My complaints too man, I get that it's cool we have the Batmobile now but there's way too much of an overreliance on it. We could have had a perfect opportunity for a Harley Quinn boss battle where say it goes from being a stealth encounter like we had in her DLC for Arkham City but then just as shes about to be taken down it turns into a combat encounter, and you actually have to fight her.
And the nonsensical story: 1. If the Arkham knight knows Bruce so well, why did he send unmanned tanks. If he put his men in the tanks, Bruce wouldn't be able to kill them and he would lose. 2. WTF is that thing with Jokers blood? Like it makes no sense. Jokers blood is fine. Aside from his looks, he is a normal human. 3. The Jason Todd torture flashback implies that Bruce thought that Jason was dead so he took in Tim. But he is imagining a scenario where he thought Jason was dead, but knew he wasn't AND HE STILL DOESN'T FIGURE OUT WHO THE KNIGHT IS! 4. Bruce Wayne is an escape artist and he can take down up to 5 people in a matter of seconds as shown in the game. He did nothing to escape scarecrow and let a B lister reveal his identity. 5. Jason who wanted to kill batman up to now, suddenly wants to help him because he said sorry. 6. Even if Bruce beat the mental aspect of the disease, doesn't he still have to deal with the physical aspect? Oh they also wasted hush and azrael.

One of my favorite things about the game is the GCPD, walking through there was such a satisfying way to see the progress you've made throughout the story, and hearing Cash's side comments on all the stuff in the evidence lockup

Early in the game At the GCPD lockup, after u jail the guy with the broken arm, if you press x near him while he's smack talking you, Batman reaches through the bars and slams his head 😂 Just tiny moments like that in Knight made it feel special
@@bloodhound1182 I love that attention to detail. There's also some things Batman can see in world that change like if I recall correctly there are billboards that can show up as joker hallucinations even.
I should have mentioned the photo mode. Maybe I'll come back and do 5 more things on each side of these lists at some point. That would definitely make it in.
I love this game. It has some of my favorite versions of these classic characters like Man-Bat and Scarecrow, as well as immersive gameplay! The only parts I’ll tag on it for is how they handled Deathstroke, and of course how they insert the Batmobile into everything.
Yeah this game I think has the best Scarecrow he's amazing in every scene he's in although I do think that he is still somewhat underused in this game .
mr mystery They definitely need to bring John Noble back if they decide to bring Scarecrow back for the next Arkham Game (assuming it’s a sequel to Arkham Knight).
Liam Robinson I mean, Owens was the same way for most of the game and he eventually recovered. Scarecrow could eventually recover as well. Even if he doesn’t, that doesn’t mean we still can’t get a cameo from him or something.
I didn’t have a problem with Jason being the knight but it could’ve been done way better. Like by the torture scenes alone it was extremely obvious of who it was. It should’ve been more of an actual investigation with you going through new and returning villains to find his identity

I feel the same, when I played it was in 2020 so I already knew it was Jason, but even if I didn't know I would have guessed it was him because of the flashbacks/hallucinations of him

Honestly, I found myself “not liking” AK over time but still is a great game in my opinion. It’s just little things that came off as lazy from the developers they could have did better. Like the boss battles. Using the bat mobile when it makes sense.

However people are quick to forget that the community WANTED AND BEGGED for us to have the option to use it throughout Arkham City and Arkham Orgins. Honestly I’m happy with how it turned out. I adore how integral to Batman’s kit the Batmobile is. It controls well, has a cool tank function, the world is designed so you can drive it around Gotham, and has a ton of puzzles that you have to use the car for. The Batmobile is a extension of Batman, as it should be. (Sorry for the rant, I just really despise all the complaining about, BATMOBILE IN GAME TOO MUCH LOL)

I think what this game did the best is making Batman feel like an actual human. It's something that we didn't see as much in the previous games and it's a vibrant theme in this one. The fact that you can interact with any character in the game, from the villains to the police officers just makes it more enjoyable. I also feel like the game took much more time developing the philosophical story rather than the playable one which is probably why it has mixed reviews. It is my favourite game in the series and I hope WBM will make an amazing entry with their project.
It's not my favourite (that goes to City, because it has the best story), but it's still way better than other superhero games preceding the Arkham quadrilogy!

