I want this game to have real thought out boss fights . I want the court of owls to be a real threat to gotham and the bat family . I want the city to be alive and interact with each other , villains , and the bat family . I want the game to explore the relationship with Nightwing and his great grand father who's a Talon .

I hope theyll have a dlc where they show how bruce experienced whatever happened to him. Im expecting them to tell us how he died but i wanna experience it as bruce.
For me, if Joker is in the game-and is still active as a villain/criminal-then that suggests that Batman is still alive. If they go the opposite direction and maybe show Joker unmotivated like he no longer has a purpose, then that could help affirm the idea that Batman is dead (and they could still turn around and bring him back if they did that).
Maybe if we see jasons nicer side to see completely crazy cus batman has died and maybe he just brings him in instead if killing him. Maybe also with a flashback to bruce making jason second guess himself and not load his gun with one live round he took just to kill joker. Maybe that doesnt make sense. I dont know. Just spur of the moment spitballing. Sorry
I saw another comment on another video about this that was hoping for decision making, such as who to fight what boss with and other interactions. I bring this up because fighting Joker with Redhood could be an extremely impactful and emotional sequence, where unlike with other characters, you have the opportunity to exact your revenge and kill him once and for all, or cling to the last of Batman's teachings and bring him in alive.

@@jervin8132 That would be awesome you know, I think Alfred would be great because 1. He has used a gun before to defend himself (This occurred in Batman Telltale I THINK and also in a comic) 2. He has extensive knowledge of the bat-computer, we could play as him and do some sort of decoding. Maybe something similar to the decoding process in Spider-man PS4 3. This may be far fetched BUT what if Alfred got fitted into some sort of Batsuit like the Mech suit from The Dark Knight Returns or the Hellbat suit 4. Maybe we can fly the batwing? I'm in the "I Want Batman to be Dead so we can let these characters shine and tell a new story" camp. For sure, they need to put in the hard work to make us care and understand the effect this version of Batman had on these characters. I just think it would be more cliche to have him still be alive and undercut that story potential.
I think its dumb that you can get the same outcome in the story with all the characters. It kind of makes me think the game is going to be very short in terms of plot and too focused on Co OP when some ppl just want to enjoy that casual singleplayer
I feel like joker should be a side villain and the in the end of act 2 joker descends into a side mission that's 3hrs,I also think each other side mission should be 2hrs
I really want to see each hero's personality in their fighting style. _Arkham City_ did this with Catwoman with her kissing opponents and showing off her curves but all that was entirely in character for her. I can see Nightwing being really jokey as he KO's a thug and Red Hood violently stomping on someone he's already taken down. I really don't know how Barbara or Tim Drake fight to guess what they'd do.
People should just believe them why: 1 if he's actually dead people will be disappointed because they made themselves believe he would be in it 2 if he's actually in it it's a welcome suprise
This has been my approach I’m just happy to get some BatFam content and don’t want to speculate much about Batman even if he is my favorite character, however I would like possible DLC content with Batman maybe about events that happen before he “dies” so we get to see this universes take on Batman and we can learn about his relationship thru the others by playing the main story and how they speak about him
@@MikeJones-bm4wu which is why I felt the best compromise is a prequel dlc story about what Batman was investigating before his “death” so fans can get to know this Batman and get to play as him and then people won’t complain at least as much about him not being in the main story
I think with Batman being “dead” Joker should be a small cut scene showing that he’s no longer really a threat cause he’s given up as a villain. Like he doesn’t do crime anymore and the bat family don’t try to arrest him he just exists.
That kind of Happens in Death of the family (under the red hood) where Bruce saves Jason but dies in his Place and Joker retires until years Later Jason goes to a diner to find Joker but his face is painted a normal color and his hair is brown (search it up it’s a really cool scene) this kind of has nothing to do with this but it’s pretty cool
For me personally I disagree with number one. I get each version of Batman is unique but I don’t feel I need Batman alive in this game. He’s had four games and has been a part of other huge games and movies. I understand their reasoning of this is a cool and unique premise which can stand on its own without needing a ton of info on Batman. I agree we should learn about this version of who he was but I don’t need him in the game to do that. I want these other Batman characters to be the spotlight and main characters and having Batman pass away and pass on his responsibility to these characters works as a way to keep the focus on them in an interesting way. Plus I feel we will and can learn about this version through these characters dealing with his death in a more interesting way than just directly showing us another slightly different version of a character who has had so much media coverage.
I wonder if they will have something planned for Jason. Maybe he is having a dilemma about his kill/no kill rule since he wants to avenge bruce so bad and there can be a side mission for it. Maybe it can be about that while also dealing with the Joker in the side mission for Jason Todd specifically

