Probably one of the most anticipated videos for a long time it was like a Lord Muck will it start video. The country has waited in suspense a bit like back in the 80s when everyone had to wait for months to see who shot JR Euwing I can see a new line in merch just for the 6480 coming to help pay for the farm shop.
I have came across a few 64 series masseys that has this same problem with the injector pump studs breaking or pulling out so its not a one of problem. Great to see a real young mechanic that can remove broken studs and helicoil the others.
Good stuff Lee, another dead tractor resurrected and back to work. Might be the one to trade in for the 135 you had on demo a few weeks ago perhaps Phil.
Ahh the video i think every1 has been waiting for the green moss was starting to grow on the 6480 in the yard it was time to get her back going ,yet again great video lee is a very handy lad around your yard hard beat good staff keep up the great work because my god yee are flying through it all the best phil 🙂👍
Great job Be best fit that support plate behind injector pump and stop future brake down Might not be as lucky Lee looks like the making of a good mechanic Keep it up G Luk Paddy in Oz
Well done Phil, Fair dues to Lee. Great to see a young man with a pair of hands and a bit of savvy to go with it!! Besides been a good man working the machinery he'll be a mighty asset in the workshop over the winter months. Good to see another piece of kit back in action and not just occupying valuable yard space. Well done Lee and well done yee for hiring him !!
Is the other man they had fixing gone from them I wonder, dint see him driving either all summer! Good to see ye getting uncle Ians tractor back on the road.
Nice one Phil Well done Lee, great job Can we assume since Father Phil gained celebrity status that he is becoming a bit of a diva and letting others take on the big jobs 🤔
Got lucky with the fix :) Not to bad taking off the injectionpump on them, we changed the pump on or 06 7480 since the injectionpump coudn't build enough pressure to fire the injectors when coldstarting :)
Right.. I'm writing this before watching the vid... cause we know you can fix it... 😅 just needs time , knowledge and money 😮😅. Bets its a great video to.. stay safe 🏴
Well done Lee poor Phil getting in trouble with the cab suspension Father Phil listening at the wrong time 😂that's what I over with the workshop videos all the fun with Father Phil taking the mik
good to see your uncles 6480 back going again. it will give you a bit more flexibility with stuff like rolling the grain and moving bales as you wont need to move the tele as much. makes these "1-man" jobs again which should free up more time. also ways good to have another tractor in the yard should help keep the hours down on the others. Plus its not in the way anymore :) . Looks like ye lucked out with Lee
I had this with my 7480 actually broke a injection pipe at one point when it came loose still ran tho, mine was caused by previous owners stripping threads while fitting a new pump, it broke the timing case and snapped the lug of the injection pump🙈so I swapped the timing cover wasn’t a bad job really
Hiring a man full time is the best thing ye have done. He'll get through the world of work during the winter. Workshop will be empty before ye know it!