I also like that A Matter Of family includes Jason Todd’s robin (kinda) because even tho they call him Tim and he has Tim’s voice actor, at that point in canon robin was technically Jason. Wish they had realized that before developing it tho just to get that extra coolness of having the Jason voice actor.
i really enjoyed knight, the way they handled joker was great. you'd look in one direction, then look in the other and he'd be somewhere else. it was fun playing this late at night
And I also hate it when people say origins isn’t canon there is sooo much proof that proves it is I’ve heard people say only the side missions and the bounty is cannon so you’re telling me that it’s not cannon but literally the main plot points did? Then that means it all happened
I legitimately just ignore people when they say Origins isn't canon now. Sefton Hill said it was, even. On top of that there's half a dozen direct references to its events in Knight. If people don't want to believe that at this point they're living in a fantasy land.
Degenerate Jay and another point is that people say because it’s made by another company it’s separate but one of the best in the series fallout new Vegas was made by obsidian entertainment and that game is in the fallout canon

I like how at the end of the game Scarecrow winning or losing becomes inconsequential because the actual conflict was always supposed to be Batman losing himself.
Two things I wish from Origins. 1. The dectective recreation mode, made it so that even the simplest of crime scenes had a compelling story behind it. 2. PHYSICAL BOSS FIGHTS!
The rain is one of my excuses as to why the Bat-tank was way harder to drive than it needed to be. One of my main problems throughout my entire play through. the amount of times I used the tank features to turn around sharp corners I lost track of.
I also feel like Jason Todd’s story was done very well, it made me feel even more for him, the fact they decided to fake his death as opposed to him actually dying and saying he was in the asylum during the events of the game makes it even more emotional. only nit picks i had were how he was still mad at bruce even though J was dead and how he was the Knight instead of Tommy Elliott
Although this disappointed me , the things AK did right for me were ..... 1. The Opening Nightmare scene in the diner . 2. The New Gadgets 3. The Suits - Getting to play in my Michael Keaton 89 Batsuit 4. Including Nightwing and Robin - Though I wanted them in the game More . 5. The Batmobile - Chase Mode Only !
My favorite suit is definitely Batman Beyond suit of the ones that I own, but I also like the 70s batman suit. Those ones are definitely my favorite, though I enjoy most of the suits. I'm thinking about getting the first appearance suit and the 89 suit. And the Dark Knight Returns suit.

The combat and predator sections are the best in the series. The batmobile was a deal breaker though. Also many villains were under used and the dlc levels were too short and the bosses sucked especially Deathstroke he was a joke.

Honestly, if The Arkham Knight was just Red Hood from the very start I think the story would have been better. That simple change would have made it so much better. Cause the fact that they tried and thought that him being Jason Todd was a surprise was just insulting and annoying
You also had a new move to pick up enemies to their feet for a beatdown or normal standing attacks instead of just going for attacks on ground. Crouch+cape stun on console if I remember correctly.

I heard a lot about how people hated the way they killed off Black Mask in AK. They pretty much made him act all scared when he's the guy that took on Batman one on one and yet he was for some reason terrified of Red Hood. I just heard that a lot of people were upset about that lol
Can we appreciate how well Arkham Knight uses immersion with the PlayStation controllers? Im playing it on PS5 and the sounds coming from the controller speaker adds to the immersion to the game imo.
It does seem incredibly long to take place in one night. Same thing with City and Asylum. Origins is the most believable, but even it is a stretch. But yeah Knight is the worse. This plot hole is one thing that I have been saying ever since I played City, my first Arkham game, back in like 2014 or 2015.
@@dakotatrue12 Yeah. I personally think asylum is the most believable because it's just the story and it has no side quests. A day and night cycle would be nice, maybe when it's near dawn, Bruce says that he should return to the batcave and it cuts to the next night.

