The foam roller is still working great and I also recommend using using a Thermarest foam sleeping pad used in camping which can be rolled to different diameters + the addition of canned soup . Good to finally see the "heat wave" in Michigan and All the best Dr. Rowe .
      Thermarest sleeping pad

Been struggling with neck pain for a while, following a minor car crash saw a physio who noted that this could actually be deferred pain from my back - over a couple of sessions I started to realise a pain similar to a pinched nerve near my right shoulder blade. These exercises have been very helpful in easing this tightness- thank you

Real hero's dont wear capes! Seriously, I cant get comfortable because I've been hurting to the side at the base of my neck to a point in my back shoulder area and into my upper arm that causes tingling and numbness down into my hand and fingers all on the same side with neck movement for days and cant go to the chiropractor so I finally had to figure this out and your vids are AaaahhhhMAZING! If I could be granted 3 wishes in life, 1 would be to have a live in good chiropractor for life! Y'all are the best!!

Thanks for these awesome upper back stretches and strength exercises.. …especially the last exercise with the towel assisted-thoracic rotation..I felt a pinch only in the front of the left hip flexor psoas cramp. As I pressed against the towel and intensified as I tugged my left knee and twisted to the left side……. It does feel good otherwise except that feeling to feel pinch nerve deep hip/ psoas. It is only left side. It is not painful …and am glad it was less cramp and less pinch nerve with more repetitive and …. I felt a nice clink pop sound in the deep si j joint and feels great in the si joint. A great bonus ….who knew working the thoracic rotation would also fix my left hip flexor psoas and no more cramps and pinch nerves.

I just want to say, I have had severe lower back problems for a month now. Started with a chiropractor and now doing 4 weeks of physical therapy. And, I have found that I am completely weak and am starting my exercises a the lowest level. This is my second week of P.T. and since I seem to have no muscle tone, my body has been used to compensating to get whatever job done that I've been doing. So last night and today my shoulder blades area feels sore and tight. And I'm assuming because I'm not doing my lower back exercises correctly, (compensating as apparently I've trained my body to do). I am not going back to P.T. til next Tuesday so I am so thankful I found your channel and this video! Loosened it a bit. Hopefully doing these through the weekend, it will help more.

The first stretch on the knees utilizing a couch and the shoulder blade liftoff both worked fairly well. The twisting motions in the others just caused mid-back cramps after muscle activation in that area. It's frustrating that an effective stretch requires relaxation, however, many stretches and poses require muscle activation in other areas that cramp on me. I've got a long slow journey ahead of me.

Wow i had to search a back muscle diagram to find what muscle was hurting and I think it's the scapula I'm unsure, feels like right next to my shoulder blade, either way I've found stretches for it and found this video, so far I can't feel the pain so if it's helped I'm going to do this every day, this video has helped loads

Bud that first and third one is awesome so far in the video. Stupid partying made me stay in bad posture for too long. Leaning back with hand behind head and the using a bed or couch one is great. Thanks man I've been rotating left and right over my left shoulder blade on a sturdy styrofoam covered back roller getting cracks but it didn't make a difference. I said no to therapy a couple years ago lol