Jason is having a dilemma with his no kill rule and disagreeing with dick and tim (Barbra is off doing something.) about something like talon and jason goes off on his own for a lil while and plans to avenge bruce bc of some that happened with the talon and then joker starts murdering people and one of the victims looks like bruce and jason loses his mind then finds out that its joker and there could be na optional ending thing like azreal in knight. Where you can kill or save joker. But only one ending is canon
I'm going to act as if Gotham knights is just an alternate universe to Suicide Squad which was split from the knightfall protocol. In my opinion it will just be more enjoyable to act that way.
I hope the motorcycle isn't relied on 100% for bosses and 2/3 of the game. Wish it has the animations from the dark knight bike where the wheels spin to make turns. So badass
Batman always has multiple contingency plans set Way in advance, its how he operates. However with the Court of Owls established as the primary antagonistic force there’s no way he’s really gone. The Court has him and chances are he’s going to be brainwashed and turned into a Talon and it’ll be an overarching storyline that the Batfamily has to deal with at least for the duration of this story if not a potential sequel. Personally I hope he’s “dead” for a minute to let other characters shine because for me the biggest flaw in the Arkham games especially “Arkham Knight” is the lack of supporting characters, my favorite being Robin ever since the Batman Animated Series. ✌️
When hearing you guys talk about having more reasons to explore the world, I thought of maybe having it so you BUILD the alternate costumes for the characters. Exploring the world and finding, collecting, possibly doing missions for, the parts to build these costumes. It’d be extra awesome if different costumes had different perks as well.
Late to the party here but I'd love a joker cameo like in black mirror. He doesn't think batman's dead, so he's just planning his scheme for when batman returns
I'm curious about what people think about Joker being a sort of ally. He is very dependent on Batman, and I'm interested in a possible story about Joker wanting to get back at the person or group responsible for taking Batman away from him. He could be an informant of a kind or something similar, and the heroes, specifically Batgirl and Red Hood, have to put aside their grudges against him to save Gotham. Of course he would likely turn on the heroes and have a final boss fight, and I think he could make an excellent addition
Well if Robin, Batgirl, Nightwing and Red hood are the only playable characthers then this is basically just marvel avengers but dc instead. i honestly dont know what to expect from this. it looks like insomniac's spiderman but with 4 dc characthers instead.
Seeing the level system with enemies in Gotham Knights genuinely has me concerned that it will end up being the DC version of The Avengers game. I’m having 50/50 thoughts on whether the game will be worth purchasing. I pre ordered Avengers and wasted (in my opinion) $60 on a game that got boring and repetitive way too fast. I hope Gotham Knights is really set within the Arkham universe (even if developers say that it isn’t) and that it will be its own game while set in the Arkham Universe.
I don’t know how I feel about it tbh I hope it has an Arkham feel. I wanna see crime investigating. Actual use for certain gear where u need to use it to get to a certain objective. I don’t want bad fight scenes but I don’t want “beat them ups” either if that makes sense. Like cities version of mr freeze. It wasnt a beat em up but u had to really try and think to get him
The full knight fall protocol showed us a shadow like Batman. Although we could tell it was the Batman, it looked just like him. I think he is still alive
i hope that you can choose which bat clan member you can be, and aren't forced into a character, and you get an achievement for playing the whole game as that character, so you can have more replay ability
I’m happy with the 4 Bat family members chosen. However, I REALLY wanted to use/main Azrael 😪 (from Arkham city/Knight games, NOT Azrael from the comics)
It’d also be cool to see other villains show up a little, like a few times lex Went up against Batman in the comics. Or to see maybe Prometheus show up kgb would be cool maybe copper sum lesser known people
Here's why I personally think this game went for an alternate universe route. Call it overly simple, but it's Batgirl. WB Montreal really wanted to make a game about Batman's family but Barabra being Oracle and paralyzed severely limited that. So they decided to make something non canon and that basically led them to also decide on development of something a bit different from other Arkham titles. So this Batman came from a place of BEING Batman from the Arkham series. That's what I think happened but that's just me.
Would be cool if Joker is mentioned as a character and become possibly a big main villain in a DLC that challenges the Bat family without their leader/father figure. Maybe the main story can show the Joker rarely, on mentioned to have disappeared since Batman is gone, and reappears in the DLC to take down the bat family since they’re not Batman and can’t replace him least in Joked’s opinion.