But yeah I feel like Asylum could probably take place in one night, Origins maybe but it's a stretch, City probably not and Knight definitely not.
I loved the entire franchise but Arkham Knight was the only game that had me wanting to keep on playing nonstop to the end. I had to keep myself away from this game so I could sleep. I think the fact that the story was going to conclude was the main driving factor for me, but the combat was really fun too.
For me: 1) God-tier graphics 2) Fluid hand-to-hand combat(too bad there were more Batmobile sequences) 3) Best side mission(Perfect Crime) 4) Attention to detail(Thug comments, Easter eggs, Joker hallucinations) 5) Gadget puzzles were fun
Same here although I do find his gameplay to be amazing and badass as well as his 2 skins and I also find his DLC pretty good despite its short length .
He was done well except for how they pretty much destroy how he is as the red hood. Literally any good argument that he had against Batman’s philosophy is destroyed. The second he used Scarecrow’s fear toxin in that diner full of innocent people, destroyed the point of why he does what he does as Red Hood. It would’ve made more sense if he never becomes red hood which is just sad.
Defiently wish it focused on Batman stopping Scarecrow and then had Red Hood as a character going around murding criminals and even trying to stop Scarecrow by attempting to kill him. The game could have had horror like moments with the Scarecrow, and action packed combat against Red Hood, along with the moral difference between Bruce and Jason.
Apart from the shit boss battles, and the over reliance on the Batmobile... it was an incredible game. They basically improved on every mechanic from the past games. Even small additions like extra Grapnel boost, fear takedowns, The way you selected gadgets, grappling into floor grates etc...... Oh, and Gotham itself was beautiful.
I would have gotten the dlc if the dlcs were longer and some of the side missions were too easy. Fire fly you had to chase, man bat you had to find, and hush was just cut scene then counter. The missions could do better but they were still enjoyable.
The Things I think it could have done better was .... 1. The entire game should have been darker and scarier like the diner scene. 2. Real Boss fights like in Origins . 3. There should have been an option to allow you to play the game as any Bat - family member. 4. More new villains to deal with like the easter eggs that were in all the arkham games like Prometheus . 5. Joker only mentioned in flash backs and not be inside Batman's mind fighting to take over . 6. Let the Arkham Knight be something other than Jason Todd . 7. Have Red Hood in the game hunting down and kill the other villains . 8. Have the story be something else other than 5 other people turning into Joker and Batman's one of them. 9. Better and Longer dlc stories . 10. Have Bat Bunkers all over the city like in the comics . 11. Gotham be one big Island and not seperated into 3 different Islands . and More Buildings that can be entered .
I remember the first time I was playing and I knocked someone down and Batman just jumped over and started wailing on him. I died laughing. Like this guy just got some explosive gel to the face and is barely unconscious and this grown a** man in a bat suit with extreme childhood issues n traumas start beating the s**t out of him
One of my favorite things about this game is the way they handled Poison Ivy's character. She is one of my favorite DC characters, and I love the way they gave her an arc and let her truly grow from a simple femme fatale in Asylum who loves plants to a deeply powerful anti-hero in Knight who sacrifices herself for the greater good.
I just finished it (younger viewer here) and I can honestly say that just overall loved the game. It had more puzzle solving that wasn’t just because of riddler trophies and that weren’t impossible but still made you think
For me Akrham Knight is the best out of 3 (or 4, but since I never finished Origins)..just because aesthetically the best, not only that we get to drive Batmobile, despite how 'too frequent' we use Batmobile for boss fights (the good and the bad). It just felt like playing the Batman. More or less like how it felt when we play as spidey. The gadgets are enough to make us feel like doing spidey stuff and so in Arkham Knight, though new, the addition of Batmobile to the game just made the game felt like we players are the Batman himself. 😁
I’ve recently replayed the whole trilogy, and have realized that Knight’s actually my favorite. When I was younger, City was my favorite and the most played, but I actually feel the story was very weak compared to Knight. I’ve played Knight before yet still felt urgency playing the main story. City’s story felt random, whereas Knight’s story felt much more realistic for a Batman story. Also, the gameplay of Knight was 100% better than any other Arkham game. Moreover, the side missions in City took me a max of 2-3 hours without even rushing, Knight feels much more worthwhile.
really wished they added a few or more race tracks for the OG batmobil…. like a prequal where you race from the city to arkham asylum to deliver Joker in time or something…
One of the things I love most about this game is the real inclusion of most the bat family and the little details about the bigger arkham verse like allusion to superman lex corp being in Gotham and all that game definitely isn't great but it isn't terrible either also the challenges especially endless knight are fun if you're into that sort of thing
Some of my favorite things about this game is 1. The dlc, although it's not necessarily the best instill enjoyed it, especially red hood. 2. The gameplay once you have all upgrades. Starting off it feels like a worse version of the original gameplay 3. Arkham knight. I can look past the red hood predictable thing. But some of his scenes are the best thing of the game like the introduction helicopter battle, the subway scene when he jumps on bruce and shoots the side, and the reveal and arkham hood stealth battle was amazing. That scene and battle is the best thing about this game imo. 4. Gcpd was amazing and felt like how a gcpd should 5. The playable characters. In this game I wanted to play as each and everyone of the characters more than in games like city
