At least in the short term, pending competence.
It would be call if something small could dethrone something large, monetarily speaking, in our day and age. Let's all root for employee owned Bluesky to take the fight to Face and Alpha. I've learned not to bet or invest contrary to the interests of the rich versus those of the poor or middle class, it has been a one way street, but with something small and growing, that captures the so called eyeballs of our great land, and offers potentially big returns...everyone loves an underdog and our media overlords have sacrificed a lot of good will in their unquenchable pursuit of fortune, for themselves and their less rich but still insanely wealthy peers. If you own a megayacht you don't want to shoot the shit with a guy in a regular sailboat, how would you compare how you chose the appointments and colors, you want to tell your story to someone who has also leafed through binders of hardwood samples, leather options, and specially designed high end yacht hardware. People who wish to build something that will take them to Mars might not be the most grounded or public minded of our super wealthy overlords. But they are winners, American winners, kicking ass and taking names globally, and we can all be proud of that. When our billionaires winn (are they trillionaires now? The f' ng should be. We all win and feel better knowing that shared sense of pride and achievement when one of our rocket mans moonshots pushes off from our earthly planet to soar higher and farther than any regular human could imagine; the selfless bravery and financial commitment of these guys is without reproach, it speaks for itself. Just feeling proud and grateful to have so much greatness, so much winning, to admire and feel like I am a part of it. Mars, with everyone in new uniforms and probably attractive women steering something or serving something...can't get that ticket in Ukraine or Mexico, I'll bet you.

enjoy the next 4 yrs!
@@DerekKwan I will enjoy watching Orange Jesus fail and fail again, just like last time. I'll enjoy watching the OJ and Elmo love affair end in flames, just like a SpaceX rocket. And I'll enjoy watching defectives like you try to explain it all away!
Also: the owner of Twitter devaluing it by 80% because he's a clueless, thin-skinned twat has been more than enough of a collapse for me. Enjoy your echo chamber!
Already gave up on threads. It’s just another meta manipulation.
I use Facebook every day but I refuse to download threads why do I need a other dang app. Stop making 50 apps from one company. Annoying.
BlueSky stock is considered a private security and does not trade on the stock exchange. Its user will not be able to make any money from it (so far, anyway).
Bs. Was just destroyed by both Threads and X.😂😂😂
Kara just keeps talking while Scott is bored out of his mind...
Scott leave this show .. Kara is so annoying!!! Have you ever seen a more cranky self righteous person than Kara Swisher lol
Who has time to post on all these platforms? And who wants to give more power to Meta. I'd rather support anyone who is not Musk or Zucherberg
No amount of Bluesky shilling is going to make it a thing lol 🤣
Over 1 million new people a day say you're wrong on that one. Right now 21 Million and growing.
@@n.e.c.6389 If you really think you can main stream media narrative your way into making your fantasy a reality, then the 2024 election didn't teach you a thing lol
@@n.e.c.6389 Haven't seen a single blue sky prop piece in 48 hours. That was fast lol
Let X become an Echo Chamber for Elon and his Naxi friends.
Au contraire mon frere!
Twitter/X is well balanced: 48% DEM 47% GOP says CNN!
The echo chamber (a leftist one) is Bluesky!
PS. The numbers on Bluesky are already declining! Less daily subscribers, less likes, less posts, less followers for a week now!

It’s way more likely that blue sky is an echo chamber
Okay boomer
Does everyone drink Coca Cola? Then why should the 8 BILLION people in this world be exclusively on X?
And echo chamber is a place where 1 perspective is shared and amplified, a place where you never hear voices with an opinion different than yours.
I only see people with 1 narrow political POV migrating to BluSky.
Do these two hate each other?
Odds are you won't see this but just unsubscribed from Prof G Marketplace:
1) Scott repeats himself between this show and that one--because of the format of Pivot, I get more out of it proportionally as more of Marketplace is sucked up by the repeated information.
2) Scott ain't workin real hard and it's more noticeable on Markets. I'd listen to Ed everyday because he works hard and is prepared.
3) Scott's insecurities coupled with telling us how wealthy he is is not why I listen and we're not getting a psychiatry co-pay
4) Those opening jokes...see #3
I love that media lies and keeps doubling down on this narrative 😆 democrats version of rumble will just always be that
Haven’t seen anyone mention this yet but these 2 are way too old to be able to predict the next social media app. Blue sky is cooked and I’m bookmarking this video
Blue Sky Corporate propaganda.
I bailed on X over a year ago.
The truth is hard to handle
“WE’RE NOT AN ECHO CHAMBER, YOU ARE”
-Spidermam meme😂
I can't trust Zuckerberg again and used threads.
What is that "woman run" BS? Jay is the CEO and seemingly a good one. WTF do you feel the need to turn it into yet another round of gender bashing?
Joined Blue Sky and amazingly I have had so many young attractive women wanting to get to know me... 63 yr bald overweight male... 🙈
What do you mean "why"? I thought you were supposed to be the smart guy. Instagram has been trashed, Twitter has been trashed- everybody is trying to get away from the same handful of d-bag tech bros. Anything halfway competent that isn't going to feed us to machine learning and that isn't tainted by Elon or Zuch or Andreessennenen is going to succeed. At least in the short term, pending competence.
7:40 lolwhut
Interesting but Bluesky has no business content...
Yeap! I am switching to Bluesky!!! GO BLUESKY!!!
what are you guys talking about....wishful thinking i guess, you two are not genuine at all
Lol you guys are living in a bubble
bluesy sucks
The problem is you
21 million vs 550 million, BlueSky vs Twitter. It's not close, yet.
Bluesky sucks.
