We went there in 2017 and they were closing the doors... Told the guy we'd just drove from ATL. GA to eat there and he was kind enough to let us in...They didn't have the full menu do to selling out of some stuff but we got some brisket and sausage and a few side...They gave us a smoker tour as well and was so nice to us... This place was amazing and we can't wait to go back someday!!!
Louie mueller is next on my list. City market in Luling Texas is my personal favorite

We visited Louie Mueller as well on our channel. Sat down with the owner and chatted with him regarding "The Cathederal Of Smoke!" LOL Love this place!

Mueller's, in my opinion is ground zero of the central Texas BBQ craze. Or shall I say, the mecca of central Texas BBQ. This is where Franklin learned the craft. Best brisket in Texas fo sho.

Just at at Louis Mueller BBQ. Day Tripper must have gotten lots of extra. I paid 31.50 for a brisket sandwich one serving of beans, banana pudding and 2 teas. BBQ was ok but portions small no flavor in beans and pudding was whipped cream. Very disappointed as went because of this rating Way too much money for ordinary BBQ. Won't waste my money anymore
Went here today and it was ridiculous. $75 for 3 chopped sandwiches and 4 TINY sides. Beans were disgusting ( I couldn’t force myself to eat them after trying them. I’m guessing prices went sky rocket here bcuz of publicity bcuz we used to eat here all the time and never again now.
Chopped beef sandwich $9.25 x 3 = $27.75
1/2 pint side (not even their smallest size) $3.75 x 4 = $15.00
Grand Total = $42.75

I have been eating Louis Mueller’s brisket, Elgen hot sausage, and Rounrock donuts before I was even born. I am blessed to have all my mom’s side of the family being brought up in Taylor!