If Rocksteady would have released the other Arkham games remastered with the same graphics and gameplay polish as arkham knight, that would have been absolutely PERFECT.
I played Arkham series for the first time just recently, after finishing Spider-Man. Arkham Knight was the first game that finally clicked with me. The combat was the most polished one, but what felt superb to me was the story and pacing (and graphics, though I do not tend to make this an important point). The game made me remember why I loved DC and especially Batman. I genuinely forgot since the last Nolan movie 'cause of that crap DC is putting out lately. And some honorable mention... can we all agree that those team takedowns are the coolest thing ever?
Honestly the only thing I want to mention was this unique and new loop of how Jason Todd became who he is. It strayed away from the old fashion pit giving him life with a sadistic personality to him actually becoming this person himself. It's unique, new, and original in my opinion. I just wish there was more to his character. I haven't played the DLC but in the main story, he was kinda just there. Not much build up but once you actually found out who he was. But even then, it was a brief, short moment of glory that should have been dragged a bit more and put him in the story more instead of a taunting voice on your coms and three bat mobile related boss fights. I was hoping for more of battle with Jason like the fight with Deathstroke in origins. So, in short, Arkham Knight idea was great but poor execution and wasted potential.
i would totally agree, but the problem was that the game made his reveal TOO obvious and the developers kind of screwed themselves over by marketing the game around him so if the story around him was not fantastic it felt like a letdown
I think it would have been interesting if they incorporated the batwing as a useable thing. Since you have the batmobile might as well make batwing playable as well. However, I just played the whole trilogy as a whole. I haven't actually played Batman Arkham Origins(so just Knight, City, and Asylum along with all DLC/season pass) and the collection is pretty good. And yea when I was done 120%(I still have to do 240% for that one outfit) Batman Arkham Knight was the one I had played the most of. All 3 are pretty good games to play really. It was my first time playing any of the games just a week or so ago. Some don't like the Riddler stuff(some have commented saying it was tedious), but I think the Riddler stuff was a bit more fun into the game for sure. Not just an action game, but also a use your head kind of game too. Also, I thought it was kind of funny in the main game that you do get to play as the Joker for a little bit, I thought that was interesting. Only downside is in the designs you get to pick for your car, there is one that looks like a vehicle the Joker would use, but you don't get to drive it. Which I think is crazy.
Arkham Knight is interesting because I was looking forward to it but felt "oh this just a Jason Todd reveal" then I saw the whole "We came up with a new character to be Arkham Knight! Geoff Johns even worked on it!" so the whole game I'm like 'omg who is this?!" especially seeing the Red Hood DLC being of Jason as the hood. Then when Jason took that AK helmet off I was mad that I just finished the game to see the ending and uninstalled. I JUST reinstalled everything (cuz I got the pass so I got everything) and the game still feels great to play. Batmobile feels great to drive and I actually like it's inclusion to the point where I'm so ready to use it in my arsenal that I run into Bruce going "I can't bring the car here". I'm looking forward to completing the full ending, all the side missions, challenges and it's so funny doing Predator missions with Jason doing the boss dialogue especially when you're down to one enemy and let him suffer "just finish him off already Batman" This time around I'm even more immersed in the story and I can really feel the Batman vibe in everything so I can't really be mad at the game anymore for being what it is, Batman at his strongest against the incredible odds he was put up against by damn near his entire rogue's gallery.
Honestly i like the tank stuff but there is just to much tank battles but my main complant is the tank stuff in the riddler challenges and the deathstroke battle
Batman was really grappling with the thought of allowing Ra's to die....but in Arkham City he just straight up rips out Solomon Grundy's heart without a second thought
Arkham Knight was 3 steps forward and 1 step back for the series. It just feels like the attitude toward the storytelling of the world was just way less interested and all around much weaker and less nuanced than AA and AC in my opinion. However, this was an absolute masterclass in game design. And those graphics... this is still one of the most beautiful games ever created so far.
Yeah I think it's a far cry though from giving the game credit in areas where it deserves it to calling it a "masterpiece." I mean I love video games but VERY few games are masterpieces, and it doesn't help that that's even more subjective in gaming than it is in movies. Like I and thousands of others would call Silent Hill 2 a masterpiece, but there's people who would call it clunky and slow, because those people are less interested in the good things it does or the story and more interested in fluidity of combat or progression. People go into games looking for different things. I'm in the middle in terms of caring about story and gameplay some people couldn't care less about one side or the other.
I remember kids wouldn't STFU about wanting the Batmobile jesus they would not fuck off with that shit and AK is like 60% batmobile. Sometimes fans shouldn't be allowed to dictate what happens in movies/games etc
Objectively i see why City is the favorite. Ive put so much more time into knight though (and i have put a lot of time into city) They werent going to top the Deathstroke battle in origins.
One thing I would change is the glitch in New Game Plus in which you can't complete the rest of the game after destroying a drone, I've only been able to complete New Game Plus because of this. :(

