "why doesnt Batman just hit Bane with Alzheimers," or "Joker is 2 steps ahead, hopefully Bats is THREE ahead, and when the time is right, he just kicks Joker in the dome with multiple sclerosis," etc. Etc.. . Lol
I think it was from a comic in the 60's but that Batman slapping Robin is one of the funniest memes ever, and I even make some of my own using that image as well. Not sure if it was geared to be funny in the comics, but it's sure funny now!!!
Doomsday didn't kill Supergirl, just destabilized her form, which is still funny
