      Agreed. A shitty video of cleaning a guitar. Lots of wasted time showing simple repetitive steps, but no useful information/content. Didn’t film the new pickup install, but filmed doing all the screws and cleaning the neck(?)…

    Looks great
    From the headstock decals, it seems to be a 1999-2002 Bronco Bass.
    It would be nice to hear how it sounds. Well done!

    • @coffeeguitars6906
      @coffeeguitars6906  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use Howard Feed N' Wax. Lemon oil is also a good option. I recommend oiling your fretboard 1-2x a year. If you live in a very dry environment though, you may need to do it more often.

    • @mattiasjp
      @mattiasjp 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      If your bass or guitar has an finished maple fingerboard like this one, there is no need to use anything special. Just clean off the dirt and maybe polish the frets.

      Rail pickups seem to be favourite for a mod, interesting that Squier would use a guitar pickup, seems to make little difference to how it worked.

      At this point I don't recall, unfortunately. It's been a while since I've owned that bass. The pickups that come stock are meant for guitar and don't do the Bronco any justice.

      Its appears so? A little "What I'm Doing" would have helped! I also am changing out my Squire Bronco Bass. I am putting in a "Hot Rail" pickup, Changing the Bridge from a 2 roller to a 4 roller, And putting on RotoSound RS88S Black Nylon Flat Strings, 65-75-90-115 for a deeper Bass sound, All together, About a $100.00 for all the parts.
