Good video for those who may want to come fish the Tennessee river that are not familiar with the area and how to catch skipjack. The more bait caught in the least time involved could make a trip for someone with just a few days or a week to fish.

I like the trolling videos. Very productive. Of course if it weren't, it wouldn't have been posted. The scenery in the evening sun is beautiful. Now those reels make a sound that reminds me of a coffee grinder but if they work, that is what counts. Great entertainment, good tutorial and some time on the water with my bud,,,,Justin.

I love the bait catching videos. It’s a nice change in pace and also shows that you have to put time in on getting good quality bait in order to catch good quality catfish. I’ve binged watched probably 30 of your videos the last few days and have learned a lot. I live just to your north across the Kentucky line. Would love to catch some skipjack someday.

Good video, good info, but could you give some ideas as to where to locate skipjack, what to look for etc. In a prior video you pointed out they were concentrated below dams and that paid off, but since I have to drive a minimum of 2 hours to a river that holds them any info helps. Thanks for the help.

That reminds me of the worst behavior I have ever seen while fishing. We were trolling on a lake in North Texas when a boat came up behind us. One of the jerks in the boat behind us tried to catch our lures with a net. He got one and then sped off cutting the rest of our lines with his prop. I still shake my head every time I remember that.

I just go to a trout stream and catch green sunfish when I go catfishing. I fish a lake with bullheads and channels so I don’t need big pieces of cutbait so small fish do work
If you put a large bead on your main ahead of your swivel that will help stop some of the weeds from going all the way down your line to the jig.
Or if you really wanna go for broke, attach a treble hook with the points clipped off to the lead eye of your swivel with a split ring. that catches almost every that is sliding down your line.
