Big respect Sh Uthman, I can't begin to express what a breath of fresh air this interview is. This cookie cutter dawah where everyone sounds the same and cowering away from real issues just makes Islam look weak. Bravery is standing up for the truth.

Exactly, sadly a lot of imam are spreading the fitnah of softness . The only thing they are talking about during their khutba is how to smile .

As salam alaikum akhi. It seems you are suffering from this mental health disorder alot of the ummah is. Calling students of knowledge sheikh? When no student of knowledge praises ahlul bid'ah from the ahlul sunnah who are upon the same Aqeedag and manhaj as the salaf ul saliheen. Uthmaan ibn Farooq has been exposed and refuted accordingly to the daleel from his own actions and speech and the ahlul bid'ah he has praised and sat with. You might not believe me. I have all daleel. I am a revert and I free myself from blind following jahil and groups.

The issue here is that I feel like you just came onto this thread to make fitna. If you are a disbeliever then I pray that Allah guides you to the Straight Path. I will not argue with you though. Not only is it not worth my time but, I don't want to misrepresent anything. Also love the brother wearing the imamah and smashing the misconception of it being for a certain group. We should never let evil groups hijack anything which is for us as Muslims... Such as real jihad, which the terrorists have understood in a wrong way. Or even the use of names such as Hussain or Hassan used by the Shia... These are the salaf we should follow, they are not connected to them in any way.

Taking a picture with Dr Dre? You can have your opinion on it but why is everything taken so negatively. Maybe the intention is that Dr Dre has millions and millions of fans and it will normalise them seeing an Imam in a selfie with him. I think some of these insults could be left out. Also asking for a selfie is an easy way of dawah to non-Muslim celebrities. We should assume the best in Muslims. Yes make criticism when needed but self praise and mockery of others is not tasteful.

Explain "Islāmic-Appearance", because "Islāmic-Appearance", as per how `Uthmān ibn-Fārūq is detailing really isn't an "Islāmic-Appearance", rather it's Arabism via Arab/Mid-Eastern Culture.

Well it's because the prophet is Arabian and he was wearing thobe and turban so, of course we trying to wear and act like him.. where's the problem?? Is it better to wear English jeans and western suits! The messenger of Allah was sent for the whole nation and we as(Arabs, Asians, African, converters) trying to follow his sunnah, we trying topray like him, drink, eat, wear... etc

In appearance the main command which is a direct one from the Prophet is to grow your beards, other than that the clothes you wear must be modest and covering your awrah, which can be done easily in western clothes even in jeans and a shirt, lots of preachers/sheikhs wore suits even while giving Dawah.

Salaam my dear brothers in faith. Alhumdulillah. Great discussion my brothers. I have a question for brother Saajid or brother Uthman, whoever can answer, please feel free to do so: I saw brother Saajid wearing a Polo Ralph Lauren t-shirt with the logo of a man sitting on a horse with a polo stick. I was once told in a mosque to remove and change my t-shirt with a similar logo.. otherwise my prayer would be nullified. Reason given was that art or logo or design of any kind that resembles Allah Subhan Wa'Tala's Creation on our clothing as we offer our Salat is prohibited. I would really appreciate your opinion on this matter, as it would help me gain more knowledge on this particular matter. Thank you. Wassalam Aleikum.

Muhammad (Peace be upon him) stated, "Whomever imitates any People are of them.".
    (Abū-Dāwud)
So, for Robert Lipham to use the Example of his Non-Muslim Relatives as a Furqān/Standard as per how to treat Fellow-Muslims is 💯%-Contradictory. We don't imitate how Non-Muslims treat one another, asper how Muslims Mafrūdh/Islāmically-Mandated to treat Fellow-Muslims. That's ironically "Imitation of the Kuffār (Disbelievers/Non-Muslims) by definition.

Gentlemen, you must remember that though America and even Dubai are lands of many nations, there are cultural practices and beliefs that people hold dear to themselves. Change is difficult for many people. Talking about American rights and the rights we have to share and expose religion to others is unknowingly against their own perceptions of what is acceptable. Just be men and women of understanding and use great listening abilities. Islam’s history, past and present is a little rough around the edges. So was the Catholic Church which was a knockoff of the original Orthodox Church. Abraham was not a Hebrew man. The few Jews that liked his words and ability to speak, invited him to join them. I say that because most men have not done their due diligence in the study of Hebrew writings and scripture. Nobody needs to dominate anyone. We all seek understanding from one another. Our strict beliefs are not for everyone, but they are for us who choose to live this way. Stray not from the middle path gentlemen.
