Don't be apologising for ranting on lad!!!!! That's a serious tractor and you are entitled to b proud out to own it. Well wear!!!! Hope u get many happy hours out of her driving it 👍
We’ve a 6495 off Ned Murphy with front linkage, we rarely use the datatronic as we don’t really have much use for it but what we do use most is the rev setting it’s brilliant, tip the button and it revs to what you want, which is serious for mowing or baling etc. we have it for a silage wagon, mowing and slurry and I can’t fault it 🎉 also you can set her into automatic on the gears if ya want too which suits some road work 🎉 on the whole taking off situation I tend to use 3A to 3C load depending of course, they are a top notch tractor and as you mentioned Ned gives great service for the machines he sells which is also a huge benefit 😁
Hi Phil, I had a 6490, and loved it, fantastic series of tractors. From my memory, you need to set a length of time for the spool to pump for when in headland management mode. You have to do this on the spool valve page on the datatronic, (3rd box across I think!). Also if you push and hold the headland management button, it will bleep and run the full cycle of functions you have selected until it reaches a pause. I hope you enjoy your time in her, fantastic tractors!
I am a Massey fan I would love to see all of your equipment.we always had great luck with ourMasseys the last one we had was a 3650 mfw. Like your videos
I know sod all about tractors but OMG the cab of that tractor is like an airplane cockpit, so many buttons and levers. All its missing is a Kettle and you could move in. lol. You're well impressed with it and that's what matters. Great vid.
We have most 64 range and 76 too It's all down to the garage u deal with to program the computer That grunt you hear just after starting the engine will stop if you an extra 5 to 10 liters of backend oil in , just have it over the max mark on the sight class
Hi phill .congratulations again to you and father phill with the new mf 6499 ,she is a beauty. I love watching your video s here in New York , can you put the 3690 and the 6499 side by side just for a picture and just for the fun , hope your uncle is doing good, thanks again for a great video
Hi Phil. If you going to take over the farm at some point you need to really keep the tractors clean cos that cow shit don't do them any good at all so one job that you really need to keep on top off. Otherwise that rust going to get in that tractor in no time. Glad you're really happy with it thow. From Andy
@@FARMERPHIL3690 good choice man, yeah there good motors, I had the vtr and the vts, and had a 106 gti, my favourite was the vts, I had road/really cams in the vts, was a flyer, good for 130mph no joke. Oh your new massey is a beast! love that 👌🏻
no dont own the broughan, and i think the tractor looks orange cause of editing the videos at night using sowftware to change the color of the screen to leave it easier on my eyes
Hi Phil! How many hours did it have on it when you got it? I’m on the prowl for a my ‘first’ tractor. Gone out for myself this year and now looking to buy a good second hand machine and the ‘99’ seems to tick most of my boxes!
Nice tractor there Phil! Youl be surprised how easy she is on fuel with 2 mowers and doing the heavier tillage work, we have a 6495 at work and she'll mow a good day and a half with 2 krone 10fts, she actually is easier on fuel than a fellas fendt 718 that's remapped who gives us a hand mowing and the 64 will never warm either!
Do you have any weights for the front of her or don’t do heavy enough work where you would need to balance her up for balance for traction to get a good pull?
Nice truck! I can't understand what you said. What kind of wild accent is that? I can recognize some words but did you not learn any American when in grade school? Where is it that you grew up? Wild sounding "American"?? But nice tractor for sure!
@@FARMERPHIL3690 ....what is wild is that I totally understand you when you write - perfect American. But when you speak it is like another language. BTW, what would you rather have, a John Deere or the equivalent Massey Furguson?
So if you get paid more for a bullock than a bull why are you not snapping a rubber band around them calfs nuts when they show up on your farm. Probably cost less to feed them up to weight and a lot safer to work with

Just home from school. Time to watch Phil and do some farming. Love the vids Phil👍👍👍
Sean King sounds like a plan 👍🏼

In regards to the gears if you start in what you call the slow gear and on the road just hold the t bar forward and is way faster through the gears

I was tempted to change my MF8240 for a 6499. Always fancied one. Air brakes and 50km is needed nowadays.

That's nothing. Some brands can have double the amount of buttons
Þorkell Jesús Ayee massey’s have always been quite minimal inside the cab compared go others, Fendt are the worst for it
@@Andy-mj6up massey's are like simple fendt's
Thats a rig to be proud of
Looks a good bit of kit 👍
Quality video Phil 👍
Phil you should get a seat cover for her
Agreed. That's a must have for any tractor

Hi Phil like to hear the sound of the tractor from the cab.

Does your drone not have a setting to follow where you go?
yes it does
great video, hope the tractor does yous well👍🏽did u work somewhere else before you came home full time?
no never worked anywhere else just home and 2 farms i did placement on in college
That's an impressive looking outfit
You'll need to get bigger mover for her in the summer
Ur lad behind ye telling her to flash for cash to the speed van 😂😝
3690 or 6499 which one do you like better
i havent got to use my 3690 much yet so ill decide later

Morning Phil, does the drone follow you itself or is someone else driving it. Just got a mavic mini but it doesn’t follow me. Cheers Paul
Mine has settings to follow me and different ways of following me but every time I’ve crashed it is was because I set it to active track😂
Is that a new trailer
Aye
Great video, Do you know the name of the fuel additive
dipetane
Some tank phill Massey is classe
