The general story about DS9 as a set was that it was a lot more serious than other Trek shows, especially compared to TNG where the actors goofed around nearly all the time. But even in serious shows, there are bloopers... so I suspect it's more of ... either the bloopers weren't that funny, or they are being suppressed for some reason
