In this case timing belt is over tensioned.....you can adjust the belt tensioner on behind pointer up to a level that should comes in between those two slots... 👍

A question: The E torx crankcase plug bolt is E11 or E14 socket size? in some videos i have seen E11 but the manual says E14. Maybe this differes for various k9k types

Yes, some models have E11 and others having E14. Standard bolt size for Renault vehicles is E14. As they are supplying engine for Nissan and other companies the bolt size varies.

Yes, engine removed for training purpose. Yes arrow need to be in correct place, just make it advanced because it will become little bit loose while tightening. 🙏

Timing belt replacement period is 1 lakh km, don't take risk, I have previous experience with duster having belt slippage after 1.4 lakh km. Gear oil is said to be lifetime but it has a replacement period of 180000 km or if you are removing gear box for clutch replacement we need to change gear oil. Gear oil grade is 80W90 GL4.

85000 km is the replacement schedule as per manufacturer. don't go beyond 1 lakh km.

@@keralamedia7834 In Some cars Engine head will have minor modification's to suit the engine room design, starter motor of some engines will be in opposite side, except these, all engine components are same, ie, piston, connecting rod, valves, crank shaft, bearings etc. All these engines are Renault K9K engine
