I never noticed the horn section in this song was not isolated, it definitely has the percussion from the original sample but cutting frequencies, dope!
yeah i didn’t notice it either, but the percussion definitely adds some grit, maybe it wouldn’t have sounded as iconic if it was clean horns

It's actually Low Rider by War, but still I'm glad someone else noticed this sample.
Funny thing is that Lookas originally remixed 'War' and released it in May 2014, then Flo Rida hit him up to make a song out of this and it got released 5 months after Lookas‘ original remix
So basically what happened with "Good Feeling", then. Avicii sampled Etta James for "Levels", and then Flo Rida and his team took notice of that song to make a new track.

most of the people in the comments think this was the original beat. but really it came from Lookas remix of Low Rider. which then Flo Rida pretty much rapped on top of...just like Avicii's Levels & Flo Ridas Good Feeling.

This was obvious to me
2 things wrong here...
1. It didn't sample War's "Low Rider" per se. It actually sampled the remix LooKas did of that song (which was released FIVE MONTHS PRIOR mind you). WhoSampled & the song's Wikipedia page says so.
2. Nitpick I guess, but at 0:02...you got the artist and song names switched up lol
