I live in the UAE since 1981, I have never seen one single street fight, my kids grew up here with all different friends from many countries. I am fortunate to have kept my job and I am now retired. the UAE is safer than any european country, your type of free speech you can shove it. We know all about your one sided free speech. Just continue having your "free speech" in your garden, the UAE has built its own garden and we love it as it is. People are happy here and you can see it everywhere, if you are not happy or you just cannot compete in a very competitive society then leave. God bless the UAE.

It doesn't offer chances it offers slavery, it's a playground for the rich and slave ground for the poor and middle-class. Do your research they treat people horribly there. And to cut of a finger for stealing a candybar from is shop is downright autistic and mentally challenged. The government there is crazy and surpresses your free speech. Being gay there will get u killed and u cant express yourself in any way shape or form. I'll tell u what Dubai is, its a front, it's a trailer, it looks good from social media but looks like shit when u actually live there. Playground for the rich, slave ground for the poor.
U would have better chances in Singapore or the west.
Dubai is a vacation country built on the back of slaves and they treat everyone who is not a billionaire or Arab there like absolute shit, they violate (human rights - their own) laws and keep you trapped in their country/city so that u have nowhere else to go. Dubai is a city state, one city represents the entire country and that is very bad because it means that it is completely centralized meaning that all the power is in the governments hands.
Dubai is an absolute joke and mistreats it's people, it doesn't offer opportunity it only offers vacation and slavery. It Litterly has poop trucks! How can u call it a proper city at that point.
And the fact that u call Dubai a country shows me exactly how u view Dubai, as the country that u've dreamed of, but let me tell u, where there is 1% of the rich m, behind them are 99% of the poor, and where there is 1% Of Dubai, there is 99% of Dubai.

I’m tired of everyone saying this. Its not just “fun for the rich” its more than that. I can go to the world’s largest mall right now and watch a movie there, watch people in the ice rink, enjoy the dancing fountains and laser show on the world’s tallest building, and get some McDonalds all for under $30. I can enjoy kite beach and play one of their festival games and the view of burj al arab and have a nice shawarma all for $3. I can go to Dubai marina, rent a bike, bike around the marina then go to JBR which is literally 4 minutes away and enjoy the views of the beach there and the plaza and maybe stop for a movie then go to bluewaters island which is 2 minutes away and get a beautiful photo from the bridge and then a meal by the beach from jbr all for $20. Renting a quad bike and heading to the desert is relatively cheap, global village is a giant festival with affordable street food and rollercoasters and showcases global cultures and sells items from those certain cultures, going there I would probably only need $20, $50 if I want to do a bunch of shopping. I can go to Jumeirah road where I have a chance of catching a convoy of 20 classic cars (this type of stuff always happen, its almost like civilian organized parades) and get a nice fresh juice for $1, a beef shawarma for $1.6, and a karak tea for a few cents, then head to the beach which is right around the corner. People always complain that Dubai is for the rich only. Its not. The rich people stuff is for the rich only, but the city is really affordable its just people see that we have fancy stuff and think its allll expensive shit
