Are we not going to talk about the endless commercials interrupting the races.
How I would improve the Truck booth is get rid of Jamie Little she's not cut out to be a commentator just like how Vince Welch wasn't, get rid of Michael Waltrip he isn't really all that good and talks about Daniel Dye every chance he gets, keep Phil Parsons he actually adds insight and can call a race, add someone like Todd Bodine or Kurt Busch they both have good insight, and put Adam Alexander in if they can't get him for most weekends just get someone like Ralph Shaheen.

What I HATE is the driver cartoons - some are accurate and some are not. They make me wonder - are cartoonists cheaper than photographers?

Yeah i was so damn annoyed about them not explaining that on the broadcast. Only reason I even knew that was what happened was because I had bubbas scanner audio on lmfao
Since I lack cable or streaming services that cover NASCAR, my main method to experience races is MRN and PRN radio broadcasts. They do an amazing job covering these races, and I knew everything important going on in the race. Like the Las Vegas race this weekend where they even continued updating about things like the 23's wheel nut issues and why people were laps down, etc. Honestly, I feel like I experience the race better with the radio than the times I've been at a friends to watch the race on TV sometimes. If tv broadcasts want a good example to learn from, they are already at the tracks, just not on camera.

I think Brad and Joey in the booth are dynamic as hell, they seem close, and they piggy back off one another with humor and analysis nascar needs to get something like that in the booth on any network in the future,

I go back and watch old fox races and the production quality from the early 2000s is unparalleled. They were so good.
Regardless of the thoughts on Jamie Little, personally, I'm happy and super proud of her! Say what you want, but she's worked her butt off to get to where she is and be given the opportunity to be in the booth.
I see it as more of a Mini promotion. Since it's the lower series, she could probably learn alot.
It’s great that she earned a chance in the booth. Nothing wrong with that. We also now know she isn’t good at it. It’s time for her to be done in the booth. Nothing wrong with that either.

FOX needs to treat Nascar as a sporting event, not a comedy show. I hate the comic drawings. I also hate that they force Clint Bowyer & Michael Waltrip to act like class clowns. If you listen to those guys during qualifying, they actually are good analysts. FOX even did a skit last year where they had Bob Pockrass acting like a drunken fool. Very cringe.
I think Kevin Harvick coming Into The NASCAR on FOX Booth made NASCAR on FOX Better In My Opinion.
I don’t hate Harvick, but I am also not sold on him. One thing I’d like them to try is just Harvick and Joy. It always seems like Bowyer is running him over.
I’ve called out Fox/NBC on their mistakes for years. I wish neither of them signed a 7-year extension
Whoever the producer at FOX is, I don't think they are a race fan. They love gimmicky camera angles. Extreme close ups, bumper cam, splitter cam, brake pedal cam. I just want to see the race.
Get rid of Jamie Little in the booth for the Truck Series. Put Jamie McMurray in place of Clint Bowyer. The XFINITY Series should only have Cup Drivers in the booth occasionally
Ok. Have NBC To Broadcast/Cover The Entire NASCAR Cup Series Season, And As Well As The Entire NASCAR Xfinity Series, On The CW.
They should take the NASCAR Xfinity announcers and put them in for the truck series races as well. Or at least Adam Alexander. And I don’t care how they do it, but these announcers have to be at the race tracks if that includes two different networks doing it that’s fine but it’s a must
The cameras being too close is an interesting issue. It's nice to have those cool shots but they just can't use them as the live shot on a restart or at the end of the race.
I don't even think those shots are cool. Do we need to see a full screen close up of Tyler Reddick's rear window?

Also we all can't be armchair quarterbacks.
I don't get the hate for Jamie Little. I like her authenticity. Sure, not as the lead in the booth, but as a supporting member, I definitely like her presence. She has worked in motorsports for a long time.
All I know is if a cup driver is doing the ARCA or Xfinity race, then I’m pretty sure they’re at the track

I always wondered, since 2015, the Xfinity Series on Fox or FS1/FS2(sometimes) doesn't use the same commentary team as the Cup Series. I would watch it more, if Joy, Bowyer(questionable, maybe put McMurray or even better Larry Mac as replacement) and Harvick. Like how they used to do in the early 2000's.

Some truck races are probably in person unless FOX is giving Jamie Little a private plane/helicopter to go to the track for the cup races as she is a pit reporter. The only other thing is if Jamie does not do pit reporting all the time now. I'm not entirely sure
When SVG got third two weeks ago at Atlanta, they didn’t even interview him, but they interviewed 1st, 2nd and 12th. 🤦♀️

I will disagree with you on the graphics. At Daytona in particular, 90% of the time the scoring pylon only showed the car's manufacturer. Do they think Joey is going to switch from ford to chevy in the middle of the race? I want to see the intervals. And cycle through the whole field more.
There have been or were planned to be Cup drivers in the booth for every xfinity race so far this year but sure "it's not clear if the xfinity booth is remote"

RGP: No. Just because it's bad doesn't mean that's the status quo at the time. One day NASCAR on Fox will get their crap together or risk getting presently bankrupt. Right now, The chips are placed on NBC. I'm not sure about NASCAR on streaming platforms. I'm not really fond of Peacock as well as Paramount Plus. And ESPN and Disney Plus are a literal virtual hell even with collabs with Hulu.
I can do without the "under the helmet" clip hogging up the action on track. Who the hell care's!
Some of the cartoons capture the drivers likeness well. Others are god awful misses.

I'm sorry but i think the biggest thing that bothers me about Fox is that with their dull commentary they ruin great finish's. A call by an announcer can make a moment 100x more memorable. I mean look at the NFL "DIGGS, SIDELINE, TOUCHDOWN! VIKINGS WIN IT" you can instantly attach the call to the moment. And with Cota 2022 and Atlanta 2023 it was just dull and uninspired. Sure we will always remember the moment. But a call can make it even more memorable. And sadly Fox and even sometimes NBC does a terrible job at delivering that. Fox is ruining great finishes. And if we had the calls that Darrell, Mike Joy and Larry Mac did back in the early 2000's, I think Nascar would be much more popular. An announcers adds to the moments, Adds severity to an average viewer. Mike Joy being the only one talking doesn't do that.
The Fox producer worked his way up through the graphics department. He was involved with the new Racehub set a few years ago.

You can see during the truck races if they show jamie or anyone else in the booth its just tv screens
@@bighatLJ it’s without a doubt remote during the second half of the year when nbc is doing xfinity and cup but it’s just doesn’t make sense in the first half

Well, I for one completely disagree with your assessment on trucks and XFINITY! I really like Jamie in the booth! If you're gonna dump someone, get rid of Micheal! I also love the cup guys at the EXFINITY races! They bring knowledge and understanding to the racing that I like hearing about. They are also pretty funny much of the time and that is refreshing as well.
I like Jamie McMurray. Delete Boyer and add Jaime.
Jamie Little is a great pit road reporter, BUT I can't stand her in the booth doing play by play, it's HORRIBLE. It pains me to have to watch the truck races 75% on mute. Her go to line is "How about so and ao they having a great drive" or "How about this or How about that" uhghh cringe

She sounds like a weather women reporting in the middle of a hurricane when she gets "excited" at the end of a race
They need IDK player to call their xfinity or truck races

How, and Why? Fox is noticeable worst the NBC. And Don’t say Burton, or JR. They bring life to the broadcast. Fox fumbles their words. Gets facts wrong, and has shitty camera work.