Here are my thoughts about batman. As a huge fan of Batman and his comics, I am okay with Bruce Wayne not being in this game at all. I think WB Montreal should go a different route with Dick Grayson taking the mantel. Yes, I am a huge fan of Bruce Waynes Batman, but I think WB Montreal could do a wonderful job with expanding the Dick Grayson Batman line, bring Tim drake and make him a Red robin and bring in Damien Wayne as the new robin. Obviously not in this game. but in future games. I want Batman in this game, but it doesn't need to be Bruce Wayne. But to contradict my self I don't think it would sell well to the general public with them using Dick Grayson as Batman.
My current head cannon is that we saw Bruce at the end of the Gotham Knights trailer and that’s him in the Court of Owls mask looking to find more info on them after faking his death but nows a caretaker for the Talons . Which then he tries helping me Bat Fam from behind he scenes
You hit the nail on the head with saying they may be like "You should care because it's Batman." That's how the movie side has been working for too long. They don't care to develop characters.
One thing I hope for, and as much as I like Barbra, I would like to see the killing joke be intertwined into the story and see how the characters react to that, (as far as the bat-family goes), and I feel as though would be very cool to not only see in a video game but play through it as well.
As much as I love Batman if they’re saying he’s dead I want him to stay dead. I think it would be cool to have the beginning tutorial stuff be Batman’s last battle with joker that ends with both of them dying. That way we don’t have batman or joker overshadowing everyone else
There's a lot of things that I want to see in this game but here are five things. 1. I really want to see Batman in this game. I know this is a bat family game but maybe in the early section of the game we get to see the bat family fighting along side Batman and that would be a little backstory on how he died in this game, if he's dead. Maybe we can play as Batman a little bit in the early section of the story but not too much. Now, if none of that is possible, maybe we can have Batman playable in Challenge Mode or maybe in a short DLC featuring him. If that happens, I would like to see Kevin Conroy voice Batman but that's probably not gonna happen because I heard rumors that he's voicing Batman in the new Suicide Squad game being made by Rocksteady. 2. I really wanna see Mark Hamil and Tara Strong return to the voices of The Joker and Harley Quin. Now the issue here is that Tara Strong is already working with Rocksteady on their new Suicide Squad game so I don't know if she's interested in doing both. 3. I wanna see unlockable costumes so we don't have to buy them all. 4. I want to be able to interact with civilians. 5. I wanna see gadget upgrades. Whether they do it just like Insomniac did in Spider-Man: PS4/PS5 Remaster and Spider-Man: Miles Morales or they do it like Rocksteady did in Batman: Arkham Asylum, City and Knight or WB Montreal can do it how they did in Batman: Arkham Origins. Anyway, I wanna see gadget upgrades. Bonus: I don't wanna see any riddler trophies in this game.
Before even watching the video, I want an Alfred Silent Predator map like the Joker one from Arkham Asylum where he’s taking out intruders at the mansion.
I kinda wanna see deathstroke I think that would be cool. Or I could imagine deathstoke being a villain to play as maybe he fights nightwing in a story mission there could be a deathstoke story line where you play as nightwing.
I think it would be cool if you play as Batman for the first couple of missions and you get to know this Batman better and care for him then they kill him so it gives a impact
“I already picked out my main” facts! If I play this with my friends and they choose red hood, we won’t be friends anymore. No one will take my boy away from Me. Jokes aside, I really hope this game is good, I’m so excited to play characters that don’t get much love in games. I hope it isn’t an avengers situation, where it’s a disappointment, I really hope it does well. I’m super excited for it.
If this game does have DLC then I’d love to see a Matter of Family type thing but for Batman instead, so like an event taking place before the game where you can play as Batman, if they where going to add Batman as a playable character that’s probably the best way they could do it
A thing that I personally don't understand at all is why GK is set in a different universe to the Arkham games and still managing to feel like sequel to said games while SSK is supposedly set in the Arkhamverse and at the same time having no connection at all to said universe. Idk, feels like a weird decision.
For me personally. I want the game to be it's own thing but with the open world of the Arkham games and others games like spider-man and jedi fallen order. and to feel unique with its fighting and everything. and when it comes to them adding characters other than the main 4 if they do, i want them to be careful with it and have a purpose. not just adding them in with no context or a good explanation. props to avengers for adding characters that for the most part can be enjoyable but most of them felt out of place and a bit odd
I don't want joker as the main villain but he also shouldn't be on the same level as say freeze because of his unique connection to everyone in the batfamily and as batmans sort of nemesis he should still be up there but not the main villain.