I finally got this game on Friday and this was worth 5 years of hype (2014-19). Since I was 7 I completed all of the games %100 and this one felt like a walk in the park. My only problem is hate the extra Riddler stuff that were annoying like the bomb peopls. This game should get more attention by everyone
For some reason the batsuit skins won't unlock, didn't unlock the 200% skin didn't unlock the skin from the beginning of Ak I unlocked the clean version of the new batsuit once but it disappeared and no longer have the option for clean or damaged,... wtf!
I agree about the Batmobile , there was just too much emphasis on it but ever since I first played asylum I always wanted to drive the Batmobile and it sure felt good to drive in the normal mode of course

I love this game. It has some of my favorite versions of these classic characters like Man-Bat and Scarecrow, as well as immersive gameplay! The only parts I’ll tag on it for is how they handled Deathstroke, and of course how they insert the Batmobile into everything.
Yeah this game I think has the best Scarecrow he's amazing in every scene he's in although I do think that he is still somewhat underused in this game .

I didn’t have a problem with Jason being the knight but it could’ve been done way better. Like by the torture scenes alone it was extremely obvious of who it was. It should’ve been more of an actual investigation with you going through new and returning villains to find his identity

Honestly, I found myself “not liking” AK over time but still is a great game in my opinion. It’s just little things that came off as lazy from the developers they could have did better. Like the boss battles. Using the bat mobile when it makes sense.
I don't know why but the way Ivy's story wraps up in this game moved me and I can't say that about many games.

However people are quick to forget that the community WANTED AND BEGGED for us to have the option to use it throughout Arkham City and Arkham Orgins. Honestly I’m happy with how it turned out. I adore how integral to Batman’s kit the Batmobile is. It controls well, has a cool tank function, the world is designed so you can drive it around Gotham, and has a ton of puzzles that you have to use the car for. The Batmobile is a extension of Batman, as it should be. (Sorry for the rant, I just really despise all the complaining about, BATMOBILE IN GAME TOO MUCH LOL)

I think what this game did the best is making Batman feel like an actual human. It's something that we didn't see as much in the previous games and it's a vibrant theme in this one. The fact that you can interact with any character in the game, from the villains to the police officers just makes it more enjoyable. I also feel like the game took much more time developing the philosophical story rather than the playable one which is probably why it has mixed reviews. It is my favourite game in the series and I hope WBM will make an amazing entry with their project.

I also like that A Matter Of family includes Jason Todd’s robin (kinda) because even tho they call him Tim and he has Tim’s voice actor, at that point in canon robin was technically Jason. Wish they had realized that before developing it tho just to get that extra coolness of having the Jason voice actor.
i really enjoyed knight, the way they handled joker was great. you'd look in one direction, then look in the other and he'd be somewhere else. it was fun playing this late at night

I legitimately just ignore people when they say Origins isn't canon now. Sefton Hill said it was, even. On top of that there's half a dozen direct references to its events in Knight. If people don't want to believe that at this point they're living in a fantasy land.

I like how at the end of the game Scarecrow winning or losing becomes inconsequential because the actual conflict was always supposed to be Batman losing himself.
Two things I wish from Origins.
1. The dectective recreation mode, made it so that even the simplest of crime scenes had a compelling story behind it.
2. PHYSICAL BOSS FIGHTS!
The rain is one of my excuses as to why the Bat-tank was way harder to drive than it needed to be. One of my main problems throughout my entire play through. the amount of times I used the tank features to turn around sharp corners I lost track of.
The Man-Bat side mission always scared me, when I first go to Miagani I will turn off my sound, and when I grapple, I close my eyes.

