    Important notes:
I briefly address ADHD medication at 04:02
Not every clinician tests with the EXACT same procedure, but they should follow the same guidelines for an accurate assessment.
For a high-quality study on ADHD genetics which I referenced here, search for this paper: PMCID: PMC6477889

Do the symptoms have to be consistently intense or visible all the time or can they become less intense and nearly absent for a specific short period of time depending on the mood (happiness)?
And can some vitamin or mineral deficiency create all the adhd symptoms without having adhd?

Symptoms have to be fairly consistent, but can get more/less intense based on things like mood, sleep quality, stress, etc.
Severe nutrition deficits can make attention difficulties worse, but I've never encountered anything like that from clinical practice or in the research where a vitamin/mineral deficit creates all the symptoms of ADHD.
      Hope this helps :)

is it possible for the symptoms for ADD in particular to be more prominent in teen years cause of having a lot more to juggle?
As a child I'd finish my homework religiously before playing and score good marks, however i never sat for more than 30-45 minutes. My mom tells me I wouldnt fidget but i clearly remember fidgeting a lot of a child.
This rises my second question, what if there is no one that remembers certain aspects of these question? Like i remember fidgeting, but my mom says i didnt. How would u diagnose then?

One of the main controversial points of the current DSM-V criteria is "symptoms must be present under age 12", and it's controversial because peoples memories are very unreliable, especially if you're asking them to remember specific behavioural mannerisms from decades ago.
