He’s come a long way since 14 years ago. In 2007 I was at a House show in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and saw Cody before his official debut. It was a rough night for him. He slipped and busted his head wide open and the match had to be stopped. But to see him how far he has come since then is amazing.

I actually agree but man, AEW's quality have withered down so much since here. Cody was on another level. Jericho was mystique. I understand things get stale as they narrow down but the vibe could have been much better handled. If only pandemic didn't happen we might have gotten that..but the pandemic cost AEW some budget and in turn, affected their production value. That's why pre-pandemic AEW seemingly had better lighting and camera work I believe. But from creative standpoint, I think most of what makes AEW boring stems from the sheer, boringness of it. Everything happens for no reason. There's a lot of under-skilled, uninteresting talent in the mid card and lower card scene. There is no interesting story in any division right now. It's just faces and heels having issues with one another. And Moxley just trying to have blood bath with everyone for no reason at all.
The voice crack when he said undeniable to undesirable got everybody, but nobody noticed his voice cracking saying 'The American Dream Dusty Rhodes', that got me man. Great promo!
That hit me hard. There was so much emotion behind that voice crack. Cody almost cried at that, and it just shows how much he looks up to his father, and wants to make him proud.

I saw him become an intercontinetal champion. I saw him BRING BACK the original design to WWE. I saw him wear a mask, THAT MUSTACHE, I saw him become Stardust I saw him leave and I saw him reivent himself in the independents. I saw how WWE took his last name as they championed Dusty Rhodes name for sympathy and publicity. I saw him become All Elite... His journey in wrestling has been MY journey too. I look back and see how far he has come... And idk I just can't help to feel emotional. I'm very happy to having the pleasure to have watched that journey and I'm looking forward to see where he'll go next. That's what's Pro Wrestling is all about, a good story.

I've fallen off wrestling for a while and when I heard that a few ex-superstars were starting a new bussiness, I got intriqued. So I did some more research and found out that they were giving talent better money/health deals I was all for it. Now that I've seen this promo I think I'm in love with wresting again and especially in love with AEW. This speaks to me, not the kid-friendly type.

Why doesn't AEW look like this anymore Nowadays the arenas looks dark & as the brightness has been toned down
I think it might sadly have to do with lower attendance. Though the attendance is starting to pick up, so we might have lighter arenas again
@@TherealMatthias1998 Nah,they had 16k people on AEW Revolution 2024,and the arena still looked as the brightness was down,also didn't they shot the crowd having that many people.Looked like 7-8k when watched on TV
