I'm terrible at fighting games. When I was in high school my best friend was really good. He got me into MvC2, we used to read about Justin in magazines and on like the Evo message boards.
The reason the combo is actually impossible to continue infinitely, even though it's theoretically a true infinite, is frames are skipped because of turbo speed. Since a lot of the combo has 1 frame links, if the game skips that 1 frame that you need to link with, it kills the combo. Sako is truly in a league of his own in terms of execution and inventiveness, even among the best of the pros.
Justin, man, I was casual-good at 3rd strike back in the day, and have been a life long Street Fighter fan. The whole franchise. I’m busy af with music gigs these days, but you’ve become my happy dose of Capcom and SF daily man. You’re killing it on the channel.
As a BB Hood/Bulleta main that can only do the infinite for 2 reps, it warms my heart to know that even a fighting game god like Justin can't get the infinite down Also Justin if you're not rushing down with her then you need to spam rockets
The push block is a MUST in this game. You will die horribly from the crazy rushdown and mix-ups otherwise. Piano LK -> LP -> MP -> HP. Easy to do and absolutely necessary.
The sako combo is by far THE HARDEST combo ever to execute! It sounds easy at first until you have to 1F every jab in every dash in a consistent manner lmao
Good to see you are trying new characters. I'll help you, but only a little tho': Bulleta don't need to be in your face. The thing about the "Sako" combo isn't the 1 frame links into 1 frame links, but Sako plays a very aggressive Bulleta, where he pulls off the combo under some serious pressure and robs his opponents. Even if you learn the combo, if you can't master an aggressive tactical plan, then it would be a waste of time. Bulleta isn't hard and she has a pretty even match field. The thing about her is that her "aggressive" is odd compared to the others. She's somewhere in the middle of Zoner and frame-trapper [Which I will refer to as in-fighter]. There's really no in-between-- if you try to poke with her, you will be overwhelmed (much like what happened with the Felicia). She has data on her jabs, kicks, strong, and forward to apply some serious pressure. Her overhead is deceitful, where as the only way it is punishable is if it is done right next to the opponent. Her low forward I think trips (or traps, or can be used for frame traps-- it's one of those; not all) and comes out really fast-- it can be combo out of I believe. Her low strong is far enough to stop advances and on high jumping character like Felicia it can anti-air from afar. Use her Jabs and Kicks when you are in-fighting. Her jabs are in the higher tier of speed and her kick is if not faster, then matches it [2-3 frames]. This is how Sako would start his combo. He would in-fight for advantage on players that guessed wrong and take the momentum. Bulleta's Roundhouse and Fierce are her long range zone moves. Use these to funnel your opponent into a blunder and punish them with aggression. Her command grab is for opponents that are slow to move. It is specific, but comes out fast and may be vicinity coded like Zangief's SPD [but that's a guess; I do think it reacts differently to other command grabs]. All of her Roundhouses launch the bombs and those explosives sorta act disjointed from her, as in as long as SHE isn't touched they will connect. If you early Roundhouse in the air, she will recover nearly right after landing lag. Roundhouse is great for calling out trades. Again if she isn't hit then the explosives doesn't act as command projectiles (as in they CAN NOT BE SWATTED ASIDE). When done far enough, these too will give her nearly enough recovery to follow up by time the opponent blocks. In essence it's a one button sonic boom but a tad slower. Funnel your adversary, cause a blunder, and get paid.
2nd tip for ya'. Match ups: The Victor match up is more dangerous than Felicia. Your opponent was just hyper focused on defense and suffered from heavy does of the "Wong Factor". In the future, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TRADE NOR WHIFF POKE VICTOR. Victor's fierce will leave you in a loony-toons animation even on trade. This will allow him to close in and ravage your human body to his sick whims. Even if trade regards your landmines, the electrocution animation is a tad longer than the burnt, and unlike the burnt one you can't quick rise nor roll out. You HAVE TO TRICK HIM INTO A BLUNDER. If you can establish in-fighting, then know his only saving grace is Dark-force activation into command grab, or Rising knee. And his other is the VERY troubling ES headbutt. Fierce can be a bother cause of its parry frames on start up, but it can be hit upon sliding-- ES parrying frames last a little into the sliding. Be patient and Zone him into frustration, then cause him to blunder or initiate in-fighting when he least expect it. Jedda isn't much of a problem. It depends on the Jedda player. Stop him from flying by aggressively roundhouse jumping TOWARD HIM. If you think he will dash, then approaching jumping roundhouse. If Jedda does not use slow fierce then most of his attacks will miss a jumping opponent if they approach him, BUT REMEMBER you have to initiate the jump. If you are too late, then in-fight with standing jab (not crouching; never crouching). His dash airiels are only on plus when they connect. If he uses his strong (I think that's the one when he creates multiple blood hands), he CAN be punish on STANDING jabs and kicks from nearly the entire cast. Don't be afraid of Jedda. Fire your low strong (the attack when she shoot her uzi up and down) to stop his dashes from long range, fire rockets both low in air and on ground (both standing and crouching), from there slowly encroach on him. A so-so Jedda will panic and start super jumping and try to glide out. A Good Jedda will become VERY aggressive seeing what is going on. A master Jedda will try to goad you into a whiff punish game (which you will lose). Felicia is actually at a disadvantage. Bulleta can seal off the stage easily with rockets and landmines. Felicia only have speed, but even with that if you isolate her to jumping then it means nothing. You can stop her from jumping in by either neutral jumping early roundhouse, or back jump WHEN SHE JUMPS IN. Felicia has a high arc, so most of her air to air has to begin farther back than normal. If you really early (or even just early if she is on the hunt) roundhouse, it will force her to block or run into a mine. The only way she can hit you will be a roundhouse of her own which will mostly trade. Trading is a good thing for you 'cause of the loony-toon animation that will give you ample time to close and take momentum. The only move you have to watch out for is her middle kick, which can sometimes hit you during neutral roundhouse. Felicia's only real defense to Bulleta is rolling buckler [all versions], Hellcat command grab (if you in-fight), and her dark-force (when Dark-force is active a good Felicia will toss out "cat's play"--the move with the ball-- for advantage). If you can shutdown rolling buckler (with landmines and rockets) and take the fight to her on within Dark-force, then Felicia will have a rough time. Hope these help you out.
Love Darkstalkers! I got more into it back in the day because I got tired of Street Fighter and wanted something different (which I eventually became a huge fan of SNK fighters at the time as well). This and Rival Schools are two Capcom fighters that I wish would come back! BB Hood is one of my main on this jank, next to Morrigan and Rikuo.
Thank you mister editor for putting the ToP music snippet during Justin's first realistic attempt at the infinite! You almost got to scream "Ike!!!!!" in a KFC
If someone pulled this combo off on me in an arcade I'd be like "yeaaahhh...if that's worth the carpal tunnel to you you can take that W, you deserve it."
I didn't know you never got into the vampire series 🤔 that series was awesome. I remembered getting fisker I know I getting beskars on my fingers. I'm spelling that wrong. bumps on my thumbs because of this game & Capcom vs snk 😂
Outstanding videogame, on the difficult side of execution; I feel, mainly because of the speed of the game itself; there is also vampire hunter (A.K.A. Darkstalkers 2) which is a bit easier yet very fun to play too.
Love your videos but I have to say that I every time I see the red and white microphone it looks fake for some reason. Almost cartoon like. Very distracting. But I love your content.
Amazing that you got it down that way. But to be honest, based on your staple playstyle mastering the Sako combo might not be an indispensable skill. Sako just plays different, and that combo is/was important for him. Probably there are even better characters for your preferred style.
I’m absolutely horrible at fighting games, but they’re so fascinating to watch especially at a higher level
Everybody started out ass at some point bro you too can be great with some time and the ability to take Ls and keep it moving
@@thatd00doverthere That’s the thing. I don’t really play fighting games “for real”. I just like to have fun and mess around with them.
I'm terrible at fighting games. When I was in high school my best friend was really good. He got me into MvC2, we used to read about Justin in magazines and on like the Evo message boards.
I played tourneys for a few years if fun as shit to watch high lvl play

