what a coincidence! We had also made an offer on this house at the beginning of September. I now understand why they didn't negotiate with us! we have now bought another house in Oliva. Best of luck with your beautiful home.
What wonderful, positive women 😊 Dead ringers for their Spanish mother, who must have been a ‘gitana’ for sure! Instead of picky, negative participants who seem to find fault with everything, these loved every house, warts and all 😂, and found their dream home ❤ For sure their mother was there with them 😊 Greetings from a Swede in Sevilla!
It's nice seeing home buyers who appreciate the culture and Spain's way of life, and not just ones that want their holiday homes to look like holiday homes, ie, places they can just rent out to other holidaymakers. Those type of second homebuyers ruin it for locals, because they are just foreigners who actually don't give a damn about Spain or it's way or life or its culture and they end up being nuisances for the neighbours and locals. Obviously there are exceptions, but most don't bother learning the language, and just want to surround themselves with other expats. Really, they should just stay in hotels. If I was Spain I would really put a cap on second homebuyers, like they would have to prove they can speak intermediate Spanish at the least. I knew this lovely London couple who bought a house in the mountains around Almería and once a week they would go to their local London evening college to learn Spanish. They even did evening Spanish A Levels, so there Spanish really improved and they would go with several in the class to watch Spanish films in the Spanish Film Festival in Cine Lumiere in South Kensington and back in Almeria they started making good local friends too, starting with their neighbours who appreciated they weren't Little Englander types. Those are the type of second homebuyers I and locals in general like. And you can say the same for foreigners who come to live in England. If you don't care about the culture, can't be bothered about learning the language and just want to hang out with natives from your own country, well then just don't bother. At least TRY to fit in and respect the way of life from whichever country you buy a home in, at least while you are there.
@@unalunar7362 Number 16 is up for £41,000 Euro and has a courtyard with a Workshop the Owners are Spanish and its just sold six weeks ago for 37,000 Euros 💶… So yeah they over paid … As the Owners put it up on the English Websites for £56,000 pounds in the hope of a British person buying it but the Local baker has bought it instead as he plans to use the workshop to bake in… You see there’s a Local price and a Tourists who dont do research price
