    I love this video. I like that calm style, no hype :) For me, the perfect combo is 1)24-105 and 2) 24mm. Both 77mm filter thread so I can use the same ND filter.

    Love your work .. this focal length looks even more amazing with the location and of course the gorgeous model! I am totally convinced to get a 24mm prime now, thanks so much for such a wonderful reveal.

      Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad to hear that you found the information helpful and that it has convinced you to consider a 24mm prime lens. A 24mm prime lens can indeed be a versatile and excellent choice, especially for capturing a wide field of view while still maintaining a natural perspective. It's great for various types of photography, including landscapes, environmental portraits, and street photography.
      If you have any more questions or if there's anything else you'd like to know as you explore photography with your new lens, feel free to ask. Happy shooting, and I hope you create some fantastic images with your 24mm prime lens!

    In general, I am not very attached to my equipment, but if there is something that I regret having sold, it is this lens. Far the only thing I've missed from the things I've been changing over the years.

    • @the_daniel_life
      @the_daniel_life  ปีที่แล้ว

      It sounds like you have a strong attachment to a particular lens that you regret selling. Photography equipment often becomes more than just tools; they can hold sentimental value and memories associated with the images captured using them.
      If you find that this particular lens brought a unique quality or style to your photography that you haven't been able to replicate with other equipment, it's understandable why you might miss it. Sometimes, certain lenses have a distinct character, rendering, or focal length that becomes integral to a photographer's style.
      If circumstances allow, you might consider tracking down a similar lens or exploring lenses with similar characteristics to see if they resonate with you in a similar way. Technology advances, and there might be newer lenses that offer comparable or even enhanced features.
      In any case, the personal connection we form with our gear can be a unique aspect of the creative process. If there's anything specific about the lens or if you have more questions or thoughts to share, feel free to do so.

      Well, I am in doubt whether to go for the same one or the new RF 1.8. I like that it is lighter and smaller, but I know the EF very well and what I have seen of the RF has not left me completely convinced.

    Hi Daniel. Besten Dank für deine Videos. Welches Objektiv wäre deine Empfehlung als Low Light Vlogging lens F1.4 und eben auch für die Fotografie? Hatten eigentlich das Auge auf dem Sigma 24mm F1.4 Art Canon EF (an EOS R3 und R6).
    Aber der Autofocus Motor ist recht „laut“.
    Wie ist der Sound des Canon 24mm F1.4?
    Schöne Grüße,
    Daniel und Jessi

      Hey ihr Beiden. Danke für euren Kommentar. Wenn ihr die R3 und die R6 habt, würde ich auf jeden Fall ein RF-Objektiv nutzen. Das EF 24mm II ist insofern besser als das Sigma, weil ich bei dem Sigma doch recht starke Vignettierungen habe. Falls ich euch einen günstigen und trotzdem lichtstarken Vorschlag machen darf, schreibt mir gerne eine Mail. (ich schicke euch einen Link). Grüße aus Köln, Daniel

      @@the_daniel_life Hi Daniel. Gruß in die alte Heimat nach Köln. Hätten gerne deinen Affiliate Link genutzt, aber wir leben in Thailand... :)
      Vllt. gibst du uns den Tipp auch ohne Provision? Wir würde uns freuen.
      Das Problem ist, dass wir nach einem LowLight Objektiv suchen (Foto, aber auch vlogging) und da gibt es ja nichts um die F1.4 bei den RFs...
      Daher hatten wir nun auf das Canon EF 24 F1.4 geschaut. Bzgl. dem "Sound" und der Lautstärke, kannst du da was zu sagen?
      Liebe Grüße,
      Daniel und Jessi 👋🍀

    Great review! Too bad there is a crop on the R 4k. This lens is on my list, but for now, using the Rokinon 24mm 1.5T on my R5

    How does it perform on gimbals? You mentioned it being front heavy on the EOS R. Would it be a huge issue?

    • @the_daniel_life
      @the_daniel_life  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, it‘s not to heavy but it is to tight for the DJI Ronin SC. It might work with the DJI Ronin S

      I think they have released a II version of the Ronin S

    Hallo, danke! Is it worth using this lens on a Canon 250D (crop sensor camera)? I'm more interested in portrait photography and sometimes video.

    • @the_daniel_life
      @the_daniel_life  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, I used it on crop as well, which worked fine. However, I would go for a 35mm, which gives you almost a 50mm. Daniel

    Please please pleeeease! Use a lens hood... prevents flares and protect the front element if dropped... as important as the mask is to limit COVIID propagation 😉... As always! Great video! 👍🏻👍🏻📷☺
