It's interesting to see the character development. For instance Rom. The first season you see him once or twice and he is the complete opposite of what he is later on. He initially is just a stereotypical greedy ignorant ferenghi that apparently doesn't know anything about technology or engineering and later in the show he becomes a more kind hearted understanding brilliant engineer. They kinda did a 180 on him, but it's still cool the writers took the time to develop even him, a completely background character. Whilst nowadays you have writers who can't even properly elaborate on a main character.

@@coolbeans4u I mean, don't get me wrong. It's a very silly episode and I'm sure that if you were expecting anything remotely serious you'd be left fuming, but I think it still manages to be entertaining rather than a straight up bad episode. A guilty pleasure if you would.