I also feel like Jason Todd’s story was done very well, it made me feel even more for him, the fact they decided to fake his death as opposed to him actually dying and saying he was in the asylum during the events of the game makes it even more emotional. only nit picks i had were how he was still mad at bruce even though J was dead and how he was the Knight instead of Tommy Elliott

4. Including Nightwing and Robin - Though I wanted them in the game More .

This is my favorite Arkham game by far. It has an amazing story, and that end sequence is really good.

I heard a lot about how people hated the way they killed off Black Mask in AK. They pretty much made him act all scared when he's the guy that took on Batman one on one and yet he was for some reason terrified of Red Hood. I just heard that a lot of people were upset about that lol
Can we appreciate how well Arkham Knight uses immersion with the PlayStation controllers? Im playing it on PS5 and the sounds coming from the controller speaker adds to the immersion to the game imo.
One of my problems is that I just can't believe it takes place over one night.
It does seem incredibly long to take place in one night. Same thing with City and Asylum. Origins is the most believable, but even it is a stretch. But yeah Knight is the worse. This plot hole is one thing that I have been saying ever since I played City, my first Arkham game, back in like 2014 or 2015.
@@dakotatrue12 Yeah. I personally think asylum is the most believable because it's just the story and it has no side quests. A day and night cycle would be nice, maybe when it's near dawn, Bruce says that he should return to the batcave and it cuts to the next night.

I loved the entire franchise but Arkham Knight was the only game that had me wanting to keep on playing nonstop to the end. I had to keep myself away from this game so I could sleep. I think the fact that the story was going to conclude was the main driving factor for me, but the combat was really fun too.
For me:
1) God-tier graphics
2) Fluid hand-to-hand combat(too bad there were more Batmobile sequences)
3) Best side mission(Perfect Crime)
4) Attention to detail(Thug comments, Easter eggs, Joker hallucinations)
5) Gadget puzzles were fun

I know this isn't most people's favorite version of Jason, but I thought he was done well. I just wish they built up to him in other games.
Same here although I do find his gameplay to be amazing and badass as well as his 2 skins and I also find his DLC pretty good despite its short length .

He was done well except for how they pretty much destroy how he is as the red hood. Literally any good argument that he had against Batman’s philosophy is destroyed. The second he used Scarecrow’s fear toxin in that diner full of innocent people, destroyed the point of why he does what he does as Red Hood. It would’ve made more sense if he never becomes red hood which is just sad.
I find it to be a fantastic version of that character but also very predictable for him to be the Arkham Knight
Defiently wish it focused on Batman stopping Scarecrow and then had Red Hood as a character going around murding criminals and even trying to stop Scarecrow by attempting to kill him. The game could have had horror like moments with the Scarecrow, and action packed combat against Red Hood, along with the moral difference between Bruce and Jason.
Apart from the shit boss battles, and the over reliance on the Batmobile... it was an incredible game. They basically improved on every mechanic from the past games. Even small additions like extra Grapnel boost, fear takedowns, The way you selected gadgets, grappling into floor grates etc...... Oh, and Gotham itself was beautiful.
I would have gotten the dlc if the dlcs were longer and some of the side missions were too easy. Fire fly you had to chase, man bat you had to find, and hush was just cut scene then counter. The missions could do better but they were still enjoyable.
The Things I think it could have done better was ....
1. The entire game should have been darker and scarier like the diner scene.
2. Real Boss fights like in Origins .
3. There should have been an option to allow you to play the game as any Bat - family member.
4. More new villains to deal with like the easter eggs that were in all the arkham games like Prometheus .
5. Joker only mentioned in flash backs and not be inside Batman's mind fighting to take over .
6. Let the Arkham Knight be something other than Jason Todd .
7. Have Red Hood in the game hunting down and kill the other villains .
8. Have the story be something else other than 5 other people turning into Joker and Batman's one of them.
9. Better and Longer dlc stories .
10. Have Bat Bunkers all over the city like in the comics .
11. Gotham be one big Island and not seperated into 3 different Islands . and More Buildings that can be entered .

