Enjoy your videos, thanks for making them. I tried the tadpoles, but seemed to snag with them a lot. Then I went to jet divers, I have more luck with them. They float to the top when you slow down, most of the time they even work free if you snag and stop.
I am using some Diawa bait casting reels I have had for 30 years. The rods are inexpensive Berkley Cherrywod rods, 7', medium action. The spinning reels are very inexpensive reels I picked up at Wal Mart. The spinning rods are Wally Marshal rods. Again, 7' in medium action. That is the beauty of trolling crankbaits for crappie, you don't need expensive equipment to have a good time.
Usually the lower end from the dam to about the 15 mile marker. Thanks for watching. Hope to publish another crappie video later today. Hope you will watch.
Ok, great, we just got a place at the 8mm , right at the entrance to buck creek south. Great method to take Grand kids out and fish with. Thanks for all your effort on these videos.
Mike !!!!!! You have to put out more than two videos.. You had a pretty good acceptance to the two you did put out, now get to work and put out more.. The secret to TH-cam is consistency, you have to be consistent to keep your subscribers. More subscribers, more thumbs up and you stat to make money at this.. But, the key is consistency, you have to get back on track and put more videos.
Not in it to make money. Just having fun and hope to share a little knowledge. With that said, I filmed anther video today. Caught a lot of nice crappie. Stay tuned. It should be out next week. Thanks for watching.
A diving weight designed to carry your bait to a certain depth depending on the amount of line you have out and your speed. You can find them at Off Shore Tackle. They also have a dive chart on their website. www.offshoretackle.com/
Great video Mike. I hope you do some of cat-fishing vids too. Check out the channel "Catfish and Carp" if you haven't already...it's a good one. He's an attorney, but of course we won't hold that against him ! :)
Catfish stirred up on a hot day... really messes up a good crankbait outing. You handled it really well. Loved the action.
Love your videos. You got my wife and me addicted to Bandits trolling, lol.
Could be worse addictions. Thanks for watching.

@@MikeBakerVideos rods are 7' medium action? is it medium power moderate action? power/action? Thanks.
i am in tears of laughter.....another catfish.
How many poles does the Missouri DNR allow? Here in Iowa we can use 2 or you can add a 3rd pole for an extra $12.
You can use more than 3 if your poles are labeled with your name and conservation number. I label all of mine.
Great job, I like how you moved the camera from the 1st video. its not moving with your head.
I agree. I am new to all of this and learning as I go.
I am thinking about building a trolling rack on my Tracker, what rod holders are you using?
Driftmaster.
Mike enjoyed your videos. I just discovered trolling over this last holiday week. Just curious what part of LOZ are you fishing?

Mike what line type and poundage are you using for trolling?
I usually use 8 lb. Vicious, but Wally Marshall or Crappie Max seems to work just as well.
