I was also surprised by how good they are on the road. Most of my riding has been in wet Scottish weather and I’ve had no problems either then whatsoever
Great review! For better traction off-road like mudd, try to air down a little. Doung so will also wear your tyres quicker though. Ask me how I know haha.

Rode them on my WR250X supermoto in all seasons, on gravel, track, street and singletrack. As long as there is no deep mud off road (preferably in the dry) they perform admirably. For a low power low weight motorcycle I was able to squeeze 20 000 km out of them. Highly recommended.
Great review, really tempted, if Pirelli could give you some MT60 RS that would allow a back to back view, I take them on gravel etc and they do well but are awesome on dry and wet roads as they are a supermoto 60:40 tyres. Only downside is they wear out quickly, 5000-6000kms, and tread blocks not huge for the loose stuff, sending good vibes, JB 🏴

Hey, thank you so much, mate! Honestly, I did not even think about that because I did not notice any difference. Since they are 80% road tyres I don't think that it will have a big difference. My fuel average was similar to the Pirelli phantoms that I had before.
15000km seems like a lot for this type of tyre? is that a lot of km? im new to learning about tyres and i thought 80/20s like this wouldnt get 15000km, are you close to replacing them?

i have the 1290 sas 2023, and this tire, iam on 9k on the rear, and i still have about 2k more left. i power wheelie , tour long distances and offroad. i ride in sport mode. so your comment is not for everyone. what tire pressures did you have them on?

I am on 17 000 at this point and if I didn't slash the tire I could get at least 1000 km. My friend changed them on 16 000. What do you do with them, mate?
@@nicof4991 It depends on lots of factors. Weight of the bike, your weight, tire size, terrain, temperature, and style of the riding. I ride 70-80km avg. and 70% on the road. Rest is all kinds of terrain and offroad. I've avoided riding on asphalt during hot summer days.
I am 179 cm tall. I think it will be too small for you and stock suspension is not adequate for that weight. But i've seen some tall people riding them with no problem. It would be best to try it before.
I have taller friends on xsr and for some it's quite uncomfortable. One of them upgraded to the r nineT. Best for you to test ride one before you buy. Stock suspension isn't great but has improved slightly on the newer model (from 2022)
It is so hard to find a bike for a tall person . I love xsr 700, cb650r sv650 . I guess I have to learn to live with smaller bike . R nine t is amazing too but too expensive for me . I live in Ireland and prices here are so high . Every bike is at least 20-30% more expensive than all other countries

Hello, love the video. I consider buying the tyre for my KTM 790. I would like to know are they noisy at the speeds over 90km/h (60 miles/h).

I’m amazed these lasted 15k km! Heard they’re great tyres but on a ktm1290 SAS apparently they won’t last longer than 2k miles at the rear 😮
It depends on lots of factors, mine lasted around 16 400 km and i could get at least 2000 more it i did not slash the reaer on rocks.
