A 10mm socket or wrench will get the nuts off those bolts. Does that help?

Put magnet on the wrench for bottom nut and it will hold it in place on the wrench for removal and reinstall

If the small glass on the mirror on top of the blinker broke. Can we only buy that small glass or we need to buy an entire mirror?
I believe you could get it seperate. Mine were seperate but I didn't need to buy that corner one.

@@ArcticVette yes I watched the video of replacing the entire mirror. What I was wondering is that my mirror signal lamp (small glass covering the signal light) on the mirror is broken. I would only want to buy that part. Just found another video that it looks possible to buy only that and change only that part.

How do you pop the mirror cap off without breaking it? I know you didn't need to do that but if you know can you shoot me a reply?
Checkout the video in the description. I took the mirror apart and replaced some parts of it. That might better help you out 🙌🏼

? And also how did you take it apart to put the turning Signal light back in ? I crack both on my and one mirror I was going to buy it all just brand new but if I can this way to save me money I rather only thing is on my turner it stop working on the passenger side
I got most of the parts from Tasca Parts (online store). The mirror I ended up buying off of eBay.

Random question, but where did you get those brackets for your light bar at the top of your windshield. Iv been searching and searching with no luck
So these came with the light bar. The top piece is actually the smaller bracket and I just straightened it out to make it fit correctly. I don't have any links to a specific mounting bracket, because I too didn't have any luck finding one.
However, I have a video that covers how I got it to work with the mounts they sent with the light bar. It's titled "How to install a Light bar on a 2016 Ford Explorer". The thumbnail is a monkey bitmoji covering it's eyes, with "Blinding 52" light bar install" on it.
Was also thinking of upgrading to power fold and changing the switch to make it power fold but not sure if I can due to the harness in the door mine is also 2016!
If you find out that this is possible let me know. I'd love to do it myself too.

The only thing I looking into for mine is to do the Exchange to power fold is to get someone with the same to see the switch connected on the harness in the door and the one in the mirror if the plugs match and fit
The fuse space is already there on the box within under the dash/motor there a spot already there
@@DaRealGQ6869 I must have forgot to post that comment on your other one. I got them from Tasca Parts. It's just a website and had everything I needed. In the description of this video you can find the video of how I actually tore the mirror assembly down and rebuit it.
