The Island - Epic Canadian Fall Carp Fishing

- The fall campaign follows Paul Cioca & Bill Anastasiadis on an epic adventure spanning 2 long weekends in September 2020. The previously unfished island located in the Kawarthas, Canada was booked on whim, a gamble which ended up paying off. The island wasn't an easy spot to fish being a particularly difficult because of heavy weeds and zebra mussels. With its ups and downs the campaign overall proved to be a great success, producing quite a few quality fish and memorable times.
In 2020 Paul had taken a keen interest in filming his adventures, "The Island" is Paul's first serious attempt at filmmaking and documenting his carp fishing adventures.

Absolutely amazing filming, with a professional touch that Many modern carp films lack. The films encapsulates the essense of carp fishing in all its purity. Oh, and btw absolute mindblowing fishing and fish as well. Im a fan 👏

Rod and reel combo? I had used a 12" daiwa theory rod which have been discontinued for some time, the reel was a shimano ultegra ci4...

I grew up in England watching Matt Hays and haven’t seen anything even close to his stuff but you guys did a great job, I’m hoping to get back into carp fishing and finding some new spots in southern Ontario. I’ll be subscribing
Ahh about 20 years ago I watched Matt Hays as well, his films were great! He actually came and filmed not far from where this video was filmed about 8 years ago. This video was my first real try at filming my adventures, my newer videos are a little more professional i think! Happy to hear you enjoyed it! Southern Ontario has some amazing carp fishing, tight lines!

Good vid looks amazing place , if u weigh your fish by holding the side off ur scales it adds weight on think it’s about a pound to every 10 pound
