Once again, David, a well thought out and helpful video. Thank you.
Thanks again... so very glad you liked it...
Hi David, why did you decide to go from 24 to 22 inches on your fuselage? I was also thinking 24 is definitely wider than I need but would like to know your thoughts.
Mainly just for looks, I guess... I met Leonard & John when I bought my plans many moons ago... John was suppose to build my fuselage; he asked if I wanted standard 24 or a little skinnier... I set in both the XL & the original & we decided then he was going to make mine 22"... Once we decided I was going to weld my own fuse, I just shot for the 22" mark that I had given John originally... really, no other reason... I have PLENTY of "elbow room" in the 22... I've got my handheld radio at the bottom of my seat beside me & still have plenty of room... one could easily make it even narrower to help save weight... Of course I haven't flown mine yet, but it sure feels good when I sit in it and dream... :)
@davidadkins1926 thanks, you've convinced me to go to 22 also.
One thing I thought of after I posted... I would suppose it may depend on your 'size' as well... my waist is 33ish" (OK maybe 34") - For whatever any of that's worth & like I said I have plenty of room... Keep us posted on your progress - if you have any questions, fill free to reach out...
A real easy once you do one,
not too bad once I got started... BUT I did figure out the fuse was a lot easier & probably less welding than these gear... ONE PIECE AT A TIME, right? Almost done & ready for next video...

No thanks... I'm here for the builder, not to build the views...
