I'm using a Dolce gusto americano with frothy milk keeps it strong but lungo and frothy milk is best

i thought there was gonna be a sit down...is it better than delonghi stuff which breaks down in less than a year? (even if you follow the maintenance suggestions, i've learned 3x)

Yes, you can try making Americano with this machine. Just add hot water using the steaming feature in a double espresso shot.

We use it for about three people everyday in the morning. The taste and quick brew is one of the reasons we like it so much. There are so many choices of brands of coffee that we would grab what was on sale and test the different brands from there. I would definitely recommend trying different brands of coffee to find the ones you like the most because there are brands that quite frankly taste horrible.

Girl. Your grind is way too course for espresso. This coffee more than likely tastes sour and not well extracted. Espresso needs to be ground to nearly powder.
With the pressurized basket that comes with it, it makes it to where you can use grind sizes that are bigger and fluctuate. If your using a bottomless portafilter that’s when you need super fine grinds
This is not a place where people understand what an espresso is. 🙄
Unfortunately, this machine fails to meet expectations. The reviews looked promising, so I decided to buy one from Amazon. It never brew a single cup. When I checked the manual, the troubleshooting solution said contact support. Still waiting for a reply.
Did you remove the red silicone?

Looks terrible, too much milk destroys a good espresso
Add less milk/cream as you see fit.
Everyone has different tastes. Most people don't like espresso