I remember the first time I was playing and I knocked someone down and Batman just jumped over and started wailing on him. I died laughing. Like this guy just got some explosive gel to the face and is barely unconscious and this grown a** man in a bat suit with extreme childhood issues n traumas start beating the s**t out of him
I've played thru arkham knight 3 times and one thing I like about manbat is the first encounter with him can be on a few different rooftops
One of my favorite things about this game is the way they handled Poison Ivy's character. She is one of my favorite DC characters, and I love the way they gave her an arc and let her truly grow from a simple femme fatale in Asylum who loves plants to a deeply powerful anti-hero in Knight who sacrifices herself for the greater good.
I love the concept of the Batman who Laughs in this dlc how Bruce could've turned into the Joker I go back sometimes to play it just for that

For me Akrham Knight is the best out of 3 (or 4, but since I never finished Origins)..just because aesthetically the best, not only that we get to drive Batmobile, despite how 'too frequent' we use Batmobile for boss fights (the good and the bad). It just felt like playing the Batman. More or less like how it felt when we play as spidey. The gadgets are enough to make us feel like doing spidey stuff and so in Arkham Knight, though new, the addition of Batmobile to the game just made the game felt like we players are the Batman himself. 😁
The funniest thing about Arkham Knight criticism is that I'd never thought I'd hear comic fans complain "too much batmobile." It feels weird to hear
I’ve recently replayed the whole trilogy, and have realized that Knight’s actually my favorite. When I was younger, City was my favorite and the most played, but I actually feel the story was very weak compared to Knight. I’ve played Knight before yet still felt urgency playing the main story. City’s story felt random, whereas Knight’s story felt much more realistic for a Batman story. Also, the gameplay of Knight was 100% better than any other Arkham game. Moreover, the side missions in City took me a max of 2-3 hours without even rushing, Knight feels much more worthwhile.
really wished they added a few or more race tracks for the OG batmobil…. like a prequal where you race from the city to arkham asylum to deliver Joker in time or something…
One of the things I love most about this game is the real inclusion of most the bat family and the little details about the bigger arkham verse like allusion to superman lex corp being in Gotham and all that game definitely isn't great but it isn't terrible either also the challenges especially endless knight are fun if you're into that sort of thing

Some of my favorite things about this game is
1. The dlc, although it's not necessarily the best instill enjoyed it, especially red hood.
2. The gameplay once you have all upgrades. Starting off it feels like a worse version of the original gameplay
3. Arkham knight. I can look past the red hood predictable thing. But some of his scenes are the best thing of the game like the introduction helicopter battle, the subway scene when he jumps on bruce and shoots the side, and the reveal and arkham hood stealth battle was amazing. That scene and battle is the best thing about this game imo.

I played Arkham series for the first time just recently, after finishing Spider-Man. Arkham Knight was the first game that finally clicked with me. The combat was the most polished one, but what felt superb to me was the story and pacing (and graphics, though I do not tend to make this an important point). The game made me remember why I loved DC and especially Batman. I genuinely forgot since the last Nolan movie 'cause of that crap DC is putting out lately.
And some honorable mention... can we all agree that those team takedowns are the coolest thing ever?
Honestly the only thing I want to mention was this unique and new loop of how Jason Todd became who he is. It strayed away from the old fashion pit giving him life with a sadistic personality to him actually becoming this person himself. It's unique, new, and original in my opinion. I just wish there was more to his character. I haven't played the DLC but in the main story, he was kinda just there. Not much build up but once you actually found out who he was. But even then, it was a brief, short moment of glory that should have been dragged a bit more and put him in the story more instead of a taunting voice on your coms and three bat mobile related boss fights. I was hoping for more of battle with Jason like the fight with Deathstroke in origins. So, in short, Arkham Knight idea was great but poor execution and wasted potential.
i would totally agree, but the problem was that the game made his reveal TOO obvious and the developers kind of screwed themselves over by marketing the game around him so if the story around him was not fantastic it felt like a letdown
I think it would have been interesting if they incorporated the batwing as a useable thing. Since you have the batmobile might as well make batwing playable as well. However, I just played the whole trilogy as a whole. I haven't actually played Batman Arkham Origins(so just Knight, City, and Asylum along with all DLC/season pass) and the collection is pretty good. And yea when I was done 120%(I still have to do 240% for that one outfit) Batman Arkham Knight was the one I had played the most of. All 3 are pretty good games to play really. It was my first time playing any of the games just a week or so ago. Some don't like the Riddler stuff(some have commented saying it was tedious), but I think the Riddler stuff was a bit more fun into the game for sure. Not just an action game, but also a use your head kind of game too. Also, I thought it was kind of funny in the main game that you do get to play as the Joker for a little bit, I thought that was interesting. Only downside is in the designs you get to pick for your car, there is one that looks like a vehicle the Joker would use, but you don't get to drive it. Which I think is crazy.