It could be nothing, and Batman really is dead, but I looked on IMDB and saw that there is a voice actor for Bruce Wayne, and Batman. It could just be from flashbacks or something, but it also could possibly mean Batman is still alive. Great video! 👍

I'm curious about what people think about Joker being a sort of ally. He is very dependent on Batman, and I'm interested in a possible story about Joker wanting to get back at the person or group responsible for taking Batman away from him. He could be an informant of a kind or something similar, and the heroes, specifically Batgirl and Red Hood, have to put aside their grudges against him to save Gotham. Of course he would likely turn on the heroes and have a final boss fight, and I think he could make an excellent addition

Well if Robin, Batgirl, Nightwing and Red hood are the only playable characthers then this is basically just marvel avengers but dc instead. i honestly dont know what to expect from this. it looks like insomniac's spiderman but with 4 dc characthers instead.
Seeing the level system with enemies in Gotham Knights genuinely has me concerned that it will end up being the DC version of The Avengers game. I’m having 50/50 thoughts on whether the game will be worth purchasing. I pre ordered Avengers and wasted (in my opinion) $60 on a game that got boring and repetitive way too fast. I hope Gotham Knights is really set within the Arkham universe (even if developers say that it isn’t) and that it will be its own game while set in the Arkham Universe.
I really really want a lively, big Gotham with Gotham atmosphere that looks both like a real city and also is distinctly Gotham

I don’t know how I feel about it tbh I hope it has an Arkham feel. I wanna see crime investigating. Actual use for certain gear where u need to use it to get to a certain objective. I don’t want bad fight scenes but I don’t want “beat them ups” either if that makes sense. Like cities version of mr freeze. It wasnt a beat em up but u had to really try and think to get him
The full knight fall protocol showed us a shadow like Batman. Although we could tell it was the Batman, it looked just like him. I think he is still alive
i hope that you can choose which bat clan member you can be, and aren't forced into a character, and you get an achievement for playing the whole game as that character, so you can have more replay ability
I’m happy with the 4 Bat family members chosen. However, I REALLY wanted to use/main Azrael 😪 (from Arkham city/Knight games, NOT Azrael from the comics)

Here's why I personally think this game went for an alternate universe route. Call it overly simple, but it's Batgirl. WB Montreal really wanted to make a game about Batman's family but Barabra being Oracle and paralyzed severely limited that. So they decided to make something non canon and that basically led them to also decide on development of something a bit different from other Arkham titles. So this Batman came from a place of BEING Batman from the Arkham series. That's what I think happened but that's just me.
Would be cool if Joker is mentioned as a character and become possibly a big main villain in a DLC that challenges the Bat family without their leader/father figure. Maybe the main story can show the Joker rarely, on mentioned to have disappeared since Batman is gone, and reappears in the DLC to take down the bat family since they’re not Batman and can’t replace him least in Joked’s opinion.
Here are my thoughts about batman. As a huge fan of Batman and his comics, I am okay with Bruce Wayne not being in this game at all. I think WB Montreal should go a different route with Dick Grayson taking the mantel. Yes, I am a huge fan of Bruce Waynes Batman, but I think WB Montreal could do a wonderful job with expanding the Dick Grayson Batman line, bring Tim drake and make him a Red robin and bring in Damien Wayne as the new robin. Obviously not in this game. but in future games. I want Batman in this game, but it doesn't need to be Bruce Wayne. But to contradict my self I don't think it would sell well to the general public with them using Dick Grayson as Batman.

