I was smiling the entire video. Grandma is so wholesome and caring. She did not want you to leave. She tried to get your friend to marry her daughter which was the best part of the video imo. This was refreshing to watch 💯
Grandmas will always be grandmas always taking good care of her grandchild...reminiscing those childhood days, slipping money into our hands without grandpa noticing ...Grandmas are just so sweet and they are a bonus blessing given to us by our Creator 😊 What a kind soul... Its emotional❤ Blessed are those who gives without expecting anything in return... Bless her with long life and good health. Hope you will keep visiting her.
Idk how to explain it but I feel like all grandmas around the world have the same loving energy its soooo heartwarming
No. I'm American. My grandmother was nothing like that.
Ah..dang- sry to hear abt that, well a loving grandma doesn't have to be biological - there's always role models you can look to @@missellyssa
@@missellyssa ok I’m sorry your grandma didn’t have a heartwarming loving energy. Sad ig 🤷🏻♀️
@@missellyssa bro just can't let a good thing be good
@TragicXOOfficial It just doesn't make any sense yk, it's like saying all mothers have a loving energy, like, no. Not all of them. Being a parent doesn't turn you into a good person and some of them are awful, that's why we should be especially appreciative of people like Vietnamese grandma 🙏
You said "Bà ơi" so lovely, how kind and happy both grandma and nephew!
Everyone should have a grandma like her in their life! Such a sweetie ❤ Also mad props for speaking Vietnamese! I’m so jealous of people that learn tonal languages.
You captured grandmas heart and trust...important of all no matter you dont speak well their language. Heart speaks faithfully! Long life to Grandma ❤
So sweet of you too embrace our culture and Grandma.. speaking the language and respecting the elders like you do ❤.. it's our culture to give
But how is it just your culture when it is his culture and his grandmother
@@bibiwithlove5317it’s not his culture he is a travel youtuber and it’s not his actual grandma
@@Ky-tz4pf really? But I thought this was his real grandmother...I'm so confused now
@@bibiwithlove5317 I don’t know much about his channel but it doesn’t seem like they are blood related he just calls her grandma maybe because it’s respectful? I’m not really sure but I can assure you they are not “real” grandson and grandmother
She's so sweet. Giving you back that money and just wanting to feed you. OMG protect this woman!
I’m from nyc ,32
I was raised by my grandma she’s full blown Puerto Rican but she married a Vietnamese man who also spoke French….she loved the Vietnamese culture and also mixed with the Latino love, this gave me good memories of my grandmother and also now I want to learn Vietnamese and learn more about my Vietnamese family
👍
it just shows how knowing the language can allow you to connect with the local so much. GOOD JOB CHRIS, you are amazing!
Tặng bà đúng dịp lễ tết lì xì kèm theo chúc sức khỏe chắc bà sẽ nhận!! Tình cảm người Việt Nam là vậy, đông đầy yêu thương sắc sâu vẹn đường!!
A good woman is such a blessing. She reminds me of my grandma. A truly beautiful person. She made sure everyone was fed and feeling at home. God bless you for the video and her for just being. The world needs more people like this.
What a wonderful grandma she loves you and takes great care of you all. Bless Her.

Cảm ơn Chris đã spreaded cuộc sống, văn hoá và đất nước Viêt Nam đến Thế Giới. Thanks
Đúng vậy, anh bạn tay phương Chris rất là hiền lành dễ thương 👍
I just recently visited my family after 6 years again and seeing how you are so educated in our culture reminds me when I visited them. Everyone is so beautiful and lovely it makes my heart melt! I love your videos and will continue on watching them.
It‘s a good way to practice my speaking and listening in Vietnamese too!🥰❤
nice bro! Are you half Vietnamese bro?
A true mama, I would so give beautiful healing/loving energy to her no questions asked. Bless her.
True love never dies. It doesn't matter where you are from or who you are, the relationship is there for all to see.
I absolutely love it when you go visit grandma. You can really feel her wholesomeness and they she really gets happy when you guys come! ❤️
i love grandma so much. youre guys relationship makes me so happy. i just wish grandma wasn't so stubborn and would accept your kindness. truly a great woman who spent too long being the head of a family.
What a truly wondeful human being she is. Not everyone there is fond of "foreigners", but she is truly a special lady.
Shes like the vietnamese version of my irish Nan. Always poor materially but always giving and thinking of everyone. Always something in the cupboard. Always feeding you. When you joined the family you were added to her list of stuff to get for the cupboard. Miss you Nan. ❤
Same with my Pennsylvania Dutch grandma 😢 Love and miss her so much
I miss her going to the cupboard for a pack of socks or a cadbury selection box (with a questionable use by date as purchased at the market). Thinking of everyone and saying "your looking very thin I'll get you some tea and toast" in her broad, beautiful Dublin accent even when we'd all clearly put on weight.
Oh, your grandma is definitely rich in other ways if she is anything like this grandma.
Very kind hearted Grandma. I wish her Good health and fortune in life. I wish there's lot of people like her... and you too Chris!
I love this. This is why learning languages is so important. It opens up the chance to really connect with people and brings so much joy to all.
Grandmas around the world are similar around the world. You are a great grandson to go and see her and spend time with her. It’s something she and you will never forget and that’s very special
She is so cute it make me cry, such a sweet lady, reminds me of my French grandmother.
Grandma is so cute. I love how she keeps feeding you. What a sweet woman.
That's everyone's grandma. So sweet. You are a wonderful person for treating her well and giving her respect 🙏🏽
This is why I really love Viet Nam, so many kind in heart and pure soul people. 🥺
What’s a lovely grandma. I think she’s Chinese Vietnamese and she makes me thinking of my mom.
She’s really love you, Chris ❤
Vietnamese are much more friendly than Chinese in general.. You dont see this much in China. Right now, Chinese media is talking bad about all foreigners but they dont like Americans the most, because of Taiwan and geo-politics, Sabbatical was just in China, and many Chinese people walked away from him when he said he was American.
@@tubester4567 i don't blame them - they've lied themselves into wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Serbia, Vietnam, have been involved in wars in somalia, yemen, sudan, and a whole host of other countries, and they have more than 600 military bases around the world and more than 300 biological facilities all over the world. Most recently, they've written a blank check to ukraine to encourage more shredding of slavic lives, and now they've found their way back into more intervention in the middle east. look up wesley clark's interview on the 7 countries that they were seeking destroy, much of which i've already mentioned. Last one is Iran, and it's all to convenient that they've begun a conflict in iran's backyard. America and the western countries haven't been a positive presence in the world, if we're frank.

Awww - this makes my heart so very happy. What a wonderful human-to-human interaction and genuine love and kindness.
She is so happy to see you and particularly your gifts mean a lot to her. This is a way to wish her business well. She goes to the moon. 😊

aww i love grandma, she really treats you like her son/family, so genuinely happy seeing you.
Chris is unbelievably on point in language and blends well, very well with local as a native. Without watching him, just listening I can’t tell he is a foreigner. Such a talent!❤
I have fallen in love with the Vietnamese culture through your videos, Chris. I now dream about visiting grandma or the little shops with Max and you. Hahah
Should learn some Vietnamese so you can interact. It will be much better experience when you do travel.
Watching this video, make me feel like i m iin my grandmother's house, hearing cantonese , yak fan, ho hyak ma,,