Arkham Knight is interesting because I was looking forward to it but felt "oh this just a Jason Todd reveal" then I saw the whole "We came up with a new character to be Arkham Knight! Geoff Johns even worked on it!" so the whole game I'm like 'omg who is this?!" especially seeing the Red Hood DLC being of Jason as the hood. Then when Jason took that AK helmet off I was mad that I just finished the game to see the ending and uninstalled. I JUST reinstalled everything (cuz I got the pass so I got everything) and the game still feels great to play. Batmobile feels great to drive and I actually like it's inclusion to the point where I'm so ready to use it in my arsenal that I run into Bruce going "I can't bring the car here". I'm looking forward to completing the full ending, all the side missions, challenges and it's so funny doing Predator missions with Jason doing the boss dialogue especially when you're down to one enemy and let him suffer "just finish him off already Batman"
This time around I'm even more immersed in the story and I can really feel the Batman vibe in everything so I can't really be mad at the game anymore for being what it is, Batman at his strongest against the incredible odds he was put up against by damn near his entire rogue's gallery.

Batman was really grappling with the thought of allowing Ra's to die....but in Arkham City he just straight up rips out Solomon Grundy's heart without a second thought
Grundy is a bit more undead than Ra's to be fair. Grundy will be just fine, Ra's needs to get to his Lazarus Pit.
Arkham Knight was 3 steps forward and 1 step back for the series. It just feels like the attitude toward the storytelling of the world was just way less interested and all around much weaker and less nuanced than AA and AC in my opinion. However, this was an absolute masterclass in game design. And those graphics... this is still one of the most beautiful games ever created so far.
Am I the only one that likes the Red Hood costume from the end of the main story more than the one from the DLC?
Besides it’s pathetic and predictable storyline it was a masterpiece.

Yeah I think it's a far cry though from giving the game credit in areas where it deserves it to calling it a "masterpiece." I mean I love video games but VERY few games are masterpieces, and it doesn't help that that's even more subjective in gaming than it is in movies. Like I and thousands of others would call Silent Hill 2 a masterpiece, but there's people who would call it clunky and slow, because those people are less interested in the good things it does or the story and more interested in fluidity of combat or progression. People go into games looking for different things. I'm in the middle in terms of caring about story and gameplay some people couldn't care less about one side or the other.

I remember kids wouldn't STFU about wanting the Batmobile jesus they would not fuck off with that shit and AK is like 60% batmobile. Sometimes fans shouldn't be allowed to dictate what happens in movies/games etc
Objectively i see why City is the favorite. Ive put so much more time into knight though (and i have put a lot of time into city)
They werent going to top the Deathstroke battle in origins.
One thing I would change is the glitch in New Game Plus in which you can't complete the rest of the game after destroying a drone, I've only been able to complete New Game Plus because of this. :(

My main problem with the game is the dumb ass twist and how many riddler challenges you have to beat to complete the game
Character designs, atmosphere, map, gameplay, batmobile(except it was overused), some of the dlc, the dual play mechanic, the gadget and control. Changes, some bits of the story, etc
I finally got this game on Friday and this was worth 5 years of hype (2014-19). Since I was 7 I completed all of the games %100 and this one felt like a walk in the park. My only problem is hate the extra Riddler stuff that were annoying like the bomb peopls. This game should get more attention by everyone

For some reason the batsuit skins won't unlock, didn't unlock the 200% skin didn't unlock the skin from the beginning of Ak I unlocked the clean version of the new batsuit once but it disappeared and no longer have the option for clean or damaged,... wtf!
Bat mobile is the only car in the history of ever that can manage to run into a bush and not get completely obliterated

I agree about the Batmobile , there was just too much emphasis on it but ever since I first played asylum I always wanted to drive the Batmobile and it sure felt good to drive in the normal mode of course