The Hikaru clip 😂
This is the last place I expected to see a clip of Hiraku, but here we are.
Justin gonna start calling his anchor characters juicers.
Love Vampire savior, matches go quick!

It's Justin, he won't rushdown
I love the editing of this video!! Props to Justin, B.B. Hood is such a feast to the eyes, so entertaining.
Hikaru plus Justin?! Top tier intro 😂🔥

Are we not going to talk about that grab at 7:55 lol.
Your edit style goes so well to enhance the videos.
Please do a video titled
How to stop: (example 1) iron man knee crush spammers
Oh man...I remember watching Desk training for several infinite variations for Bulleta. Now Justin's doing it? I'm gonna enjoy this.
Yeah! More Darkstalkers please!
The combo that MADE sako.
Good to see you play Darkstalkers.
Very fun learning session. It reminds me that it would he nice to see more series of you trying to do combos (actual trials or from combo videos).
Good to see you are trying new characters. I'll help you, but only a little tho':

At least Justin got to say, "Bye Felicia." The editor doesn't know about Friday.

BB Hood is really fun to play but her long combos are quite hard to do. She's my second main after Talbain.
Outstanding videogame, on the difficult side of execution; I feel, mainly because of the speed of the game itself; there is also vampire hunter (A.K.A. Darkstalkers 2) which is a bit easier yet very fun to play too.
More Vampire Savior!!!!
Love the Hikaru reference hahaha 😂
7:39 Emptying that clip... 🔫
Now that Hikaru’s been on this channel, are you going to show up on his channel?
I'm really surprised justin hasn't already been playing this game for like 30 years

Victor was spamming hella mega fist.
She Be Be Good
I would LOVE to see justin play VSav its so very much a game he would love.
To do that infinite you need to be as fast as a... Bulleta? 😅
Just saying capcom would be dumb not to have a new Darkstalkers ready to go after SF6 they already have the models from SF5 right?
We need a collab with Hikaru with you playing him in chess then in a fighting game lol
I SUBSCRIBED AND SMASHED THAT LIKE BUTTON
Just watched the WCG Ultimate Gamer series... Do you still talk to anybody from there?
Suggestion: more videos of learning fgs/chars that you are less familiar, and then playing matches.
Love me some Darkstalkers...
Seems like an El Fuerte type combo
Can we get some Sasquatch up in here?
Is the blue Bonnie hoods pie warrants Cherry pie

Love your videos but I have to say that I every time I see the red and white microphone it looks fake for some reason. Almost cartoon like. Very distracting. But I love your content.

Slam dunk is the best anime, and no one playing vamp Sav in 2023 is a slouch
😂

If you don't want to be potentially recorded on TH-cam. Don't talk, make a new name, or what. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
BB low mid
Don't ever compare fightan to chess ever again. Fightan is much more difficult.