My current head cannon is that we saw Bruce at the end of the Gotham Knights trailer and that’s him in the Court of Owls mask looking to find more info on them after faking his death but nows a caretaker for the Talons . Which then he tries helping me Bat Fam from behind he scenes

You hit the nail on the head with saying they may be like "You should care because it's Batman." That's how the movie side has been working for too long. They don't care to develop characters.

One thing I hope for, and as much as I like Barbra, I would like to see the killing joke be intertwined into the story and see how the characters react to that, (as far as the bat-family goes), and I feel as though would be very cool to not only see in a video game but play through it as well.
I hope as a dlc u can get an Arkham Knight skin for Red-Hood. Not as anything for lore but just for the fans

As much as I love Batman if they’re saying he’s dead I want him to stay dead. I think it would be cool to have the beginning tutorial stuff be Batman’s last battle with joker that ends with both of them dying. That way we don’t have batman or joker overshadowing everyone else

There's a lot of things that I want to see in this game but here are five things.
1. I really want to see Batman in this game. I know this is a bat family game but maybe in the early section of the game we get to see the bat family fighting along side Batman and that would be a little backstory on how he died in this game, if he's dead. Maybe we can play as Batman a little bit in the early section of the story but not too much. Now, if none of that is possible, maybe we can have Batman playable in Challenge Mode or maybe in a short DLC featuring him. If that happens, I would like to see Kevin Conroy voice Batman but that's probably not gonna happen because I heard rumors that he's voicing Batman in the new Suicide Squad game being made by Rocksteady.
2. I really wanna see Mark Hamil and Tara Strong return to the voices of The Joker and Harley Quin. Now the issue here is that Tara Strong is already working with Rocksteady on their new Suicide Squad game so I don't know if she's interested in doing both.
3. I wanna see unlockable costumes so we don't have to buy them all.
4. I want to be able to interact with civilians.
5. I wanna see gadget upgrades. Whether they do it just like Insomniac did in Spider-Man: PS4/PS5 Remaster and Spider-Man: Miles Morales or they do it like Rocksteady did in Batman: Arkham Asylum, City and Knight or WB Montreal can do it how they did in Batman: Arkham Origins. Anyway, I wanna see gadget upgrades.
Bonus: I don't wanna see any riddler trophies in this game.
Before even watching the video, I want an Alfred Silent Predator map like the Joker one from Arkham Asylum where he’s taking out intruders at the mansion.
I kinda wanna see deathstroke I think that would be cool. Or I could imagine deathstoke being a villain to play as maybe he fights nightwing in a story mission there could be a deathstoke story line where you play as nightwing.

I think it would be cool if you play as Batman for the first couple of missions and you get to know this Batman better and care for him then they kill him so it gives a impact

Jokes aside, I really hope this game is good, I’m so excited to play characters that don’t get much love in games. I hope it isn’t an avengers situation, where it’s a disappointment, I really hope it does well. I’m super excited for it.
If this game does have DLC then I’d love to see a Matter of Family type thing but for Batman instead, so like an event taking place before the game where you can play as Batman, if they where going to add Batman as a playable character that’s probably the best way they could do it

A thing that I personally don't understand at all is why GK is set in a different universe to the Arkham games and still managing to feel like sequel to said games while SSK is supposedly set in the Arkhamverse and at the same time having no connection at all to said universe. Idk, feels like a weird decision.

I want the game to be it's own thing but with the open world of the Arkham games and others games like spider-man and jedi fallen order. and to feel unique with its fighting and everything. and when it comes to them adding characters other than the main 4 if they do, i want them to be careful with it and have a purpose. not just adding them in with no context or a good explanation. props to avengers for adding characters that for the most part can be enjoyable but most of them felt out of place and a bit odd
I hope that the joker appears. I hope it focuses on Barbara and Jason, perhaps Jason considers killing him and Barbara goes to attempt to stop Jason.

I don't want joker as the main villain but he also shouldn't be on the same level as say freeze because of his unique connection to everyone in the batfamily and as batmans sort of nemesis he should still be up there but not the main villain.

It could be nothing, and Batman really is dead, but I looked on IMDB and saw that there is a voice actor for Bruce Wayne, and Batman. It could just be from flashbacks or something, but it also could possibly mean Batman is still alive. Great video! 👍
